I purchased two dresses from Brides and Grooms in the past year and one was for my wedding! Marie was so amazing to me. She was pleasant and helped me so much. Two of my best friends also bought their wedding dresses from her and she did not disappoint. If you want to feel special and comfortable then call Brides and Grooms! My review is geared towards plus size brides. I had purchased my dress last year from Brides and Grooms. The experience was great! Everyone was so friendly and I got my dress! The reason I’m reviewing is because my dress was ordered 3 sizes too big. I was the same size and weight on my wedding day as the day I tried on my dress. I took my dress to a local seamstress and she had to take it in 3 sizes that cost over $600 in alterations. The dress was beautiful but even with alterations it did not look as good as it could have but we did the best we could with what we were given. My advice is to measure brides true to size and if there is doubt about sizes only go up one size to prevent additional cost and frustrations over alterations.

My experience was a nightmare with Brides and Grooms.1week before my wedding😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 and my dress was returned the same way I left it with every pin they put in my dress at my fitting. The pictures below speaks for itself😮😥😥😞😵😵 Very unprofessional!!

I am going to give this store a 2 out of 5. Heres why:I am the maid of honor. The bride and us girls went to try on dresses. We all said yes to the dress. We were told that the dresses needed to be ordered which is normal. We all got a discount since the bride bought her dress there as well. Where they get you is you basically end up not getting a discount because they charge you to ship your dress to their store, I can understand if I had it shipped to my home but why am I paying for your shipping to your store?. We ask how much it will cost us to have them altered. They tell us the bridesmaid dress max out at $89, Sounds good!Dresses come in and we all go to get fitted. One bridesmaid dress is way bigger the it should have been. She ended up switching and taking the dress off the rack Since she asked for that same size since it fit her perfect. No discount was offered so I called and explained how it wasnt fair she paid for a brand new dress but has a floor model dress. She was offered $30 back. This is July 2021Weeks go by and we hear nothing its now September 15th. The wedding is the first week of October so I call to check on the dresses. Im told oh yea they are done. When was anyone going to call us and let us know? I ask what the balance is and they tried to charge us $99 each to get the dresses altered. I stated again no you promised us $89. We were also charged $30 for cups. No one mentioned they cost extra when the cups were offered. It is what it is we need the dresses we have to pay it.One bridesmaid goes in to try her dress on and pay to take it home and they took her dress in way to much that it needed to be cut and have fabric added to it.Seems like the communication slacks really bad with this store and they cant keep track of what they offer the customers.

Im giving 5 stars because they have such amazing customer service! We came in with a large bridal group and EVERYONE found their dress that day, even the bride! The staff was very patient and helpful with the fitting and finding exactly what we had in vision. There was a slight issue with my dress when it came in, and the owner never even questioned it when I brought it back in. She even squeezed me in real quick to see what was going on and made sure everything was perfect! I will certainly be coming here if I ever get married! Such a great experience!

The absolute best place to go! My cousin’s wife told me to go to Brides and Grooms for my wedding dress, because she bought her wedding dress there. I went in July 2019 and tried on 7 or 8 gowns but knew the first gown I tried on was the one. We were helped by someone who is no longer there, but she treated us like family and can’t say enough about how amazing she was. Everyone in there was amazing from the second we walked in until the second I walked out with my dress last Wednesday for our wedding on 10/2/20. The alterations were absolutely perfect and Marie and the staff there could not have been nicer. They treat you as their family and go above and beyond. Please go to Brides and Grooms for all your dress needs! You will not be disappointed!

The ladies were amazingly helpful and patient! They saw my vision and delivered exactly what I wanted with the perfect alterations. We even found a beautiful dress for my mother as well. Dress shopping can be so stressful but they took that stress away!! Thank you so much 🥰

I can not say enough good things about this shop!! I LOVED every single dress I tried on, the owner listened to what I was looking for and I ended up getting the dress that she chose for me to try on. Planning a wedding during Covid came with so much stress but this bridal shop kept me at ease the entire process, the alterations were perfect, the customer service is beyond 5 stars, they really gave me the perfect experience. I HIGHLY recommend them to any bride!

