Billy is a great guy, does A+ work, helps when needed, but his worker, specifically the youngest one was very rude, gave attitude as soon as we came in, and seemed like he’s not interested in helping at all. Would def come back to support Billy, but would not like it if that guy was involved. All in all, great place, great owner, terrible worker.

Untill I met the guys at Need Powdwer Coating I didnt even know how the whole process was, they broke it down from start to finish and pointed out the mistakes made by the previous clowns in N.Y.C that powder coated my wheels and didnt even last 6 months. These guys do such a great job from offering loaner tires if you cant leave your car, to making you comftable while you wait. Their work speaks for them.

They fixed a broken wheel stud and replaced a set of lug-nuts on one wheel and didnt even charge me extra, Billy just asked for the prior agreed upon price. He i an honest guy with a passion for motorsports and it all shows through the success of his business. The results speak for themselves. My 1994 Dodge Stealth RT Twin Turbo stops on a dime now. They also installed a full cat-less down-pipe system a month or so ago that gave them nothing but trouble. Luckily these guys are amazing metal fabricators too. The pulled through. Ive had many shops refuse to even attempt to work on my car. Billy and his guys didnt hesitate to bring a notoriously difficult car to work on into their state-of-the-art facility and really pulled through multiple times already with this build. Every time I go to NPC I see supercars and exotics on one of their many lifts. Amazing experience!!! Life long customer!!!

Turn around time was supposed to be a week. Multiple calls and lots of text with no response from owner. Picked up wheels three weeks later and they were full of flaws. Seems like they rushed them last minute. Most spokes were a different tone. The hubs had heavier coat. They seem to have more work than they can handle.

Was referred to Billy by a good friend because I had a bent rim and another place told me Id have to replace the entire thing. Clearly that was false. I pulled up to Billys place, told him what the issue was and within an hour my rim was fixed for a very reasonable price. Saved me a few hundred dollars. I will definitely be returning and referring others.

Terrible experience with Need Powder coating. After them having my car for 10 days and saying how they did not have the proper equipment to bleed my brakes they finally did it manually. When they bled the brakes they also spilled brake fluid all over my freshly done calipers, and wheels. My calipers also came with cracks in them, my strut brace had a mis-colored dot on it and the shop did not replace my bleeder caps.Please see pictures below showing the end result of need powder coatings work. The owner billy gave me a partial refund for the calipers but did not respond to me once I showed him the wheels with brake fluid spots on them, as well as a receipt for new bleeder caps.Myself and 2 other close friends also had issues the very same week. Poorly repaired wheels, and a complete lack of customer service. This shop went down hill the moment they started out-sourcing their work.STAY AWAY FROM NEED POWDER COATING!!!!

Beautiful work. Renewed my 5 year old rims one of which was bent and had no idea when Idrove the car off the Iot I immediately noticed the difference. Car feels like new. Also the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Never have I ever in any business. Seen a business let alone an owner of an establishment put his hands on a customers and his girlfriend. Instead of getting the customer out in a jiffy. Has him waiting or an overly quoted time. Do not recommend this place to no one unless you want unprofessional work as well.

One of my good friends reffer me to this shop! I went to get my f80 m3 spring replacement & when they were done my chassis stability control light came on! I went from PA to Newark nj & I drove with that light on 2hrs back home! Got in contact with the guy name billy Wich is the owner and told me to go back to see if the cable was broke or un proper set!!! He gave me an appoitment for the following Monday. When I got there about 10am one of the tech told me that I had to wait Until 4-5pm so they could start the job. Imagine I drove to 2hrs to get there in top of that they wanted me to wait there until 4-6 & by the time a got done I was going to be home by 10-11pm!!! Real bad service for these guys knowing I came from far and they didn’t do anything to help. I left that shop & I guarantee that I will never go back there 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

EDIT 1 year later 11/11/2020The wheel clear coat or w.e is already CRACKING, owner hasnt responded. Hopefully I hear back from the owner Billy.Car came back with a scratch on the bumper originally but owner made it right by repairing.

