Todays experience at les schwab left me very irritated. We went in for new battery for the truck. We waited in parking lot 25 min. Before I went back in to remind them we were still waiting. It would be a very quick stick my head in to tell them that. But the woman didnt even acknowledge what I said..she just said to me you have to wear a mask inside the building I was already leaving and said I just wanted to let them know we were still out there..she again said you still have to wear a mask inside the building...geesh!...all she had to say was either yes she knows we were out there or say she will call someone..we were there additionally another 25 min. For the guy to get us a battery. Poor service this time...

I have never felt so unwelcome at a business. Front office guy named Ken barely greeted me, was short with asking me questions. And just not friendly at all. He asked me if I was waiting for my car, I said yes. He looked at his watch and walked away. Did I miss something? So I waited while they worked on my car. He was unwelcoming to many people. The only person I saw him be cordial to was someone he knew. He talked to that customer extensively. I also called before coming in and asked if I needed an appointment, he said they don’t do appointments but there is an option on the website. They did good work. No asked if I had questions. I won’t be going back again. Newport location

Weve now had multiple negative experiences with Les Schwab. The first was at the Bend location about 4 months ago where we had our tires replaced. We woke up the next morning to 4 flats and needed to be towed because they didnt seal the tires properly. Since then, weve had to put air in our tires at least 5 times due to low tire pressure. We went into the Newport Les Schwab last week to have them check the tires again because we were sick of having to refill them. We told them about the previous issue, and they supposedly checked all 4 tires and only found a leak in one of them. So they fixed that one tire and sent us on our way. We went back again today because the low tire pressure light came on again, and they didnt have any record of us being there the previous week. We explained everything again, and instead of thoroughly checking all of the tires, they just read the tire pressure and filled them up again. They tried to send us off but we insisted they actually check for leaks. The manager was irritated that we were second guessing him and said there was nothing wrong. They ended up finding nails in two of the tires and needed to patch them. If we hadnt insisted they check, then we wouldve kept driving around with nails in our tires and ended up with flats again. Im 7 months pregnant and we have a 4 year old, so driving around on leaky tires wouldve endangered ourselves and our children. I understand that theyre busy and have a lot of cars to work on, but they need to pay more attention to detail and make sure they check everything carefully.

I went in to go get an alignment check before making the appointment. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and has horrible customer services. They told me that all I needed was an alignment and no extra stuff needed, so I made the appointment. I brought my truck in and 3 hours later then come out to tell me that they cant do it without all this work done before. I will never goto any Les Schwab again nor will I recommend anyone going there. They are not about the customers only about the money they can make. What a shame.

I was leaving on a long trip and stopped by for a quick check of my tire pressure, I mentioned to the technician that I was going out of state and he did a quick check of my battery and fluid levels without me even asking. Great to know that some business still care about their customers.

Went in for an air check and my valve broke off from corrosion. Wyatt and Logan (I think that was their names) were extremely helpful. Replaced the valve and got me back on the road. Definitely will return for tires in the future!

Our first experience at Les Schwann and they were great. Quick, excellent, and courteous. Our flat was fixed promptly.

We were visiting from out of town and our tire had a big blowout. We had the car towed here and the pace at which they worked was impressive. The shop was super busy at the time but they had our tire fixed quickly. The front desk lady was over the top accommodating. She gave our 4 year old son some crayons and paper. She also gave him some snacks from her personal stash. She made sure the mechanics changed our tire as quickly as possible and had them fix it in the R.V. section. We are exponentially grateful. I wish I would have gotten her name to thank her personally on this review but the stress of the situation caused my mind to slip a bit. They turned a terrible situation right around for my family on our vacation.

Receptionist at Newport location asks me to wear a mask.. I say no. She has a hissy fit. Sits back down at desk, takes her mask off for 10 minutes then try’s again to kick me out for making a phone call laughing about it to a friend.. manager comes over puts his finger in my face while I’m sitting down beneath him.. wow thks dude. Bought 4 new trailer tires an had a flat the first day from them installing it without a tube liner. Ok mistakes happen but the first trip out one of the tires was bouncing off the ground I brought it back the next morning and an ex-employee named Brady told me (it is what it is there bias ply tires an thats how they are) well the next day it blows out. So I had to rent another trailer to go 45 miles to recover my own trailer because I didnt have a spare an they didnt have any more tires in my size an it was going to take 2 more weeks for a replacement to come in now we will jump forwards 2 weeks and the tire is here there telling me my tire has no warranty an I have to pay for a new tire so I got 3 days an 2 short trips out of brand new tires not to mention the manager ken complete unprofessionalism in handling the whole situation

