Great place and I was helped so much at getting the things I needed and some extras. And the customer service was great and loaded my heavy items without me having to ask for help. Its a true down to earth hometown store and so much better than the big chain stores. And they have everything in a smaller more efficient way to shop. I will pick hometown hospitality over the larger stores any day. Newberry hardware is a great place and I would recommend it for products and service and just great atmosphere. And I had a lot of questions about different items and the responses were very helpful. 👍 Newberry hardware!

I like to support the local hardware stores. Use them whenever possible.Competition is tight in Newberry as there are alternatives. There lies the rub.The guys are nice here, but they dont carry a lot of items also not carried by every other hardware store. Several times Ive gone to several hardware stores for an item. Only to find NONE of them carry a somewhat common item, most of which are a nationwide product. Never seen or heard of it. Frustrating! I suggest some staff going to the National Hardware Convention in Chicago. Never been there myself but know others that have.Want to standout, carry a different mix of items!I will admit Im spoiled. Home base for decades was in Tempe, AZ. My local Pauls ACE store is huge. It was my go-to store for items not carried by the Lowes & Home Depot. And before being bought by Pauls, they had an even bigger selection of hardware that could not be found at the big box stores. And that is called PROGRESS?All my life Ive thought having a hardware store would be a fantastic dream. All that stuff to make repairs & build things! But then there is the reality of life.... Oh well.Back to this store - I know there is limited space, even worse limited budget. Not to mention Shelf Life. But where there is a will there is a way! Maybe motivation is needed?

Excellent hardware store

I always go here when the guys in my family dont want to be bothered with something!! The people at our Ace go out of their way to find a solution for ME. This is very important because it is usually something that I have to fix because my guys wont. Also they are wonderful with UPS shipping.

A great store with all the benefits of big box stores and none of the drawbacks. Really knowledgeable people staffing the store and they are very accommodating and willing to help you with everything from tool comparisons to technical specs for some items sold. If I had my choice Id use this store every time! Its a comfortable place to ask questions and get truly seasoned advice. I highly recommend it!

Currently our go-to paint store is going through a severe pint shortage. This is troublesome as it’s where our livelihood lies. Thankfully Newberry Hardware carries high quality paint which let us get back on track with our painting projects.
