After making an appointment for a vaccination and filling out the questionnaire, I expected that I would be only a few minutes. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested and not only was there no record of my appointment (even though I had a confirmation email) but there was also no record of the form I filled out on-line. I finally received the vaccine 1 hour after my allotted time. I realize the fault lies with management and not the pharmacy staff. Several people arrived and found the same issue.
MAKE CLIENTS WAIT IN PAIN AND BARELY ABLE TO WALK WITHOUT HELPING OR CARING ABOUT CLIENTS!!!!! The pharmacy left a pain patient without medication for several days leaving the patient barely able to walk no apologizing no fixing the issue and no Help at all with the client and letting them suffer and making the client do extra work. No consideration for their clients!
Just like life, there are negative interactions and positive interactions in any setting where people must work together. For instance, this morning/early afternoon I had a relatively unpleasant experience with the pharmacy staff. And I was all ready to write a negative review until I went back later that afternoon and had a truly rare and positive experience. It just proves the point that timing and the staff on duty and many other variables can be the difference between a good and bad experience. When I returned in the afternoon to deal with the mistake made earlier that day, the service was pleasant and efficient. There is no drive-through at this location as it is located in a shopping strip mall.

Horrible. Drug out of stock. Have to run to Salem where it is said to be in stock but isnt. Go to Gloucester. The Newburyport staff is incompetent. 9/11/17: I reiterate that this pharmacy needs work. Not only have drugs been out of stock but service is slow, unable to find filled rx. I wish there was a good independent in Newburyport but there isnt. Rude, extremely rude, people at pharmacy desk. Do they ever smile? Or are customers their nemesis? Go away customer is how I feel there. If you want to order rxs via insipidly incompetent voice mail system after hours, you can no longer leave a message for the pharmacy. You cant pretend to be a doctor unless you have more than one phone because the system recognizes the number and wont let you leave a message. So, if you want to change quantity, ask that a doctor be called, no way! This is a store that should have a sign that says CUSTOMER STAY AWAY! WE HATE YOU. LEAVE NOW