Alrighty people Les Schwab in Newport has a killer team. Shelbi in the front office help me pick out a killer set of rims for my truck and made sure they looked a good and I was 100% happy! I will recommend these guys to everyone:)

Very upsetting that someone in need outside of the store, stranded with a dead battery, and they can’t find anyone to help. This is not the place to call if you are stranded and need quick response. The customer service at Les Schwab used to be the best. It has gone down hill.

Like most places, they are short of help now. The receptionist was barking at everyone and kept putting other customers in front of me. After three hours - when she told me it would be another few hours, I sat down in the parking lot and tried to figure out how to put on my chains myself. The mechanic who came out and gave me 5 minutes of help was kind.

Needed air checked in tire, told to pull up and wait, after 30 minutes we left. Very poor customer service at this location

Note: Les Schwab may be great at tires, but they arent with oil changes.I had my tires changed, and aligned which was great. Too bad the oil change experience sullied the rest. They put in the wrong oil, telling me it was the suggested type for my vehicle, which is incorrect. Upon pointing out the error myself, I was given an option of 2 weeks from now to get the correct oil put in, told it was my responsibility to call out the need for synthetic oil, and was given no refund for the incorrect service. A real bummer.

Knew something was wrong and scheduled an appointment and was informed that a test drive required another scheduled appointment. I just recommend going 5 miles to Toledo Les Schwab.

My disabled mother called asking for help with a flat and the service truck driver laughed and refused to help. Take your business to the Toledo les Schwab.

Nice place to go and has lots of selections of tires only thing I would say is one of the staff members were a little grumpy so to say when I was looking for tires.

This is a great place. I have never stopped here before but have heard lots of good things. Found a big, fat metal screw in my tire. I called, got in and they fixed my tire. No charge. Nice, clean store with lots of windows so you can watch the technicians work on your car. Will definitely be back when I need tires. They take care of their customers!

I went here to get a price quote in all four of my brakes and they were going to charge me 1,000.00 for all four of my brakes to be replaced. When I took it to a different mechanic he said my back brakes were brand new and didnt need to be replaced. They also didnt inform me that my front rotors were shot to hell. This place is horrible and take advantage of women just to line their pockets. I will never go here ever again. Im not happy with my service at all and will be coming into the store tomorrow to voice this as well.

Got an alignment and purchased a new set of tires for my GMC Acadia a few days ago. The service was friendly, timely, and completed exactly within the promised time frame. Took the car on a long distance trip the next day and the tires are indeed high performance and the alignment was spot on. Im a happy customer.

I recently had a flat just hours before my son was set to graduate. Needless to say, I was feeling a bit stressed trying to get this fixed in time. I knew I needed all new tires anyway but didnt think it was going to happen in that very small window. However, in about 1.5 hours, Les Schwab put on the new tires and did the balancing and I was off to get the car ready for graduation. Dont go if you are AsiansI bring my Lexus to do wheels balance and tire alignment, after they finally work, they charge me 4 wheels balance price. But then I take the car to mechanic for mechanical Parts, then he said that Les Schwab never did the wheels balance. So I back to Les Schwab to ask why.And they told me that two of my wheels are bent so they cant do any wheels balance on those two bent wheels.Well, you charge me four wheels price and now you told me you didnt do those two bent wheels. So we argue with them by ENGLISH.Then the manager said sorry, I cant understand what you speaking, please leaveWell, maybe my asian accent cant let the Les Schwab manager understand our English

We were in Seal Rock for vacation and had a rental car for the week. I noticed low tire pressure in one tire and found a metal shard embedded in between the treads. I drove to Les Schwab tire just after they opened at 8 am. I was met with a smile and assurance they will get me fixed up. Within 5 minutes they pulled the SUV in and began working. 20 minutes later they backed it out and handed me the keys saying You are all ready to go, have a nice day! When I asked how much I owe, he just told me they are glad to help and to have a wonderful vacation. If I lived here, I would not buy tires or get brake or alignment service anywhere else. It was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended! Thank you all for your professional and friendly service!

