While in the cash out line I need a price check on a item that rang up higher than I thought it should be. The girl working the cash register (Emma) was very rude! It was like I was putting her out but all I was asking her to do is her job. Finally she called a manager and she had no problem helping me. After the manager left Emma was actually throwing the rest of my items as she rang them out. I know its hard to find good help but I think Emna needs to find a new line of work. Customer service is definitely not for her!

If you’re going to have signs stating ALL customers must wear a mask, then ENFORCE IT. I haven’t seen a single person wearing one in the store. Either take down the sign, or enforce it.

This pharmacy is the absolute worst. NO customer service skills, EXTREMELY slow, unapologetic for said slow times, and mislead on prescription times of being ready. I had a few issues with my sons prescription most recently, after what seemed like a million calls back and forth with the insurance company and the pharmacy it was finally resolved. Once resolved the pharmacist told me to give them till 630pm. I showed to the store at 630pm, waited in line till 710pm only to be told when I got to the front that it still wasn’t ready. Would be at least another half hour……..? When I voiced my frustrations the pharmacist came to the front and announced “you’re not the only prescription we are trying to fill”. Every single month there is some delay, long wait or issue. If you value your time, choose another pharmacy.I will say, the store I shop at and love. The pharmacist- not recommended. 0/10.

Had a horrible experience tonight. I left my EBT card at home but had a picture and proof that it was mine but the cashier would not type it in. The service desk guy with blonde hair was very disrespectful and wasn’t helpful at all. I know they can enter it and have done it before! It is embarrassing to stand there and wait for them to void each individual item off and talk about me when I’m standing right there. This store preformed with horrible customer service tonight!

Never ever order your groceries from here. Ive done it 5 times and they never get me what I want, they forget to get things or they move the pick up time constantly. Also there is a crazy older blonde lady im the clothing section that will follow you or complain if anything is moved.

This particular Kroger does not take care of its restrooms they were disgusting, and only has two single use restrooms.Maybe that’s not a big concern for most, and other than that this location is fine. But, truly disgusting.

I am so confused about your Covid 19 rules. You are either for mandatory face masks or against them. After all the deaths and others getting horribly sick, you still allow people to shop without masks and 6 feet distance. You never say anything to them. I had their app to use coupons and save as advertised. After alot of the coupons were for odd items and brands already high priced, I cancelled my account.Sunday, I noticed with app, you could save 20 cents in normal bakery. While trying to sign up, the app said no such phone, card #, and were experiencing difficulties on our end. I asked if the head cashier could over ride the 20 cents and was told it could not be done.We recieve Kroger coupons every month. They advertise save on product X, only to NOT have it in stock. How do you save if you dont have it? Or ask for a rain check, to never see it return in stock.VERY FRUSTRATED. Change your song from low, low, low to No, no, no

This Kroger has lots of expired products. In the last month, this Kroger has sold me expired Vegan products. I called the customer service and was told that because I purchased via Instacart I need to contact the. UMMM NO. They shopped at your store and YOU have the expired product on the shelves. Dont pass this problem to someone else! Their customer service employees are terrible to customers and Im personally fed up. Stop treating customers like trash!!! Do your job!!! Ask how you can help!!!!! I have NO confidence they are properly handling food in this store. I will be contacting the health department and have already contacted Kroger corporate.

When I go shopping this is the place I go to even though there are closer options to Granville. The customer service is great and the layout is easy to navigate. Always has tons of discounts and savings for me.

Im waiting for the bank to open so I Wander over to the fresh food section.I have a bad memory so I took a picture of the Bagels in the display cabinet so I could come back later. A few minutes after that the manager comes down on me like I just shoved a lobster down my pants started grilling me about taking a picture in their store.So dont try taking pictures to post it on Google or else you might get harassed. By the way heres the picture I got a accosted for.So now after the fact, in a moment of Wait a minute what the #@@% was that? thanks to manager BRANDON (21st Newark) for getting me ticked off and setting off the wife in a oh no he didnt and being a blemish on the image of Kroger.

We actually drive to other towns not to go to this store. It is always a little dirty and mismanaged. I hd to go a couple times or quick stops and saw someone smoking in the store and about 20 people not wearing masks. A majority of employees were wearing them wrong. When I politely let the customer service rep know about it on trips 2 she said they are not allowed to say anything. When I asked that So the sign in front that said masks are a requirement is not valid then, she said “I guess”. This was misinformation as associates are not allowed to say anything, but managers are. Too bad because it could be a nice store, but it is mismanaged, dirty, unsafe With poor customer service. Honestly it is disgusting.

