Best shop in downtown Newburyport! They have lots of Christmas items but you can find a little bit of everything. Its a great place to find a gift for someone that has everything. Unique and original merchandise. Ive been collecting their ornaments over the years and truly have some original ornaments that will be passed down from generation to generation.

After going to another candle store in Portsmouth and receiving rude service (in a candle shop?), I was really grateful for the kind and attentive help from the Partridge in a Bear Tree staff.I was looking for a specific candle to go in a glass memorial candle holder. It was a somewhat emotional task to find the right kind of candle for the holder, and the staff was more than patient. I always try to pop on during the holidays and they have always been really welcoming and friendly.

Reasonable prices, absolutely perfect gifts, fun items for the house, and friendly staff. Who could ask for anything more?
