Good food, reasonably priced, and fast service. Working from home and only several miles away, I was able to squeeze in a quick lunch with my son within my allotted lunch break time. The photo Im attaching is of the Pantheon on multi grain bread. Very similar to a Phili-style cheesesteak. It came with the chips you see and I ordered a drink. Well return to this restaurant in the future.

Fresh ingredients, many menu options, helpful friendly staff, fresh tea & coffee, very clean, exterior sign is faded so you dont notice the place right away. Definitely recommend this Cafe. I drove an hour to get here and I will visit again soon.

The staff is so friendly and the food came out very quick. I was impressed by how big the menu was for both food and drinks! Best bagel sandwich Ive had in a while, but I just moved here from Canada so take that with a grain of salt.

This place is really great, Homemade Bagels amazing from first bite to last didn’t feel heavy on my stomach. Flavor coffee was great as well not a lot of acidity and smooth.... I’ll definitely be back

Loved this place. Great for grabbing breakfast or brunch. We had two of mix n match lunch combos, each of which consists of a half lunch sandwich, a half salad or a half soup. I enjoyed a lobster bisque and a malmaison sandwich, while my friend relished a different combination. Highly recommend visiting!

Little confusing at first no menus up on the walls. However everyone was extremely friendly. Got a coffee and bagel both pretty good, Plus the have a good vegetable cream cheese which is a personal favorite.

I have been a customer for years but now I’m done. The price have went up, I just paid $10 for 6 bagels and $4.50 for a tub of cream cheese that was not even full. I don’t mind paying for good food but I can go to Main Street and get the same quality for almost half the price. Want really bothers me is the lack of customer service, they are plain rude. This has happened more than once and I am done. When Heather was there, staff was constant and had great customer service skills. Since she has moved on, turnover is high and the customer service is very bad.

Very cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The bagel sandwiches are fantastic and the coffee and tea is very good as well. Theres a lot of tea flavors and bagel options. Friendly and fast service, not too crowded, and good seating options. Grab a coffee and bring a book, or chat with friends. Love it!

Gave you two chances. Both times you skimped on the bacon on my bacon egg n cheese on a toasted everything bagel. One piece? Come on. Also please always cut sandwich in half. Makes it easier to eat and or share.The guy who took my order on the phone and delivered to my car was very polite. 😷✌🏼🥓🥓🥓

Just went in to order and asked what soups they have and the man at the counter told me “well they are frozen and alllll the way in the back so I’d have to go all the way back there to get it and so...” “like I mean I don’t mind but I’m just saying...” uhm no sir you told me all I need to hear. You don’t want to do your job because you would have to walk to the back? I thew away the menu and left. Never coming back.

Great little café with a delicious variety of coffees and sandwiches. They also have salads and plenty of breakfast sandwiches, bagels, cookies, and specialty drinks. I do wish they still had soups, but maybe theyll bring them back eventually. I love the variety of bagels and breads they have, as well as the unique lunch sandwich menu. The croissants are also very good.Theyve updated the interior with new paint and decor, and it also smells a lot better. It used to have a very distinct food has been cooked here for 10 years! smell, so much so that I didnt enjoy dining in because the smell would settle into my clothes and hair. Well, its completely gone now, so props to them.The service could be slightly better, in the sense that if your sandwich comes with chips, most of the time you have to ask them if it does--they dont just tell you. Or the half-and-half, milk, and sugar are depleted at the coffee station, or the coffee carafes are not being replenished when they run out. Little things that show attention to detail.But every sandwich Ive had heres been stellar. Full of flavor, unique, and I LOVE that you can pick your bread/bagel to have it on. I am not a fan of being locked into a bread choice, and soooo many places just wanna force ciabatta down your throat. (I hate ciabatta. Why is EVERYTHING served on ciabatta nowadays? It is the WORST bread of all breads.) Anyways, love that they let you decide on your own meat/veg/egg delivery carbohydrate platform. Also, again, love their coffee. Its a good little spot.

Food is good, but orders are constantly wrong and the person doing curbside is quite unfriendly. The last 3 out of 4 orders were missing items or had the wrong items. The receipt will be right, but the item we got was wrong or just missing. While its good food, not worth having to unwrap and count each item before leaving.