Poorly managed store where they think stocking 10 of each item is sufficient enough for the entire day. If there is something you feel you need for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert might as well try the cesspool of Newark (walmart) at least they will have it stocked.

I come here often. Excellent selections that cater to a variety of diet styles, including a good selection of vegetarian alternatives and vegan products. Aisles are clearly labeled, always good clearance finds. Friendly staff as well.

This Kroger location is a bigger location with a lot of different food options that you normally don’t see in a standard Kroger location. The Kroger Clinic is really nice and always easy to get in to be seen. Overall this is a great location!

Got a ton of people restocking and shopping for pickup, then 3 people working the registers. Hurry up and wait!

Just needed a couple of things. Very fast trip with quick self check out. Great price on eggs most days including today, likely competing against Aldi just up the road. Once you learn layout of store, short shopping list is fast trip.

I move out of town, and they get the most awesome Kroger in the state. Super clean, super friendly staff, and the best selection of any Kroger Ive ever been to. I was even able to find clothes there - Ive got a number of compliments, and people are surprised to find out I got clothes at Kroger. This place is an experience - I always try to go when I am in town. The only place in Newark you can get some decent Starbucks too. If you think youve been to a good Kroger marketplace - check this out.

Great store. They need more selection of whole wheat bread products. Very limited selection. And I have bought one gallon of milk that was soured. But all in all a very good store. If you want a beer while shopping there is a small bar in store. Live music on some days. Yeah a nice place to visit.

Nice new store with some extras. There is a bank inside, also a Starbucks, a cafe and a full service bar which sometimes has live music from a local musician. Shelves are usually stocked well but Ive noticed sale items are sometimes out of stock. Finding help is a challenge too at times. Overall I really like this store. Use the phone app to help locate items.

My wife and I make an hour and a half round trip just to visit their bakery!

Everything is well organized and easy to find. Plenty of friendly workers and faculty to help you when needed. Everything seems to be in stock all the time, and about every lane is open and running, so there is little wait to check out. Sells all sorts of food, infant care, laundry supplies, medicine, decorations, clothing, and other needed and unique items. With the Kroger Plus card, you even get more savings on top of the already nice deals, and thats great for a college student like myself.

I love the convenient app and all of the coupons that load directly to your Kroger card. I just wish that you didnt have to spend so much to get gas points. 1 point equals 1 dollar. 10 cents off equals 100 dollars. That is outrageous. I would go there more if that aspect was better.

Just wanted to say a special shoutout to Justin from HR/Customer service. My father left his phone in the store and Justin not only found the phone for us but also stayed way after his shift in order to get us the phone back that night. It was just above and beyond customer service and we are so thankful!!

Everyone is so nice and helpful. The deli is great and offers just about anything you want from fresh salads and sides and a salad bar to sushi. The sushi is made fresh by a sushi chef. We sat out on a the patio or theres plenty of room inside. Just pleasant all around.. We forgot we at a grocery store just waiting for a prescription.

I absolutely love having a specialty cheese selection in town. Staff is very friendly and store is well kept up (including freshness dates on bakery, deli and etc)

I love the Newark krogers market place it has the most amazing produce section I just go crazy there feasting my eyes on organic peppers oh did I mention the mushroom oh the bulk nut area I cool. Its just my favorite place to shop

Refreshing is a good word to describe this Krogers. An inviting store layout has my shopping experiences less taxing. I dont mind spending a little extra time browsing to explore all this Kroger has to offer.

The Newark Kroger Marketplace in my opinion is a great place in town to shop. While the prices of some items may not be as cheap. I believe the meat, produce, and selection is better than any other place in town. The staff is very helpful and try their best to help customers.

Its a new Kroger location and the layout tries to imitate more modern grocery stores like Whole Foods. Really nice selection of fresh produce and meats. They also have some specialty items you dont normally find in a smaller town.

We picked up our groceries they told my husband They didnt have the baby formula we wanted and had to substitute it for something else, just outta curiosity we went inside and found the baby formula that we wanted setting right there on the shelf, Honestly feel like this happens all the time you just dont have the time to go in and look... pure laziness.

My husbands birthday was yesterday and I have been calling all over town looking for a red velvet cake with melted chocolate all over and nobody in town makes that cake. Its my husbands favorite cake and hes not a sweet tooth person. But I walked into Kroger yesterday and saw a cake similar to what I what I was looking for. I explained to the baker lady what I wanted and she said she could do it. Knowing that I needed it on the same day it was 9:30am she asked me when I could pick it up and I said around 4pm. I was so happy and greatful that she made it in a short period of time and its the best cake that we have ever ate. Delicious! Thank you so much!