To start my bridesmaids and I had a TERRIBLE experience at David’s bridal a few weeks ago and one of my bridesmaids had been here recently and suggested we try it. I had high hopes And expections going into this appointment and Let me just say this was exactly what we wanted and expected out of a bridal appointment!!!! Melissa was AMAZING!!! She picked out dresses for me while my bridesmaids and I picked out theirs, there were 6 of us total and 4 getting dresses and Melissa was so patient, kind and helpful! From the moment we walked in ! They were so friendly !! I wasn’t pressured into buying anything and was able to enjoy the experience of this special time and I appreciated that the most ! ESP given my prior experience at David’s was very pressured and rushed. Today I got to say “yes to the dress” as well as my bridesmaids and today was an awesome, fun and exciting memory for us and I can’t thank Melissa enough for being so freakin awesome to all of us and helping this day be so special!!! I really can’t thank you enough .

They worked extremely hard to get my dress to me in time during this whole pandemic. Extremely nice and welcoming! Was a wonderful experience and the owner is amazing at picking out a dress that compliments you and your vision. Extremely happy!

Marie is amazing! She actually found the dress for me after just a few questions.. Dress arrived in record time and she was amazing with alterations and entire process. I highly recommend this business for formal wear, a priceless experience, and exceptional service from all the staff.

They were amazing! I loved my dress! I got fabric for them to add sleeves to my wedding gown and it turned out beautiful. My husband and his groomsmen’s tuxes turned out great as well. They made sure I was happy and satisfied with everything and very flexible with my schedule. I definitely recommend coming here for any dress/tux needs!

Faith was my assistant and she was absolutely amazing. She found me the dress I didnt know I was looking for and I said yes to the dress! The selection was fantastic, they had 15+ dresses in the style I wanted. Marie was there as well and was so thoughtful and helpful. These ladies gave me the best experience a bride could ever want and a great price to top it off. I will send all my friends their direction. 5/5 stars all the way.

Can I give 10 stars? I would love too!I was greeted immediately when I entered by a very friendly associate who was so eager to help. She asked be do describe what I was looking for and also welcomed me to look through the dresses as well. Every dress they selected matched what I described.I found a wedding dress I loved within 20 minutes. I felt like I was the only person in the store even though there were at least 5 other customers. Everyone that worked there was so eager to help me try on the dress and help make wise decisions on alterations.Alterations were done within 48 hours perfectly! I took a long floor length gown to a knee length dress.

We have not as yet, had our experience with you, however, every time we are out, we window shop. The dresses in the windows of the competitors is always so dull and way too old fashion, and your display is always exactly what I love and expected the displays to look for. So as I am about to plan my wedding, Im choosing you, and look forward to working with you.

Wedding dress shopping and alterations here were great!! They were so patient and gave so many options for how we could change the dress to what I wanted. Alterations were so smooth, they made as many appointments as I needed, and made all the changes down to the week off with no stress.

Enjoyed my experience at Brides and Grooms, especially having the opportunity to watch my beautiful daughter try on gowns. Our specialist was very helpful and kept in mind my daughters budget, as well as her attention to detail of what she wanted and didnt want to try in a dress. She pulled one that my daughter wasnt considering because it was plain with not much detail but we actually fell in love with that one. So when trying on dresses in my opinion its ideal to keep an open mind since they are the specialist and can give advice when needed, which I liked and not just pushy to make a sale. There are dresses that arent right for every shape so listen to your specialist and consider their expertise. I anticipate the day my daughter ultimately says yes to the dress.

Cannot say enough great things about my experiences with brides and grooms. From finding my dream dress within a very reasonable budget with the help of Faith and Maria, and then having the seamstress expertly add further beading, a nice and neat bustle, and the perfect hem... this store is a diamond in the rough. Huge selection and an excellent staff. Not to mention the great discount all of my bridesmaids had since I purchased the dress there! It worked out flawlessly! Beautiful does not begin to describe how the dress made me feel every time I came in to try it on and to then wear on my big day! Thank you so much brides and grooms!!!!

I worked with Faith to find my wedding dress and she was absolutely AMAZING! From the minute we walked into the store she was attentive and patient. She let me try on as many dresses as I needed to until I found the one two and a half hours later! I am SO thankful to her and the Brides and Grooms staff for making me feel amazing. Definitely give this place a chance-- I can see how it could get busy because it is a small store, but these ladies really know how to work with their customers. Totally worth it!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Completely screwed up everyone’s measurements, no one was even close to the right size. I’m having to pay more money for alterations than I had to pay for the dress itself because not a single part of the dress fits me. I could fit two people in this dress. I am having to get the dress remade because it is so far off. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Horrible experience from start to finish. Go ANYWHERE else!!!