Best cafe in DE. Coffee, unique sandwiches, fresh ingredients, warm atmosphere. The staff are all super friendly. Once you become a regular, they remember your name, remember your order, have a good conversation. I highly recommend this place. They can get busy at times, but what do you expect!

My family orders from Whereabouts Cafe all the time. The bagels are fantastic and so are the breakfast sandwiches. Even the service has been impeccable, until now.Recently Wherabouts started selling burgers at night on the weekend. Tonight we decided to give the burgers a shot. After getting home and opening our order we noticed one of the burgers was not as ordered. It was over cooked and missing all the toppings. After calling whereabouts and informing them about the error and that I wouldn’t be driving back, they didn’t offer a refund. When you pay $10 for a burger, you expect it to be right.As for the milkshake (if you can even call it that), it was lack luster. It was a really good smoothie though.

Coming from out of town, and wanted a turkey bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. They didnt have turkey bacon, and the sandwich was average, but the bread was pretty good

Light fluffy bagels. Wish they were open later! Great coffee and tea selection. Dont know how Ive drove past this place so many times and havent heard about it. Food and atmosphere has a PNW (Pacific Northwest) feel. Service was a bit slow but definitely worth the wait. Our waitress was cute and sweet. Love love love

Was hit on by an employee, no big deal. I didnt respond to his advance, I literally didnt acknowledge it. He made my drink and it took longer than normal, especially considering the store was empty. I knew it tasted off when I drank it at home.I dont know if he squeezed a rag or sponge in my drink. I do know that I immediately got sick and for two weeks I battled an infection which I eventually had to go to the hospital to be seen and was prescribe a round of antibiotics and a decongestants. It was wicked, it would not go away on its own.Eat at your own risk. I have nothing to hide and no other motives but to warn people.

This café has the best cheddar jalapeno bagel, but the worst customer service. The cashiers/staff have been consistently rude over the past few years. During COVID if they only let you text in orders they need to have something on their website explaining this. I hope in the future they will only keep good employees. It would make a big difference in this rating.

Hidden gem. The staff is friendly and it has a great atmosphere. The food is good and plenty of choices. If you dont want fast food but want a quick breakfast or lunch that is good...check this place out. I went there a few months ago and stopped in today on my off day...still good. I will be back sooner then later.

I love this place. You get an experience. They mostly sell sandwiches and coffee. And they do both very well. I mostly get their bacon egg, and cheese bagel sandwich, and boi do they not disappoint! Now look, I can make my own. But these guys got great ingredients, and most importantly, probly best bagels in the state. Their bagels are soft. But offer that perfect al dente chew, it really cant compare to a lot of places. If you want quality, come here. But be aware that bite not necessarily cheap.

Best bagel shop ever!! They have the best food, the best staff and the best owners!! We moved out of the area two and a half years ago and still travel 45 minutes to get food from whereabouts Cafe every once in a while. So good!! I wish they would open a shop in Smyrna !!🙃

Excellent smoothies peach and pear being my favorite. I love the fresh daily soup. 1 complaint sandwich was packed. Could of easily been two sandwiches and i only got half sandwich. ;)

Terrific bagels. they are so soft and chewy. i go 15 minutes out of my way this past weekend to get some for my guests. they all loved it. the jalapeno cheddar is best!

We go here for breakfast at least once on weekends when we are home. The bagels are THE BEST you will find anywhere. Huge variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. All of the ones I have tried are excellent. The staff is great. Dont miss this place.

Heard through word of mouth about this place. Delicious bagels that were fluffy and crispy outside. Loved the variety of coffee that was available. Super happy to find a place that sells bagels somewhat similar to the ones we are used to in North Jersey.

Local “Mom & Pop” Shop, literally! Owners Heather & Marcus Love can be found on site regularly working hard & mingling with patrons - listening to all feedback with care. Their so, young Marcus, is General Manager following his parents footsteps moving fast behind the counter with his crew.Coffee is the smoothest we can find on the east coast so far. Smoothies are yummy. Bagels are steamed not boiled, never chewy.Food is fresh & portions are generous.We are regulars here & have made many friends out of other regulars.After many political County hold-ups they are expanding soon to the left side & we can’t wait for the bigger menu & music to come!