Convenient location, bigger and better building than the old one. Its more updated, so its very clean and spacious. It was fun to shop here, but the produce is always an issue at most Krogers it seems. It doesnt seem very fresh half the time and goes bad quicker. Prices are comparable to other major stores...sometimes better, sometimes not.

The variety of high quality products provided is satisfactory and their services span from restaurants, to the bakery, to a sushi place, etc. Youll find everything you need and more.

The aisle are wide so 2 people with their carts can get though. Always clean and neat and well lite. Usually have sale items available and that is mostly what I buy.

This is just a great grocery store. There is a large selection of fresh vegetables, a big cheese selection and nice breads in their bakery. The grab and go food is fine, especially the Chinese food.All in all the store is clean, the staff is friendly and the prices are competitive.

Friendly environment easy to ask for help if needed. Will help you unload your cart if needed as well. There is multiple workers out on the floor keeping up with inventory unlike other stores locally.

Kroger replaced the old Rep drive location with this newly built store. Its very very nice inside, mid range clothing for sale and some home furnishings. The store itself is always very clean and has very friendly staff (I mean its Kroger, what else would it be nut clean and friendly?) The new pharmacy has a double drive through. Its a very big pharmacy, has as many technicians as can be safely kept back there and every register is staffed; they do their very best to get folks in and out! Wait time never exceeds 10 minutes to be checked out. My Rxs are already done when I come through. Staff is exceptionally friendly.

Even in rainy, stormy or, snowy weather conditions the Store stays busy all the time. I got lucky and found a parking space right across from the door. Only planned on 2 items came out with 10 bags. Best grocery store in that area!!!

By far my favorite Kroger. Love the layout and all they have to offer with more then just food. Cant wait to try their delivery service. Still go to Wal-Mart for a few things but prefer to go here.

Much nicer than any of the other grocery stores in the area. The store is big enough it doesnt feel crowded, even if the parking lot is full. Plenty of cashiers are available so checkout is not a painful process like most grocery stores.

I go to this store a lot ! Two days ago I ordered my daughters birthday cake. I picked the cake up today and the cake was gorgeous. When I cut in the cake the cake was frozen.. Im really upset the cake was really hard couldnt even cut pieces for everyone...

The worst experience of my life. this newer location has parking problems but the biggest issue is their liquor department being able to input checks from liquor permit holders. Today they worked on trying to input my check as a line grew to 13 people waiting to check out. they finally said the check was denied and gave me a slip with a companys name and phone number that handles the verifications of their checks I called the company within 10 minutes they took all my information and pulled up the transaction and said the Kroger Representatives keyed in wrong information such as wrong routing number, incorrect drivers license number, etc. It was very sad. There are two ladies that work who have been around for years I have zero issues with them, but anybody else have either not been trained properly or are dyslexic. Much of the time they have a clerk who cannot even handle any permit holders needs due to lack of training.

Why is every Krogers pharmacy so slow. I called and said I would be up in a hour to pick up my kids meds and 1 and half hours later I show up to get it and guess what....not done and had to wait 10 minutes for them to get it done. I only use Krogers when my normal pharmacy is closed...absolutely hate using this place!!!! It is even like this at other Krogers guess they have a slowness policy

I love Kroger Marketplace BUT whenever i need to go to customer service - there is ALWAYS a line. That is the last place people should be waiting - in the customer service line! There were 9 people in front of me this time!!

I decided to eat lunch here today. For a small soup and salad l paid almost $11.00 because the signs displaying the cost of both were incorrect. As l was leaving, l asked if the cupcakes at the sample station were able too be tried. I was told the price of them and that only one sample was allowed per guest.

Managment is very rude to the employees/vendors. Managments needs to realize they run a grocery store..... your not gods gift to earth. Saying you run a grocery store is like saying you run a mcdonalds. Get over yourselves. Managment.... REALIZE those vendors are also CUSTOMERS when they are off the clock. Every good buisness man knows. Everyone is a potential customer. I was a vendor in several krogers and every manager i made contact with was no different. ( acting as if they are far better then you). Due to seeing what management truly is at Kroger i will never shop at another Kroger again and have converted friends and family to follow suit. Walmart, giant eagle and meijer seem to have staff/managment that is slightly more respectful. My friends, family and my money will be spent at one of them.