Brides & Grooms is the BEST bridal store in the area! I have ordered dresses for 9 weddings from them, including my own bridal gown. All of my maids ordered through them as well. I have never had an issue with orders (for me or friends) and they do wonderful alterations. Yong and Marie run an amazing store and they are always willing to give you the best price for dresses and alterations. They are quick, reliable, and affordable. Our relationship extends over 9 years now, and I will NEVER recommend a different store.... they truly are THE BEST!!

Ruined my wedding experience. 3/4 girls in bridal party had severe dress issues, including the Bride. Sold us the dress and then treated us with nothing but disrespect. It’s 2 weeks before our wedding and one of my bridesmaids dresses still isn’t in, and my wedding dress has holes they say they can’t be expected to fix($450 for alterations). We are literally having to buy another dress so we can file a lawsuit. They should be ashamed!

Best wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses and staff!!! This is definitely the best one in the tri-state area and I definitely tried them all. It was such an easy experience here. I worked with Faith and she knew exactly what I wanted! All of the women were so helpful with my million questions. I would RECOMMEND Brides and Grooms for weddings, prom, and homecomings! Such a knowledgable staff, helpful in all ways. They altered my wedding dress perfectly and quick!!!! My mom had her dress bought and altered here almost 25 years ago and its just as great as it use to be.

Finding my wedding dress was easy. Now the alterations is a different story. Found out the morning of my wedding that my daughters flower girl dress still had sewing pins in it from the alterations! No one even bothered cutting the extra length off the bottom of the dress or even bothered to look when they “stem pressed” it the couple days before. Was told no refunds on the dress even though she couldn’t wear it and no refund on the “hemming” that supposedly done. Very disappointed!!

Nicole was my sales person and I loved her! Her big fun personality fit right along with mine and she ended up picking my gorgeous wedding dress. I cant wait to wear it next year! I thought this place was great. I am a plus sized gal and they had a great selection to try on, I felt right at home there. Nicole was so fun and excited to help me it made me feel awesome. I have been going to Brides and grooms since high school (and have been referring people there since) and I will NEVER go again. I dont know what happened in the last two years but it has gone so downhill. EVERY SINGLE bridesmaid dress was ordered TOO BIG - the whole dresses run smaller is BULL CRAP! My entire parties dresses and tuxes were wrong (thankfully, my dress was good) - but when you spend THOUSANDS of dollars in one shop for every piece of formal wear for a wedding - you expect better service. When confronted about the dress sizes, I was told oh the girls are overreacting, they arent that big.... After speaking to others who had their bridesmaids dresses there - and hearing they had the same issue - We all FULLY BELIEVE it is a SCHEME to get more money by way of alterations!!!!!!!!Not to mention, when measured for tuxes - we got told the pants were slim fit and even though she measured my father as a 38 waist (he wears a 32 waist pant) she ensured us that she was right in her measurements and the pants were slim fit. Let me tell you, he couldve fit a PUMPKIN in his pants and when they ordered new ones, they were the SAME ONES - the girl did not order new pants. It was INFURIATING. When my brother tried his on that same girl was so rude when we said the tux wash;t right and said whats wrong with THIS tux like it was OUR FAULT SHE CANT MEASURE CORRECTLY! Incompetence!!!DO NOT GO HERE for anything!!!!!!!! Unless you want to spend DOUBLE on bridesmaid dresses. This shop made something that shouldve been the easiest part SO DIFFICULT, stressful, and RUINED the experience for me!!!

The dresses were beautiful, but the staff was almost entirely unhelpful. They offered almost no help what so ever. Would not reccommend.

I was recommended to Brides and Grooms for an upcoming banquet. I had never heard of the store before that. My husband and I went in to order a tuxedo for him and I happened to find a gown. I had been looking for a gown for months and could not find anything that I liked let alone loved. I walked in this store and found a gown and instantly fell in love with it. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. I was so impressed with their stock I know that without a doubt this will be my new gown store. My daughter will be going on her prom this year and she will be getting her gown from Brides and Grooms. If you havent gone in go in you wont be disappointed. The large array of gowns are sure to please.

The selection is wonderful! The prices are very competitive. The quality of the dresses are better than davids bridals. I think the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very comfortable. They offered us a beverage. If there were to be any critique, they could help just a little more with the trying on and re-hanging of dresses. These ladies were on point otherwise! Keep up the great work ladies.

Faith was so AMAZING! I am from Arizona and I had to go dress shopping here without my mom or my bridesmaids and Faith made it feel just as good! She even took pictures to send my mom while I tried on dresses! The third dress she put me in was THE ONE and it fit like dream! Im curvy so that is difficult to do!Faith was so nice and let me stay in it and walk around and admire it for as long as I wanted! Every person I came into contact with was nice and treated me like they genuinely cared about my experience. I dont understand how anyone could write a bad review here! Thank you Faith, for finding my beautiful dress! I cant wait to walk down the isle in it in a few months!