Ordered a bagel with scrapple,the srapple was sliced so thin until it was hardly visible on the bagel, I almost needed a magnifying glass to locate it. have NEVER seen scrapple sliced so thin, not to mention it tasted like canadian bacon🤔,I have gotten this sandwich there before and did not experience this, I called the store to find out where was the meat and got a no nonsense answer that they slice it bacon thin, I usually go there for this particular sandwich, not anymore, my business will go elsewhere, where you get a decent sandwich for what you pay for, not to mention scrapple is one of the cheapest breakfast meats around. Goodbye whereabouts!!!!

I found my finger latte spot!! Thank you Whereabouts Cafe! The food was great too. Fresh bagels with an assortment of inspired sandwiches coupled with personable quality service. I gave 5 stars because because the food and quality surpassed my one disappointment. I was hoping I left the shop smelling like coffee or fresh bread or cookies...but I left smelling like grilled butter. Quick fix with some candles or flower plugins.

On several occasions I tried to support this business during COVID. First, time I was told I could only order 3 bagels unless I called the day before. Second time, I tried to call in but the line was busy. Since I was sitting out front, I go to the table and ask to purchase 3 bagels... the young man said he couldn’t take orders and I had to call it in... I said the line was busy... he said yes that’s true.... I find it difficult to understand why I am trying to give you business when it’s pretty obvious you don’t want it... DONE

Has fast become a staple of the weekend. Bagels are light and soft. Menu is interesting. Portions are very generous. Coffee is good. Ambience is homey, if a tad plain. Reasonably priced.

The food is quite spectacular here. Yum. I always end up needing a box though, so unless you are super hungry, dont go. You will end up with a lot to take home. They have delicious breakfast selections: coffee and lattes, many breakfast sandwiches complete with your pick of any flavor bagel on hand, and baked goods. Mm-mm!

The bagels are OUT of this world. Light and airy. The everything bagel is phenomenal and you really cant go wrong with anything. The staff is excellent and so friendly.. always has a smile on their faces.

I can’t say enough about this cafe. I have turned so many people on to here as well, once you try it you get addicted! By far the best bagel in Delaware, and I’m able to get a great vegan breakfast sandwich, while my friends can enjoy their non-vegan options. And great coffee too!!

The Good: Great Bagels & sometimes Great beverages.The Bad: The decline of intelligence in the staff and an increase in prices for menu items continues to frustrate me. Why do I keep going back? Because it is the only game in town and depending on who makes your drink it just might be spectacular! Lattes and cappuccinos will vary drastically depending on who is crafting them. The decor is fine but I preferred this cafe when it had a cozy couch and more room at the bar, it just doesn’t have a warm coffee house vibe.

Always a great place to just relax with a cup and good company. A little on the pricier side for tea and the hours are too short - and theres not a baby changing table... Yet! Looking forward to the expansion. In the meantime, good tea and coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and friendly service!

Very nice little place to sit and have a Breakfast or lunch date. All of the breads are made fresh here. I have never had a bad experience here. I love that they added a wait staff to wait on tables instead of standing in line then trying to find a table. The coffee according to the wife and a few other friends that I have taken here is the best.

This is one of, if not, my favorite bagel place in the area. I love a good everything bagel with cream cheese and this place delivers perfectly every time, I have tried a few other types of their bagels as well and they have all been great. If you arent looking for a bagel, their other breakfast options are just as good!

This is a great place for breakfast food. Love the coffee, love the people, love the atmosphere. What I don’t love is the lack of exhaust in the place. I stopped going because the smell sticks to you like glue because there isnt an exhaust system, so anytime you’re in there for more than five minutes, you wreak of breakfast food.that’s the only reason for the 4.

I love this restaurant. The fresh bagels are excellent! Also, their choice of lattes are great. My favorites are the Polar Bear, the Hare, and Almond Joy. The staff is always very kind. I highly recommend it for a place to sit and have a cup of coffee, a sandwich and read or have a nice private discussion.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before a movie. Atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. The sandwiches were good - not the typical blah. I was disappointed that there was only white or wheat bread available and not croissant (which is what I wanted) or any of the other breads on the menu for sandwiches, but it was Sunday so I guess they run out...

I love their bagels and sandwich ideas. The counter service is always fast and friendly. Sadly, eating in the dining area brings slow, slow service and not so friendly.

