We had a new noise show up after driving our Toyota Tundra across Iowa to the Oregon coast for my daughters wedding. I drove to Toyota of Newport at 8:00 am and they said they would have a mechanic evaluate it that morning. I was called back around 11:30 am and was told it would be repaired by 12:30! We piked it up and it was running as good as new again! The staff were friendly and cool and I dont think any car mechanic has ever treated us with such kindness and compassion. My appointment was at 1:00 and I drove out just before 2:00. When I questioned being charged because of extended warranty, the service quickly looked it upand said I have 3 or 4 more service appointments before it ends. Great customer service by all staff.
This place is absolutely amazing. Our experience could not have been better. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, Lola was so wonderful and by the end of it I felt like we were friends. She has gone out of her way so much that she is personally going to deliver the car to out house during a birthday party as its a gift for our daughter. She helped us plan all of it. On top of that Jerry came in on his day off to finish the lending process since somebody else was sick. Top notch service. Cannot recommend them enough.
The service center at Toyota of Newport was excellent! I was treated with respect and caring, they kept in contact so I knew everything that was going on over the weekend. Rich and Jocelyn really stepped up and bailed me out with a rental car after I was stranded with my 1 yr old grandson by a local rental service. I will not hesitate to use them again!
Very good pre-sale service, but post sale not so good - 5 minute orientation to the car - cited some rule about the salesman not getting inside.Sales aways busy when I came for service but service department ok.

These guys worked all day, trying to reset a recall code on our car, which prohibits us from using any part of our in dash, info-center. Because nobody can tell them how.....

Saw a gorgeous Camry XSE Hybrid on their website. Called (I live 1.5 hrs away) and spoke with Eric who gave cars ETA from transit, and vehicle arrived within that timeframe a few days later. When picking up the car, Joe from sales was kind enough to patiently go through the bells and whistles, Eric had paperwork to sign, then I was on my way home. Had a very well informed sales person (Joe Barger) who went over a number of models, explaining the specific features and performance of each. Although Id done my own research, the additional information received helped me to make a more informed choice. I was treated with courtesy and respect, there was no pushy sales pitch, and Joe spent quite a while with me post purchase to help me to get my phone paired into the system, to personalize my audio and navigation systems and to show me all the features on the dashboard. I love my new car and felt very well taken care of.

It was my first experience with buying new. Sales was fine, but finance was awful! I definitely got taken advantage of and it was a very predatory experience. Plus, the attitude on this guy stunk. Condescending would be one way to describe it.After becoming more knowledgeable about car buying, I decided to try and work with them again. I gave a call to ask sales a question. That same condescending tone arose from this sales guy. So, I went and bought a new 2021 vehicle elsewhere. Toyota of Gladstone is where you all need to go. The service was non pushy and youll have actual options to chose from. I tried to support local! Its not worth it. Trust me.

Didnt follow through tires needing replaced. Found 3 nails but only found that on final papers. Rotated tires but failed to fill low tire causing indicator light to come on after we left. At a competitor they replaced our tires but found no nails.They also reset indicator light.We paid $20.00 for an unnecessary rotation. Will go elsewhere for next routine check.

Called Aaron and set up the service to replace the fuel pump which had a recall. Dropped the truck at 10 and Aaron called at 12 letting me know the truck was ready to be picked up.
We were on vacation from out of state and stumbled across this little gem. Didnt have plans on buying but the price was right and their no pressure sales tactics are fantastic. Eric was the best to deal with and Kevin in finance was thorough in making sure we had all of our out-of-state info in order. Wed highly recommend.

I would like to add an amendment to this review. After posting, I was contacted by the GM of the dealership. A very agreeable man who, without my asking, offered to replace the brakes on my vehicle at no charge. I brought the Sequoia in yesterday and they performed the work. This shows me a great generosity of spirit and they have earned my business back. Well done! This is how business should be conducted! Many thanks for your help and efforts to resolve this issue!I hate to write this as we are small town and I am also a business owner. I spent $30,000+ on a Sequoia with these people last January. At the time there was a real issue with the seat belt. I told them it would have to be fixed before I bought the car. Not a big demand I dont think. They didnt fix it. After I complained they said they fixed it after I had to be without the car another day, now one year later, even though they said they replaced it, it is still doing the same thing. But the bigger issue is that I was told the breaks were new when I bought it. I brought it in for service and now they are trying to sell me an $1100 break job. I have only driven the car 2000 miles. They also told me that synthetic oil is REQUIRED, come to find out it is not. I am picking up the car today and will go and have the oil tested to see if they put synthetic in or not. On ALL of their paperwork it says they put conventional oil in, but are charging for synthetic. I buy a new car every 2-4 years, needless to say, I would not buy another car from this dealership...from any of their locations. I will however go back to Beaverton Toyota who for the past 25 years has done very good business for me. I should have waited for them to have the car I wanted and should have never bought from this dealership. The folks are very nice there and I like them, but their business practices seem shady to me and Ill not be a customer. Again, I am sorry I even have to write this. On the flip side, I also write positive reviews for places who do business ethically!
I need a repair that should not take long for my 2007 Yaris (fan belt). My vehicle went in on time and was back to me in under an hour.

