Super clean . Always quick service. Fresh produce

I LIKE THAT THIS STORE IS HIGHLY ORGANIZED, HAS FRIENDLY STAFF AND MOST THINGS YOU NEED FROM THE SUPERMARKET. HOWEVER THE MEAT, THE CHICKEN SPECIFICALLY, PROBABLY NEEDS A PRICE REDUCTION SO PEOPLE CAN BUY IT OUT FASTER, BECAUSE I GOT A LOT OF CHICKEN FROM THERE AND GOT HOME, WITH A PACK OF CHICKEN WITH EXTREME FOUL ODER, AND I DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT PART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They remodel Clean polite cashiers nice neighborhood supermarket.

Another hidden gem. Clean, fresh produce not alot of variety but quality products. Everytime Ive been, there was no line.

I love the way the staff and manager is always helpful in assisting you to find the things you need they are courteous and professional the prices on there foods & things are such a bargain they also provide you with transportation free because you purchased to much groceries Keep up the excellent work CTown on Clinton Ave and Thomas Street in Newark NJ.

Convenient and quick but ⚠️ check the expiration dates on things at this location, they tend to put things on sale that are soon to go bad.

This place needs some serious work. Its not very clean, there is always a funny smell as you walk in. They are pricey. I stop to get plantains, but thats about it. I will not do a full grocery shopping list from here

It doesnt restock as frequently as it should. Some of the employees take turn working 1 register. I think they make people work there that are from Mexico for free . To pay off coyotes

They have remodeled the store and updated some of the shopping areas. C Town is good for those hard to find items from back home. My only complaint is their fruit selection isnt always the best.

C-town pretty much serves its purpose. Does it have as many choices as Shop-rite? No. But im glad its here, as it is pretty much the only market servicing the Lincoln Park area, that you can get to within walking distance.

The owner need to remodel that supermarket, shelves was empty, it didnt appear clean to me.

For small plaza has a variety of shopping stores very good

Its a great supermarket to get caribbean stuff.

Have all sorts of both Mexican and african foods as well as general products for laundry, kitchen etc.

Definitely not the most affordable prices, but you have to pay for convenience I guess. I don’t live in this area but I come here a lot due to work. It’s a good place to pick up a lot of quick things.There’s definitely a good selection of things, some are a pretty good deal and others quite a bit more than bigger grocery stores.But nonetheless the few times I’ve been there staff has been friendly and the store has been clean.

Ceiling fell, water leaking from freezer. Store is falling apart although well stocked. We need to be safe in there when we shop.

ITS ABOUT FOUR REGISTERS, IVE NOTICED THAT THERE ARE NO PEOPLE OF THE BLACK AMERICAN DECENT WHO WORKS THERE!!! THEY DO NOT HAVE A AREA FOR SLICED MEATS!! I ONLY PATRONIZE HERE BECAUSE ITS CONVENIENT. ALSO THEY DO NOT HONOR AND OR OFFER RAINCHECKS! YOU CANT EVEN SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR! YOURE ON YOUR OWN THERE. SO TO SUM IT UP, 👎THEY GET A THUMBS DOWN FOR ME!!

Its a big convenient store. It serves its purpose they have gotten better... more selections but.!!! they can do better in the fruit area. The fruit doesnt always look fresh to me at all!!! Also their prices are way too much. I think they take advantage of the fact that their one of closest market for a lot of people that cant get anywhere else at that moment...so you end up paying for a $3-$5 bag of shredded cheese when you can actually get that from ShopRite for a $1.99....its just a lot of thing are overly priced....

Over priced and stinky. The neighborhood store has every single item over priced. Just go to Shoprite. You will save more money at Shoprite. The funky smell will make you nauseated.

Good place if you need something quick you might have forgotten to get while grocery shopping. Vegetables are all that fresh though.

Good place for shopping for food for the money

Everything is marked up and the vegetables are almost never fresh. Even the bagged lettuce was mushy. If you are on a budget, Id go somewhere else.

Its okay if you need something quick but they need too work on the selection of meats in the meat department and the cleanliness is trebbile. I would nt recommend this unless it is your only choice.

They over charge you. Most of the sale prices are not entered in to the computer so when a sale item is scanned it will ring up at regular price and you wouldnt know unless you look at your receipt. I had to wait until the cashier went around to check the prices her self before I could get a refund. Plus the prices of eggs were too high 3.99 4.49 5.99 took pictures of the signs posted I can no longer afford to have eggs for breakfast. SMH. ( Clinton ave. Newark NJ) And they dont take coupons SMH what store doesnt take coupons

Incositent customer service at times. Depending on how rhey fell they may or may not be courteous. Have seen slight improvement though. Better employee train ing is needed! If this place is crowdedfoe some reason then walk out. This c town cant handle it when there are too many customers! Beware of the onions and potatoes. If you see flies then do not buy!

Their meats are horrible, they need to send the inspection out to clean that store up. They sell old milk thats out dated that I had to return because it was spoiled. Its ridiculous how that store is still open, I hate having to go in that store for anything unless absolutely necessary. CLEAN that store up.... PLEASE.

This location is hanging tough.

Not a very polite place! The guy who manages the place is the worst. No training at all in terms of dealing with customers. Also, the prices are too high, go elsewhere. And their were flies around the onions a few weeks ago. Buyer beware! Always check the prices at the register if you have no choice but to go to this place for anything!

Expensive for the quality they offer, imposible to use the exit if you have a stroller, wheelchair or even a shopping car.

Place is smelly, dingy and located close to a drug infested neighborhood so expect drug addicts looking for handouts. Prices are slightly higher than big chain supermarkets.