Staff was friendly and helpful both times that Ive been to the store. Im giving a 4 out of 5 stars because I placed my order in January and was not notified that my dressed wasnt put through to order until I called earlier this week (Feb 28). I was told it is because the other young woman who is in the same wedding did not place her order yet and they order them together. This is upsetting because I would not have placed my order and paid in full without hers had I have known this.

Dont write a check to this company. They lost my 400$ check. All the owner could say is sorry when do you want to bring us 400$ for your dress? The owner offered no compensation for the trouble of me paying a stop payment fee and having to close my account. No one would accept blame they pinneed it on each other. It has been since June and they still have not found my check.

I made an appointment to find the wedding dress of my dreams. I didnt have the associates undivided attention at any point during my appointment. When I came out of the dressing room with a dress on the associate was nowhere to be found. When I was telling her what style I wanted to try she was pulling dresses that did not fit the criteria I had described. My bridesmaids were pulling dresses for me to try because the associate did not do a good job. Finding the perfect wedding dress should be a magical experience. My experience here was less than perfect. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Needless to say I did not buy my wedding dress here.

Amazing!! My appointment was everything I could have wanted, faith was such a sweetheart and the best consultant! They have a GREAT selection of dresses and “my dress” ended up being the second one she pulled! Highly, highly recommend!

Faith made this experience absolutely magical for me and my family! I was a little disappointed that the dresses I had looked up online were unavailable on the day of my appointment, BUT they got an idea of the style I was going for and picked the most amazing dresses. I ended finding my dress on the first day, and I am absolutely in love with it (better than any of the ones I had picked out). It was cozy and the staff was friendly, happy to help, made suggestions and answered all my questions. I would use them again and recommend them in a heartbeat! If you are a little nervous, I would just call them in advance with the style# of the dress you want to try on, and they can tell you if they have it available. You can also make appointments, to make sure someone is available to help you.

NICOLE is the reason for my amazing experience at Brides and Grooms!!! She is such a sweet caring down to earth person. So willing to help and go over and beyond for the brides and party. You can tell she has a passion for what she does it shows in more ways then one.

Horrible place and customer service. We got 5 bridesmaid dresses from here everyone had to be altered and fixed. All but one had to go back about 4-5 times and still at the end of it none of the dresses fit correctly. One dress was completely ruined, she had to go buy a new dress the day before the wedding from Davids bridal and it fit perfect with no alterations. The management and alteration people are so rude and unprofessional, they refused to give any money back after ruining expensive dresses and paying for many alterations that still werent correct. It was a horrible experience and they should not be in business.

Like other customers the shopping experience was great! They were very helpful finding dresses that were within our color pallet but the alteration experience was terrible. I didnt receive my dress until the week of my friends wedding-I understand there was some miscommunication but the first time I went in it was never altered and the second time it was altered but strap loops were missing. I would not recommend getting your dresses altered there. There is poor communication between the two entities.

An absolutely phenomenal experience!! Only my second time trying on dresses with really no idea of what I wanted. Faith was amazing in her knowledge of the dresses and designers as well as advice on what I should try on. She helped me narrow down what seemed to be an overwhelming number of dresses to two! Now I have the tough decision of which one to pick but her help made the experience so much more fun and not stressful like I thought and heard it would be. Hope to go back there for mother of the bride and bridesmaid dresses!!

Got 7 bridesmaids dresses, 1 bridal gown and two flower girls dresses. 2 bridesmaids dresses had holes in them and flower girl dress had pins in it instead of being it and stuck her during wedding. Charged me for hemming, havent called me back about it after 5 days and manager says sorry only. Obviouly flower girl couldnt walk in it.

I had two bridal appointments at this salon. I was hesitant to go here period because on the outside it doesn’t look very appealing. But do NOT let that deceive you. I went to many bridal appointments all around Delaware and the Pennsylvania area, and this stores selection truly blew me away. My first appointment was with Moriah who was an absolute doll. She pulled gorgeous dresses and helped me decide between the silhouettes I was looking for. My second appointment was with Faith, and let me tell you, these ladies did not dissapoint. I had looked at so many dresses and wasn’t finding what I was looking for anywhere—until Faith pulled a gorgeous dress that had just come in that day. I’m so grateful for the experience I had with these two incredible consultants. They will make you feel so comfortable and at ease! I can’t speak to the alterations as I haven’t purchased yet, but so far the staff has been incredible!