I never write reviews. But after dealing with another Les Schwab and having only bad, financially devestating, bad customer service experiences.. I felt the need to share my experience with this particular one. First, last week I got my alignment done. I wasnt driving my car because I couldnt keep it in the lane. Now-- its safe, its stable, and Scott has GREAT customer service and even let me know I needed 3 new tires and broke down 3 different price/quality ranges he had in stock. I went in a week later for the tires and this time Cameron helped me. In and out was about 40 min total and thats including talking to the front end girl for a few minutes (very sweet, blonde. Who btw was wearing a face shield as is everyone at their property!). Cameron also let me know about one more small issue. Quoted me 350$ again which is what I was quoted last week. Today (two days after tires) I get a call from Anne (Anna?).. there was a mistake with the pricing on my tires. I was so scared considering our current state and how tires werent in the budget to begin with. Well she informed me they had overcharged me. Not a huge amount. But she suggested I put it towards my Les Schwab account so I dont have to pay the total cost I normally do this month. WHAT A BLESSING. I havent dealt with a more honest company. Had they not called me I never would have known I overpaid. Im just blown away by the honesty and customer service of this specific Les Schwab. Thank you ALL for being so awesome. It means a lot especially during these times when we all are struggling.

Purchased a set of tires and asked about reopening an account as I have not had on for many yearsThey handed me an application and said to fill out and return when I pick up my vehicle. Went in and gave the application and they took the app ran credit and and said it was approvedThen proceeded to tell me that I would need to put 1/3rd down. Asked why this was not disclosed and was told it was in the application. Then he asked me if I would like for him to read the application to me.I quit using Les Schwab years ago because of this type of treatment and was willing to use them as they were very helpful. Guess I was wrong.Very helpful when they want you to spend money then that goes out the window whey they have installed the tires. Small town and about the only game in town so they can treat people they way they want and know you will have to come back.

My TPS warning came on telling me my RR tire was losing air. Pulled in to have the tire inspected, they found a puncture, repaired it, and I was on my way in less than 45 minutes. All at no charge! What an awesome experience. Thank you Les Schwab of Newport!

Always have to love Les Schwab. On a trip and found a tire that was low. Visited Les Schwab in 20 minutes later theyd fixed my tire for no charge. I would, of course, return if I needed a new tire. Im sure thats why they do it but that doesnt mean I dont love the fact that they fix all tires for free.

Ive stopped in a couple times over the last few weeks while dealing with a slow leak and everyone has been fantastic. They diagnosed and fixed my problem quickly and the employees couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. I was truly impressed and will definitely be going back in the future.

Bad service - I went in to have my tires replaced but had 2 that I thought might still be good and said Id like to discuss these. They assured me on the phone and when I went in that someone would discuss with me. No one did and they replaced all 4 tires. They also said I need an alignment on the front immediately and that the tires would be damaged if not done within 2-3 weeks. I asked if the 2 tires that were in fair condition could have been left on and why I wasnt given the option to use them until I could have the alignment repaired. This question was ignored and I was told I could come in in a few weeks to have the tires rotated and maybe that would help keep my new $440 tires from being damaged until I can get another $100 together to have the alignment fixed. A BETTER OPTION WOULD HAVE BEEN: Leave those old but still good tires on and get the alignment fixed. Then in a month or two when I get more money, have those 2 tires replaced. Every time I pointed this out, I was ignored. I feel like I have been stolen from because I paid for high quality new tires. But because my alignment is going to destroy them, I will not have NEW TIRES, I will have DAMAGED tires. And Im sure the warranty doesnt cover this.

We are total strangers to the area and in a rental with tire that is quickly going flat- I remembered the shop from a previous drive by- we rolled in thinking it would be better to pay to have it fixed than to wait for roadside assist. They fixed it in minutes and did it as a COURTESY! While I may not live here, my kids do! You have our business from here on out. Thank you for making a quick fix out of something that could have spoiled our vacation joy! You rock!