Dropped off a set of wheels to have powder coated. Very easy to deal with, very nice people.They can powder coat what seems like any color under the sun. If you dont know the color you want they have tons of swatches to refer to.Turn around time isnt bad, only about 10-12 days and considering that they have special order the color and they have to fix the curb rash, Id say thats an exceptional turn around time.Parking can be a bit of a challenge as thier lot is usually full of customer cars and street parking in this industrial area is limited, beware of the no parking signs, but on Saturday around 11am I didnt have a problem.Walking up to the front door look for the sign that points to the door bell that says Magic Button and someone will buzz you in.As I was saying before they can powder coat just about anything and they even have a brake caliper exchange program so you can get your brake calipers exchanged for your old ones, which is a fantastic service!Looking forward to coming back here for additional work.

The fix my bent and crack rims and powder coated them to gloss black and took out the curb rash great job great service.

Very impressed! The shop is excellent and the staff is attentive. They had my wheels repaired very fast, for a great price, and my car drives MUCH smoother at high speeds.

Worst experience ever took my project car here to do the full 3 inch exhaust.. first time in the street, broke my fuel tank and had a loud noise going over bumps when I notice this people made the 3inch pipe between the subframe and control arms. I Talk to the owner second time showed him the problem. 2 days later he texted me to pick the car Up at 5pm I got there and the car wasn’t even done. The guy that was working on my car the rudest guy ever with a nasty attitude. I told him that I was going to come back later on the same day, came back and they never fix the problem just made my 3inch exhaust was smaller and still around the suspension. Left the car there again. after that day I never knew nothing about my car 6 days later I had to text the owner to check on the car, he text me back car is done and asking for more money on top of what I paid him the first time. I refuse to give him more money and pick the car up. Driving the car home for the third time the exhaust was done wrong is hitting everything under the car is like the exhaust is lose worse then before. I had work done prior without any issues. I drop another pair of wheels off and they set in their shop for a while. I called, and sent one text per week, with no response. I pick them up, and had them done at another shop and it only took 5 days

Billy has been doing all my powder for the past 4 years. Work on a always done exceptionally well with a quick turnaround time. I’ll be a customer there as long as they’re open.

These guys are a bunch leaches and when they screw up they refused to fix it. Also Most of these five stars are FAKE reviews they give you a Discount if you rate them Five Stars. Keep away from this place.

If negative stars were possible thats what Id give em. Had two barrels welded on my wheels and it looked like a blind person with a missing hand did the job. I ended up debeading on the highway and waited 6 hours for a tow truck, two tires loosing pressure every two days and I didnt realize why until I took all my wheels off and had them checked by a local tire shop and was told that where it was welded was leaking and needed to be redone. The best part, Billy denied doing the job.

Very expensive place and they lost some of my parts. Poor communicationUpdate: The parts I did get powder coated are now pealing and starting to rust only one year later. Very poor craftsmanship.

Im not one to write a bad review but i messaged them on instagram about my bent wheel and drove all the way to their shop 30 mins away. Once upon arrival everyone was extremely rude and not really cooperative and told me to just sit down in the office and they would let me know when its ready. After they inspected the wheel they told me it was bent which i had told them it was lol and told me it was unrepairable. I took my other 3 wheels to the original guy that powdercoated them and the new wheel i purchased because they said one of them was bent and when i showed the other shop they simply fixed it and repowdercoated and told me it was an easy and simple fix!

NeedPowercoating pros. They did a good job widening my wheels. Cons messed my coating up on my wheels in the process. They over charged me for shipping. And now they refuse to fix the problem. I wouldnt recommend them. Custom Service In awful!

No customer service, no reciept of purchase/service. Honestly, i dont even think they repaired my rims...

Took an extra 6 days than what I was told at first to powder coat my wheels. Also horrible customer service, when I tried to get an update I got no response I had to go to the shop in person after my 3rd time going back I finally got my wheels back. I think the wheels were rushed and were not dried properly as I already have a little bit of paint that has come off already after only a couple of weeks. Would not recommend. I wish I woulda looked at some of these reviews beforehand.