I seriously cant say enough about the ladies at this shop! We used them for my bestfriends wedding dress and all our bridesmaids dresses. Then a few months later we back for my dress and bridesmaids. I ended up being stuck between 2 ceremony dresses and a reception dress. Me being a mess, I went a bought all 3 dresses!!! After deciding to go with 1 for the ceremony and 1 for the reception they even allowed me to return the stock dress I bought and applied my refund to all my alterations and my daughters bridesmaids dress. They always made me feel so amazing and helped with all my crazy requests. Afterwards my niece even went back and bought her sweet 16 dress there. Marie and sabrina were my bridal dress gods and I cant thank them enough for everything they did for me. You ladies are the best xoxoxo .

I would give it 0 stars if I could. We had an appointment but they continued to help people who did not and left us to fend for ourselves. I had to stand in the doorway of the dressing room to see my daughter try on dresses. Not only would I never shop here again, I will go out of my way to tell people how horrible our experience was.

I wanted something a little more modern and unique for a wedding dress and I looked in 6 other stores in the area with NO LUCK! I came here on a holiday when it was VERY busy so I did wait a few minutes but had time to look through the dresses. Cathy came to me and made me feel so comfortable! She helped me find my DREAM DRESS!!! She was the only consultant I worked with in all my time shopping that really cared what I wanted and listened to me. The owner gave me a discount on the alterations and I left with my dress in hand. I really had a wonderful experience here. If you go, ask for Cathy...she was their gem :)

Horrible experience. They lost my dress and would not give me a credit towards another dress. They were unwilling to work with me telling me it has been “too long” and my dress may have been donated. I never got a call informing me that if I don’t pick it up they were going to get rid of it or to check if I still wanted it. You’d think putting over a $600 deposit that you would at least get a courtesy call. Instead they told me that their obligation is only to call me when my dress came in. Of course I would have loved to have my wedding at my original planned date but sometimes things happen and they were very unsympathetic and unwilling to work with me at all. I would not recommend this place. Take your money somewhere else.

I went to this place looking for a dress and I found it very Do it yourself attitude and no help was really given to me even though I had an appointment. Go here you know if: you have the time to look though the hundreds of dresses, have a high budget, have someone that will help you into your dress, isnt your first time trying on dresses.Heres my story:I made an appointment and when I got there 20 minutes before no one was at the front desk. After waiting for about 8 minutes I decided to go looking with my mom at some dresses. I got a few that were in my price range and stood at the front desk again. After it was 1pm, my appointment time, I decided that I would go to the back of the store to the fitting rooms and hopefully find someone who worked there to further assist me. I met a young lady and I told her I had an appointment at 1pm. She led me to a room and told me that if I needed anything I could ask and she left.I had been to a bridal dress fitting just the day before, which had been my first one, and they had helped me into my dress so I was shocked that I had to manage alone. Thankfully my mother was there so I suppose their unwritten policy must be that if I bring someone with me that they need to help me into the dresses I choose. So I tried on a few dresses with my mothers help. None really fit well so then another woman knocks on my door and says that she didnt know I was there and if I needed anything to let her know and then also left right after she offered. Shortly later the first lady came back and asked if I needed more dresses and that I can go out and choose some and bring them back or if I wanted I could have her help me. I didnt know it was so DIY. So after asking if she could help me we both headed out to the sea of dresses. She didnt ask my size or budget and I was so overwhelmed it didnt come to mind to inform her. So most that she chose were 500-800 over my budget so I didnt want to try them on and the ones that were near my budget were way too small. Overall at the end they gave me a card to fill out with the dresses I liked. No one was around for me to ask what exactly I had to fill out on the card with respect to the dress information, so I did the best I could. I handed it to the front desk which was the first lady I had spoken to but I dont know if they filed it away or not, she simply took it and asked for the next person in line.

This place is amazing! I have to say Ive never received better service than I did here. I got my senior prom gown from here and when the order came in, the dress company messed up my dress. The alterations consisted of unbeading an entire section of my dress and having to re bead it all over again and they fixed it for me for free. Most places would charge because it wasnt the stores fault but they did so much work for me and everything was always in or done early and every time I was there they were extremely helpful, honest, and understanding. I hope they are still around when I get married many many many years from now.

