We visited the restaurant while in Andros. Long story short, the best one I tried while there. We got:1) Smoked fish: Very tasty2) Taramas trilogy: Classic, with cuttlefish ink and with shrimp. Very nice ideas and execution3) Leafy greens: Tasty!4) Cod fish balls with extremely tasty sauce: Must try5) Crayfish risotto6) Sea bream fricassee: My main dish choice which I really enjoyedSome details could be improved to reach perfection. I would also visit the Athenian counterpart. One advice though:Guys, you are trying to be a fine dining establishment. Please stop playing Greek folk music so loud. It ruins the vibe! Otherwise, a must try if in Batsi

Good portions however the risotto was very poorly prepared, with overcooked shrimp and a rice that even with naturally salty roe was not seasoned. Bread was stale. Apart from that, appetizers were great (calamari with garlic dip especially).

A happy discovery was the Mastello restaurant in Batsi. from appetizers to main courses the choice is varied and of quality. in particular we tasted barley with grouper head and neck: a new and very good taste. during our stay in Batsi this will be our reference restaurant

Its quite difficult these days to taste food for Gods.This place is exactly giving you this feeling...Fresh, well served food, amazing tasted not common a really worth to visit and enjoy... at the end you left with a memorable thinking to get back as soon as possible!!!

Great location on the shore front. The food was good. A bit pricey compared to other restaurants which were just as good or better. When I asked to change the fries to some vegetables they would not do it. Most restaurants will change for the customer. That made me angry. We had fish which was good and chicken. Most of the appitizers were fried so I had only a few options. The service was good. I would pass there are better places worth the price

Excellent service and excellent quality of food. Great location and great prices. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and well priced. Everything was very clean, on time and tasteful, interesting flavours! Highly recommended!

The food was fine but small, the place is pretty nice but the service was poor and when my brother asked to add minth to his drink the waiter say no, I am coming from the restaurant industry and if the customer want even if its not the most tradition the waiter dont need to laugh

Delicious Greek dishes served by friendly staff. We dined at Mastello twice during our stay on Andros. The restaurant has views across Batsi Bay and is a great spot to sit and enjoy delicious food.

The service here is great, the food is average at best and the wine is awful. Very popular with tourists though. My opinion is to go elsewhere as it is not cheap.

I didnt eat here (yet), but great atmosphere and protected from the wind, mercifully. Great boss, Steve and quality staff. Great for families and kids and the food does look good. Price and value is relative, so I know some people are saying its expensive, but you are on holiday and the Greeks need money so spend!

One of the best places to eat in Batsi. Greek cuisine with a twist in a relaxing seaside atmosphere. There are some interesting fish dishes that you dont easily find in other places. The prices are ok, some dishes seem overpriced (small tomato salad was €8) but others are great value (ex: fish rizoto).

Very nice shop. Nice food for lovers of alternative seafood and more. You will find everything.The service is perfect as it should be in such a good store.At the waiters suggestion we got tartar, steamed mussels, tomato salad with melon and pastel, Andros cheese with grape jam and barley with crayfish (get it).I recommend you to visit it.

Experience! From the reception until the last bite and then you want again from the beginning! Professionalism, courtesy, respect for the customer unique dishes that you will not find anywhere else. Music is a bit, but it does not matter so much in such an environment! Worth!

Very special! Teased seafood dishes, the most delicious I have ever eaten is pastitsada! Very good and the cheese volaki with crust! Prices a bit stingy. Gentle staff and prompt service. It is good to have booked the day before.

Very careful food and excellent flavors. Polite personnel. I suggest squid, shrimp croquettes, cod with black garlic. The risotto had a little more lemon.

5 stars because I can not put more. I usually do not leave reviews but after my visit to this restaurant, I could not ignore to evaluate it. My friends and I ordered volaki cheese with sweet grapes, fried octopus, fried squid with black garlic and spicy chili sauce, risotto with dried figs and roe. The dishes were excellent both in quantity and quality, one by one. The staff was very friendly and, especially Mr. Dionysis was very helpful, being knowledgeable about the cuisine. We will definitely visit it again in Athens, but also in Andros. I highly recommend it.

High rating for the good food and the excellent service of Ornela! Cod with garlic cream very good, risotto with shrimp and barley with crayfish very tasty, if you like lemon, volaki with grapes sweet good, Mastelo salad nothing memorable and good white carafe wine. The ekmek katafi is very good! The musical choice is absolutely bad: a potpourri of skyladika-laika in second performances !!! Unbearable and completely incompatible with the dishes served! Finally, although we booked a table 3 days ago, they put us in a minimum, where the food did not fit, no matter how good your mood!

We ordered a Greek salad, risotto with crayfish and sautéed shrimp with black garlic. The vegetables in the salad were fresh and very tasty, the shrimp were perfectly sautéed and the biscuits were rich in flavor. The crayfish were butter and the risotto perfectly tied with parmesan. Very nice location and very good prices for the quality it offers. Was the staff helpful enough but rather tired?

By the sea (it also has some tables on the beach) and dream food. Volaki cheese with sweet grapes was for us the dish of the year. For the staff, whatever we say was a little as the team beyond its professional made us feel at home.

Great shop with probably the best food in the area. We went 2 people last night and got 1 shrimp seviste that was served with tomato, a loaf of Andros local cheese, 1 magical fricassee, and 1 crayfish barley.All the flavors were special and we were very happy! Also quite helpful staff..we were also offered white wine that matched the dishes very well ..We will be back soon and I highly recommend it!

Overpriced. The availability, the reservation and the presence of the customers are difficult and in shifts, for example only 8-10 pm, 8.30 -10.30. Particular lack of elasticity in. Simple changes in dishes. Mandatory choice for some good food in Batsi.

Neat space, good location, the dishes in general were nice tasting except the barley which was watery !!!!Also a very good dish for the main is the rofos with okra in the hull !!!!

If you are vacationing in Andros, you should definitely visit Batsi and eat in Mastelo. Everything is perfect. From the reception the service the incredible flavors. Awesome quality.And the prices are good in relation to what they offer you. I highly recommend.

Great place for dinner in Batsi in Andros. All dishes were very good, very good quality and the portions were filling. Very interesting suggestions and flavor combinations! Very wide variety of seafood dishes. The service impeccable, very fast service, helpful and friendly staff! Perhaps the most interesting thing about Batsi is food! Everything was great I would definitely recommend the dish with octopus and tomato jam as an appetizer!

It left us the best impression compared to all the other restaurants we visited in Andros.The fried octopus with tomato jam is incredible. Delicious!The waiters are very eager and smiling. Well done for everything, for the wonderful cuisine but also for the staff you have chosen!

Satisfied with the quality, the service and of course the environment! I would put 5 stars gt although expensive as a restaurant, it should have slightly larger portions. The fish we ate excellent roasting.