Caution and beware! Les Schwab of Newport could have killed my husband and I due to their NEGLIGENCE. Prior to a road trip cross country we had two tire pressure monitors to our rear tires installed by them, to do this they needed to take off those rear tires. It was a quick job. A few days later when we started our road trip, we were on the freeway in California going 70mph. Our REAR TIRE lugs nuts all shot off and the rim was riding on the studs. Our tow truck driver said we had only a second left until the tire was completely off. When REAR tires come off on SUVs they flip at that speed, not sometimes, ALWAYS. My husband, myself and our dog could have become pieces of that freeway. Something or someone was looking out for us that day because Les Schwab of Newport was not. Never did we think we would need to check the work of a mechanic at a well known establish. If you love yourself, love your family dont take the chance of getting anything done here. The response from a manager should be interesting, lets see how they try and explain their actions.

Dont make your reservation online. Id previously had good experiences here but when I scheduled an alignment with my new tires they didnt do it and told me it was my fault for scheduling online instead of calling.

This is the best tire place around. Local origins with great service and a wide range of tires to fit all weather conditions and budgets. Plus, free tire rotation and repair. Add in fast and friendly service, and youll see why weve used Les Schwab on all our vehicles for decades. I know this sounds more like an ad than a review but they really are that good.

I was very impressed with the service I received here. I was passing through town and they did not hesitate to take care of my flat tire at the very end of their business day.

Had a slow leak. Les Schwab of Newport couldnt find a leak in the tire so they replaced the valve. No charge. Leak didnt go away so they continued to investigate. It took almost an hour but they finally found a crack in the wheel. Mounted the spare. Again no charge.As proof that service like that doesnt go unrewarded, Im taking my other car in tomorrow for a full set of tires. This is one of the better Schwab stores Ive encountered.

My mother in law went there to have her brakes looked at due to a bad sensor . OUR usual mechanic is on vacation so she went to les Schwab to get a quote on getting an eight dollar part replaced. They tried to charge over$400 for this . be aware of un necessary work these guys will try to do. Im disappointed and ashamed to have recommended them to her.

We stopped in without notice to have a nail removed from our travel trailer tire. They took us right in and had the tire patched in under 30 minutes and then did NOT charge us. They said to remember them when we need tires so since we live in Florida, we wont be able to but certainly appreciate their prompt service! Thank you guys!!

Very pleased! We are on vacation from Montana traveling the Oregon coast. While getting ready to leave our campsite, we found a screw in our rv trailer tire. Swapped the spare and took the tire with the screw to Les Schwab in Newport, Oregon. When I went to pick up the tire, they said there was no charge for the repair! Thank you!

The shop in Newport exhibits the great service youve come to expect. I stopped in for a tire rotation, with no appointment. They had me back on the road in 30 min. They also found a nail that was causing a slow leak and repaired it at no cost.

I towed a lot of cars as a result of Schwabbys repairs. Want cheap tires? Make it a day and go to Walmart in Lebanon. You will get a better deal and if Walmart screws up your car they will pay to fix it.

Took my truck in because the brakes needed to be replaced and possibly the brake disks(sweeping really bad) told them I wanted that done, and while they were at it if they could change my oil and service the vehicle that would be great. I received a call an hour later after dropping my vehicle off saying my it was finished. Thought that was pretty quick for all that work. Upon payment the cashier told me that everything looked good, but I really need to get my brakes replaced and brake disks checked out.... So thanks for changing my oil?

I came in with a tpms light with my grandma in the pouring rain. They were quick to run out and add a few pounds of pressue to the tire to fix the warning light. As always, no charge. This location is amazing.

Went here after Lincoln City Les Schwab told me they could not fix my flat & I needed 3 new tires witch I found hard to beleive. Not only did Newport Les Schwab fix the tire Lincoln City Les Schwab would not fix they even commented on how simple it was to do it. I ended up only needing 1 new tire, not 3 like they said in Lincoln city, witch was basically a whole new set. Who buys only 3 tires? It was worth the drive to Newport. I told all my friends and family go to Newport Les Schwab, the one in Lincoln City has new owners and they are not like they use to be. Great service here & honest too.

Very disappointed in the service that I dont get here. I have never had them come running at this location. Today I pulled up and sat in my truck watching 3 guys work on 2 vehicles and another one in the back folding what looked like a furnace filter. Well I decided that if I want service then I needed to get my wheelchair out (raining at the time) and go inside. I was told that this time of year they have a small staff. I always like a good excuse. This is why I go to Toledo. Next time I need air in my tire I will use a bike pump before I come back here.