The experience of buying the dress was great, everyone there was very helpful. However the alteration part was a disaster. All of the bridesmaids had to go back at least 2 to 3 times to get things fixed. The seamstress is very rushed everytime she comes out to pin or do anything to the dress. She would quickly pin and run off without listening to your concerns. One bridesmaid is now sewing her dress herself at her house and another left without being satisfied. She was told the part that bothered her wouldnt be seen and it was brushed off and to use double sided tape to fix the other part. They were not accommodating at all or offered to fix the problems. I do recommend buying a dress there but DO NOT get alterations there!

I love BRIDES AND GROOMS....i got my gown and bridesmaids dresses from there and my wedding was beautiful. about the sizes....when you order for a dress, according to your measurements and our varying body shapes, you are most likely to have alterations done. I am a size ten but i have a big bust so the size 10 dresses cant fit my bust though they are perfect else where, so i end up going a size over then get alterations done. some people have small busts and waists but wide hips...basically that is what causes the alterations. BUT if you are looking for good quality dresses...please dont hesitate! these guys work with so many websites to deliver to you a perfect dress! TOTALLY WORTH A TRY!!!!

I am a bride who just got married on Saturday September 28th 2019. I purchased my wedding dress from brides and grooms. Let me just say that my entire experience was above and beyond what I couldve ever imagine. I called the store in a frenzy because the first shop I went to I was very skeptical on there contract and purchasing from them. Marie calmed me down immediately and told me she would work with me if I came in and tried on some dresses. I went in and was greated by the most personable staff and they found my dream dress! I fell in love immediately. They worked so hard to make sure that I could have this dress for the budget I needed to stay in. They even included the alterations in my total price. I am so thankful for marie and the staff each fitting was a wonderful fun experience. My dress was a huge hit at my wedding and I didnt ever want to take it off. Thank you so much marie and staff! Tried a Maggie Sottero gown on at another boutique, after finding out the dress would not arrive on time i called Brides and Grooms for help. I felt so confident when Courtney & Nichole walked me through purchasing a new gown. Alterations were wonderful also after my picky request. So glad i found brides and grooms

I refuse to go back. From body-shaming to being noisy when discussing pros and cons of each dress. No sales consultant should ever tell a person you have big ribs or you wont be able to eat for 2 months if you get that size. Ladies, be confident in who you are and go somewhere else.

I absolutely love Marie! She takes pride in the shop that her mother built and passed down to her! If you set up an appointment with this bridal shop, please be sure to have Marie as your consultant...no one else will do! No one else is as passionate or as invested in the brides/bridesmaids or the success of the bridal shop as she is ! I have read other reviews about the shop...bad reviews surrounding horrible customer service...this is mostly due to other consultants that arent as passionate as Marie! Please go to brides and grooms and set up an appointment with Marie!!!

Absolutely no help at all. We were prepared to spend thousands in this store. Every associate we asked a question to, walked away with no return. Trying on gowns is a complete waste of time. Uneducated employees dont know products. Every other answer was I dont knowDont waste your time. Youll only have an upset bride. No point on making an appointment, because no one will help you anyway.

Hi I’ve search high and low for formal gowns for a couple of formal occasions! All I can say is I’m glad I remembered this place existed! I searched near and far only to find what I wanted in my “own back yard” lol ! Not only did I find what I wanted but the staff was very friendly and helpful! What good is it to shop somewhere with good but but bad customer service? Welp I received the best of both worlds great product and service! If you want beautiful quality formal wear may I suggest “Brides & Grooms, Inc. At least now I know for my next formal occasion I won’t have to go far!! They have a huge selection to choose from and the girls are helpful. You can walk in anytime but make an appointment if you want personalized help finding the right look.

I was pleasantly surprised after reading bad reviews, but to my surprise I found the dress I wanted !!! Actually it was the first that was pulled for me and I loved it tried on 15 dresses and I still came back to the 1st one . Moriah was nice patient and not pushy and very helpful

I went to Brides and Grooms and was impressed with the quality and selection of dresses. I tried on several and found the perfect dress. Due to time constraints, I was advised to buy off the rack. The dress was a size 12 and I wear a 2. The owner assured me it could be altered and would look great. So I put a $400 deposit on it and came back 6 weeks later for my first fitting. When the seamstress started working on it she said it would not look right and probably wouldnt work. She even suggested looking for something closer to my size off the rack. So the owner pulled her and asked another seamstress to work on me and even she seemed doubtful, but agreed with the owner. She said it would take 3 alterations but they would make it work. The owner assured it would be perfect, so I trusted her judgement, but when I went to pay for the alterations, the cost was $450! So I decided not to buy the dress since there was no guarantee it would even look right after being altered and the alterations would cost more than half the cost of dress. I then asked for my deposit back, and they refused to give it back. Even though they were going to put it right back on the rack (and it was one of their more popular dresses). So I was out $400 and lost 6 weeks of dress shopping. I also asked 2 reputable seamstresses and they agreed that you cannot take a dress from a 12 to a 2. I wonder how many other deposits theyve kept knowing that you cannot alter dresses down more than 2 sizes. I would not recommend purchasing from them. I ended up buying a dress online by the same manufacturer for less than the cost of their alterations and it was my exact size. I only needed minor alterations done for $80.