Really like the vehicle I purchased, even with the undisclosed issues it has, but Im also truly disappointed with the dealership. Im hoping the service side is far better, since I purchased a maintenance package at the time of sale. Definitely wont go back for the second vehicle that my family needs.Updated to include *some* of my reasons for being so disappointed.First and probably foremost, is that despite talking about using this FJ to tow my travel trailer, and living the RV life, nobody saw fit to point out that it isnt even equipped with a tow package. The advertisement said it had Bluetooth, and when I questioned it because I couldnt find out how to pair my phone, I was told it was definitely there and that I just needed to consult the manual in the glovebox. Not only is that untrue, there is no manual in the glovebox, or anywhere else in the vehicle. When it was discovered that the locking gas cap was broken, they told me theyd replace it. When I went back a few days later to get it, they handed me the cheapest possible replacement, with no lock. The heater fan has an obnoxious rattling, the maint reqd light keeps turning on and off, and the sub woofer cracks if you turn the volume past about 1/3. Certainly not least of all, I told them Im a member of TLC Credit Union, but instead of getting a loan from my bank, I got a ding on my credit from the hard pull by Oregon State Credit Union. Thats just what I can remember at this moment. I still love Toyota, but Ill go to the valley for my next one, and tell anybody who asks to do the same.

I was lucky enough to come across this dealership on the web they had exactly what I was looking for, and after hassling with Lithia Motors, this dealership had no problem working to get my payments where I had to be and they delivered my new vehicle close enough for me to pick it up, and with my busy work schedule it worked out great.This dealership is the easiest and friendliest place to shop for a car that I have experienced in a long while. I just had my first service/ maintenance appointment at this dealership and I have to say I am absolutely pleased with the friendly and informative staff there. It may be silly, but I was totally thrilled that they offered to wash my car for me as part of their service. After 20 plus years at Ford, I never had anyone wash my car. Just delightful to be part of this Toyota family now. Oh, and best car I have ever driven... such a delight.

All went well until the lack of communication regarding that I changed my mind and opted for a ride home instead of waiting for one and half hours on the premises. My driver, Tim, was wonderful! He did his part well, but was not informed of the time he needed to bring me back. I barely made it back before 5:00 PM. Then I was not informed as to where my car was! I had to walk a ways on gravel. Walking is a bit challenging for me.

The car is comfortable; well-mannered; and adequately powered by those 200 horses kicking out from the combined gas/electric engines. There is a noticeable shift between traction sources at slow speeds and from starts; but, I believe, I read somewhere that such was characteristic of Toyotas hybrid system -- at least with the Camry/Avalon version. Our fuel efficiency has been about 43mpg! Remarkable for such a large vehicle.In Appreciation.
Personally purchasing 3 vehicles from this location I wouldnt go anywhere else for the quality of service. The owner and employees are all top notch. I have even made some requests and they are more than accommodating to fit your needs and then some. Great people with great service, you cant go wrong .
This is an awesome place! Most car dealers are still stuck in the 80’s and make buying a car a nightmare. Not these guys. Matt is a super nice guy and will give you a straightforward price, no games, and they make purchasing a vehicle fun and enjoyable. Every time I go here everyone is super nice and cool. No nonsense, just a fair transaction. Drove from Portland to make the deal. I appreciate their obligation to show you how everything works at delivery but it would be nice to have an option to opt out.

I was in the middle of a road-trip when my key quit locking my car. I knew it wasnt the battery and felt very lucky to drive past this dealer. I walked into the service center and Rich immediately walked out to look and the car and help me. Come to find out the battery pack I was charging was reversing power into the car just enough to tel my key the car was on and cause it to not lock! Quick and easy fix but I would have never been able to figure it out on my own. Thank you so much Rich for saving our trip!

Short holiday in Newport and while there took advantage of the Toyota dealer to get an oil change and service. Prompt and efficient service, nice clean environment and friendly staff. Location is great being right on the highway, south side of the bridge. While waiting for the car we walked over to the nearby Newport Aquarium for an enjoyable visit.

Changing my rating.Last year I wrote a glowing review of this place because we had a good sales experience. However today I went in to service a half hour before they were supposed to close. All I needed was a suggestion on what to do to fix the screws that broke off flushed and I cant put my license plate on. The guy sitting at the desk, probably the service manager, told me that everybody had gone home so they cant help me. There were four guys there. For men that work for Toyota that couldnt help me look at the broken off screw in my car. I am so irritated that they did this that I promise I will not go to have my brakes serviced and four tires from that place. Because they couldnt take 5 minutes to look at my car they have probably lost $1,000 sale. Great customer service, dude at the desk! I will definitely drive to the valley or go to another place in Newport before I ever consider going back to you.The owner phones me and was apologetic and gave me his number to call if I wanted to talk. Thank you for reaching out. I hope the service department turns around for you!
