Im very impressed with this folks. Last week I took my new pickup truck to get a load of topsoil. The bucket loader guy was quick to get to me and suggested I split the load as my truck is light weight and the bed was small. He expertly loaded 1/2 yard and I came back later that day to get the other half. Im glad he thought to suggest this solution and was willing to take the time to double load.This week I ordered a large mulch delivery. The folks in the office were friendly, polite and very efficient. The carefully collected all the information and then read everything back. I was able to arrange a next day delivery.By the way, both products were high quality.

Great place to unload any yard waste you have after cleaning up unwanted bushes, shrubs, and trees. Large facility and easy to unload materials and a steal at only 10.00. Also has mulch, stone and slate materials for purchase.

We ordered 7 tons of gravel and received the nextt day. The driver was courteous and polite and was earlier than expected. Then we had to order another 2 tons of gravel and again the driver was courteous and polite and was earlier than expected. I would recommend Holland Mulch.

This place is a joke (Newark, De location). As of 2016/17 DNREC lists them as a free yard waste drop off location yet they refuse residents at will. No notice or updates posted online so youll find out the hard way once you haul a load there and are turned away. They should not be listed as such a resource for the state because of the numerous complaints filed. Additionally the customer service lady in the front office, who also answers the phone, is extremely miserable and arrogant. She should be far far away from interacting with the public.

Not happy, was not allowed to dump what their webpage said was ok to dump. I had tons of yard waste bagged up and ready to go, had to rent a truck to get it to their facility, and then was turned away because they stated that they no longer accept the items that were in the bags (grass clippings and leaves). So now I have extended rental fees, let alone trying to locate somewhere that will take what they say they will accept.

People where super friendly and worked with me on getting same day delivery at the time I requested.

Website says they close at 4:30. When we pulled up at 4:15 they were closing the gate and the sign says closing at 4:00. I asked the guys closing the gate if I could just spend one minute showing my wife the red mulch and we would be on our way and they said no. I told them the website says closing time is 4:30 and the answer was it doesnt matter. I told them that they just lost several hundred dollars in business and they still seemed indifferent. Mulch places are a dime a dozen so on to the next one.