Dont ever go there!!! Wish I had read the comments before going there. Over priced and alterations are out of this world horrible and 1/2 the price of the dresses. Dresses came in 3 days before wedding which caused a lot of anxiety and stress without an apology. Alterations had to be done twice. No room to walk around in store or to have privacy in fitting rooms. Dirty store. A lot of help during picking out of dresses but once deposit was made No customer service help.

Wow is all I can say dont even waste your time. I walked in and wasnt even greeted the women at the counter just looked at me and not in a pleasant way and turned her back to me to fix something on the display behind her.So I looked around myself found a few dresses to try on asked a lady back by the fitting rooms if it was okay to go in. She was friendly enough and cleared some dresses out of one and told me to go ahead but offered no further help. So the few I found myself were no gos. I went back out and was ignored yet again, there was an employee that didnt have anyone but still no help. Coming from davids bridal where they were just amazing to here was just awful. Plus the prices seemed a little over priced, thats usually the case with small locally owned and I have nothing against that but no one wants to feel like there over paying for a wedding dress. I have a budget but its not a cheap budget by any means. Ill just be taking my business to davids bridal. The sad thing is I went here two years ago to get my bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding and everything went great thats why I wanted to go back. Now I wont be back period.

Customer service sucks. There should be no reason for me to have to walk around the store a pull my own dresses because the sales girl is lazy and dont listen. Nobody pays you any attention unless they know you will be spending money. They think its ok to keep passing you offf to someone different multiple times in one visit, they lie and are extremely rude. I will never ever spend money at this place again, they have nice dresses but the customer service is a deal breaker. Also its unprofessional to talk trash about the people you work with in front of your customers. Even the manager talked negative abt one of the girls to another right in my face, unacceptable!

I give this boutique a 2 becuase my sales person, Britney was extremely helpful the first day I walked into the store but that all quickly changed when I dealt with muktiple sales asaociates there after. I am a bride and Britney was nice enough to help me with my dress selection and was very friendly. I actually bought 2 dresses (ceremony &reception) dress right off the racks. She was helpful that particular day but then things made an unexpected turn when I returned with my bridalParty. I tried on my dresses just before closing that day so they could all ohh and ahh and my mother in law noticed the sales associates were in such a rush to get out the store that they tirned off the lights on us after I came out the fitting room. Rude! After ordering, I called to inquire about my bridal party, she gave me the expectation that she would call me back to resolve my concerns at the end of business becauss sha had a bride in front of her and instead she did not follow through. (Poor business etiquette). When itwas time for my bridesmaids to purchase their dresses. My Matron if Honor ordered her dress in February this year and paid her deposit as requested, the remainder of the bridal party came in April 4th and got measured, paid deposits and I was assured orders would go out that Monday. So I called and they in fact said they were doing the order. We called in May, to have the Maid of honors dress ordered only to find that they incorrectly ordered a bridesmaid dress. While they agreed to eat the cost and order another dress the estimated delivery date went from 3-4 months to about 6 months (in total) from the date the bridesmaid had originally ordered her dress. When I called this week, I spoke with Nicole about the status of our dresses and she was rude at firt. She later toned things down when I explained how many issies we had. She proceeded to blame other employees and states she had been there 9 years etc. (but why cant you all reaolve my issues efficiently). Some of associates are totally unprofessional and throw each other under the bus (pointing fingers) rather then being accountable for the errors collectively. Nicole went from saying 1 dress was in a month ago to oh no its not in at all. She then said the dresses are expected in August or September, then said oh no they should be shipping in 10 days. So when will we have all of our dresses that we have PAID deposits for 4 months ago! No one is accountable. So my MOH who ordered in February now has to wait until August/September to get her dress. (Meanwhile we may need alterations) They are dragging their feet and rather then calling the conpany and getting this sorted out, they are busy blaming each other, not returning phone calls and arguing wih clients on the phone. This is an unacceptable timeframe, poor behavior and they will not own up to THEIR MISTAKES. I asked for the manager and oh, she is on vacation and leaves no one in charge..Really! So I am told to call in a week when she returns. Their communication stinks, no one knows whos hand was last in your envelope and then they tell you dresses were ordered on a certain date and have arrived, just to call back and say no they havent arrived. (But they have your money). Dresses should NOT take 5-6 months to come in! Not to mention they ordered the wrong dress for a bridesmaid and had to reorder the dress (which is coming in later then expected). I bought TWO wedding dresses from them plus 5 members of the bridal party paid deposits for dresses. All the money they got they should be recovering by rushing our dresses! Huge inconvenience, poor customer service & way to increase the brides stress! BUYER BEWARE!