This is a lovely little hole in the wall cafe in People Plaza. They serve excellent breakfast and lunch, and have some delicious in house coffee flavors. Highly recommended for some brunch with friends or your significant other!

In an area that severely lacks good coffee shops this place is a good option. The bagels are alright and the service was very attentive and friendly. It does have more of a “restaurant” feel though, rather than a cozy “coffee shop” vibe that my hipster city slicker urban-dwelling self is used to. :)

Best staff. Always friendly, courteous and pays attention to what you like and how you order it if youre a regular. Will always go out of my way to make a trip here if Im nearby.

We eat here 1- 2 times a week or more. bagels are second to none and everything is delicious. Employees are nice and helpful. Dining room is comfortable and clean.

The best tuna bagels ever. Very expensive. Its about $8 but comes with a tiny bag of chips. Very tiny. Lol I will pay because its super yummy. Small bagel by the way.

My friends and I met up here every once in a while and its always an excellent experience. Their food is a bit pricy, but its very delicious: everything looks and tastes fresh and they have the BEST bagels. I like when Im able to go up to the counter and order more than the restaurant style they switched to a couple years ago (if I could give 4.5 stars for this, I would). Still, its my go-to place for meeting up with friends.

Good coffee, good food, slow service and hospitality is lacking. We were seated and left to figure out weather we had a waiter/ waitress, if we had to get our own coffee or did we get table service. After sitting at the table for 8 minutes we got up and got coffee, when we sat down, waited another 3 minutes, we were about to walk out when she walked over (the waitress) saying sorry, I thought he was going to serve you but since he didn’t I came over.. I was so ready to just walk out but instead we ordered, the food is very good. It’s a nice spot, I just think they need to retrain in manners and service.. Greetings your customers is a must and definitely good service matters.. not sure why we were treated that way but I feel it’s because we are a mixed couple.. I saw others being waited on and no one was treated like we were.. so who knows ... but the food is very good...

There is a server named Dan. Hes so upbeat and cheery. My friends and I absolutely love him.The food is great. Id love to see gluten free bread options.

Went in for an interview. Was literally 2 minutes late. And waited another 10 minutes for the heather woman to walk up . Only to say you were late we dont do late interviews. I didnt even have words to say. I was right on time if I could find a parking spot, let alone the sign, and have someone actually greet me. Very rude and disrespectful. Then I walk back into the store only for some man Marco say shes busy, coward. I knew these people and this business was a mess bc she cancelled my interview twice! Only for me to get lost, waste gas, and not even get the chance to explain myself . Good riddance!

After another place in Peoples Plaza failed to find our reservations, we came here and enjoyed their stellar service! Salads & sandwiches are worth every penny! Their ranch dressing isnt super heavy but not too runny👍! The Quartier Latin sandwich was really good! Thanks guys! You put our bad experience at the another place nearby FAR from our minds 😁😁😁😁

Has vegetarian breakfast sausage in addition to meat offerings. I had the Grace bagel egg sandwich on Everygrain bagel added cream cheese and a vanilla black tea. It was so good I came back 2 days later and ordered the same. Clean, cute, relaxing coffee house feel with a pleasant staff.

Great bagels and their lunch sandwhiches are delicious! Their breakfast bagels especially the Burke is my favorite. Only drawback is some times there can be a long line but its worth it!

Been a loyal customer for years, brought so much business here and have done many large corporate orders.. went in to get a sandwich to go with a cup of water and they told me to leave because I cannot bring outside food or drink in!! I was grabbing to go and it was water! I have been in there so many times where children have had outside juice and food and no one said anything!! Completely rude - do not go here!!!!

This place is great! My boyfriend has to do the gluten free thing so they let him order a breakfast sandwich and give him double the meat and eggs to accommodate. Sometimes the service can be a little off depending on who is working, but it is mostly good.

Went here for breakfast while staying at Lums Pond. So freaking tasty! I had their house coffee and Alexa breakfast sandwich. I highly recommend the sandwich it was so tasty, the bread was thick and fluffy. Staff was nice too!

Love the bagel sandwiches. Sometimes its a little smoky. Needs a better exhaust for the kitchen. Carbon monoxide is a concern.

I dont get only being able to get 3 bagels unless you advance order. Come on make the adjustments already whereabouts. Ill go elsewhere.