If i could go back and order the my wedding dress somewhere else, i would!The whole finding my dress there experience was great and the lady that helped me was wonderful.. shes the one who actually found my dress for me. I went back a month later and they informed me she no longer worked there. Then i referred my friend to the store and when she went they offered her a deal a free veil and shoes or 10% off of her dress.. she picked the 10% and got her dress for a great deal. I called back after i had made my deposit and told them that they never offered me this deal and the owner asked me what brand name my dress was. I told her it was a maggie sottero and she proceeded to tell me thats the only designer they dont offer this deal to..... Little did she know i caught her in a lie because my friend who got the deal ALSO bought a maggie sottero dress.. When i told the owner this, she said there was nothing she could do and i couldnt cancel my order and get my money back because they already placed the order. I then told her i was very displeased and when i called earlier 2 saleswomen told me since i did not get the 10% off offered to me when i came in to pay the remainder of my balance, I would get a free veil or shoes or a credit of $150 off.. When i told the owner this she proceeded tell me they will not do that nor will i get a credit for the veil i ALREADY bought.After a LONG argument and going back and forth i finally got them to take the $150 off my remaining balance but am still dissapointed that i could have saved almost $300 on everything i bought if they would have given me the deal that they gave other people.Wedding dress shopping is suppose to be fun and exciting and it was nothing but stress after i ordered from this place. I got my dress and will not EVER be back!

Where do I start! My sister used Brides and Grooms for her bridesmaids dresses. After we all paid and 8 weeks passes, my sister called to see if the dresses were in. Well, they were never ordered and the owner was blaming us for not paying. Once they realized we did pay they ordered the dresses with no apologies! They came in and I decided to have my alterations done there to make it easy. I needed quite a bit taken off the bottom and I wanted fabric added to the bust. I was told it would not be a problem and paid $120.00 to have this done. When I went to picked up the dress there was no fabric added to the bust. The owner immediately blamed me saying I didnt ask for it. I took the receipt that was stapled to the plastic over the dress and showed her where it was written on there. Why woudl I pay $120 for just a hem!!!!!!!!!!! After arguing for about 2 minutes she agreed to find the matching fabric and told me to come back in a week and it would be done. I went back and NOTHING was done! I didnt even get a call sayinig they couldnt find matching fabric to add to the bust! They threw out the fabric from the bottom of the dress and now they couldnt fix it. Another employee ended up altering the top of the dress so my bust wasnt overflowing and of course the owner was magically not there when I went to pick it up. I asked for a refund on the alterations and was denied! Also, the stitching where she altered the dress ripped before I even made it to the ceremony. I had to safety pin the dress! What a nightmare! I complained again and was denied any refund! So...I paid $120 to have no fabric added and to have what they did do rip! The owner is very unreasonable and very unpleasant! I woul NEVER recommend this store to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Making a mistake is one thing but not owning up to and trying to make it right is another. Horrible business practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Company and salespersons are incompetent and refuse to assist customers on late orders. Only one person can do returns and if shes not here no one is trained to process them. They do not care if a week before a wedding they have no clue if a dress will be in the store on time. I find their customer service ridiculous and unprofessional.

My experience with this business was horrible I had 10+ groomsmen and almost every suit was improperly fitted so bad that I had to wait in the state till after 12 noon on my day and my wedding was in Nj waiting for my sons tux and you wouldnt believe these unprofessional people forgot the tie to his suit after all that and had to bring it to the venue gave my dad my brother suit and when it was all over demanded we bring back the suit the next day instead of leaving for our honeymoon lost money on our suit the night before and ran my whole wedding behind they gave me a refund for one suit and told me next event that required a tux we would get 1/2 off then got amnesia when we tried to remind them ...they are horribly unprofessional and overpriced go somewhere else period
