I needed a nut and washer. Found them with no problem. Reasonable price. One star because it took 10 minutes to do the paperwork to buy them!

I was greeted by a nice lady right when I walked in. I stopped by for some tools that I needed to fix a loose screw . I also bought some other tools just in case, since one never knows what one will need. Better safe than sorry, right? The staff was friendly and helpful. Great customer service.

Considering it is one of three lumber yards in Newport, their prices should be more competitive. Too expensive.

Was walking by and was chased down by a fork lift driver apparently his wife told him me and my girlfriend flip her off and he did not listen to a thing i said all he would say who am i going to believe you are my wife and then he went on to tell me he will chase us out of the parking lot if he sees us

They had what we needed but kinda pricey.

As a DIYer, this store has most everything Ive ever needed. I often drop my wife off at her appointments and spend my time just wandering around the store and drooling. 😜 Ive found there are products for home improvement I would have never known existed. Their employees are always willing to take the time to help me find whatever I am looking for. Nice area specifically for woodworking tools like Dewalt, Porter Cable and Black and Decker. The only tool Ive needed that they didnt carry was a router. This is my go-to store in Newport for all my DIY needs.

The Newport, OR location had terrible customer service. We walked in wanting to walk out with a door but they were dismissive and too busy chatting. But it worked out - Lowes delivers.

Never going back. I have had some less than good experiences there but last weekend I bought two new breakers for the house. Need one but thought I would get two just in case. First off two breakers cost me $31.00. I had some sticker shock. On the way out of town I stopped at another lumber yard to see how much they were there. Well for the same two it was almost $11.00 dollars cheaper. Well I bought those and turned around to return the two to Probuild, and they told me that they couldnt take back breakers because they didnt know if they would be any good. Well first off if a breaker is bad it doesnt click into the on position. I told them I had just bought them and they still had the new chalk look and it had their sticker on it. But they would not have any of it. I will not buy any more items for my home or for the place I work for from there.

Really poor customer service at the Newport location. Lincoln city store is so much better. Ill be shopping at Copeland or Barrel head when in Newport.

I like ProBuild the store seems to be aimed at a contracting level more then the home depot. They dont carry alot parlor trick tools & gimmick boxes or Chinese lumber racks but if you know what you need its a good option:)

Mask fanatics in the extreme!Otherwise, this place has been OK over the years ive lived in Newport. Ive spent about $60k in this store from 2018 -2020. Decent attempts to do their best despite not having the best selection or knowledge gets them a star. Ive had issues here, but I know the people who work here personally and that they are trying. I completely understand when corporate wants to enforce a policy and the local business has no choice or when the local health depts are fanatical. But this place 100% advocates forced facial coverings for everyone, everywhere and they are VERY vocal about it. They will not tolerate any other opinion or half-hearted compliance. I really dont need the politically biased, unfounded opinions shoved down my throat. But, I do support their right to make the choice as I have a right to leave them a 1 star on google and tell people not to shop their.I might be willing to comply and/or do parking lot pickups etc. but cannot in good conscience support them anymore given their outspoken opinions. Done with Pro Build in ALL states. The good people I know here should look for work elsewhere and Ill even go out of my way to help them do so. A few have left recently already. This place is a corporate, montra repeating cog. Goodbye Builders FirstSource (not) and Pro Build.

Very poor customer service, we didnt need any help but arrived at 345 on a Saturday, no big deal. The front register girl was nice, didnt know the material we grabbed and handled it great. The overweight guy behind the counter on the other hand was very rude. We were paying, cool right? Anyway, an older lady pulled up OUTSIDE the establishment. And immediately the guy starts off with omg we dont have time for a 30 min conversation, and certainly dont have time for this. He proceeded to say it was closing time over the intercom, then says Im gonna go shut the front doors off (auto open doors) the older lady starts to walk up to the front door and the man mentions we r closed in the conversation. Mind you this is 4 exactly.... just being rude and sets an awful example for other employees. We wont be going back, copeland and barrel head are the way to go....

I was treated horrible. I went in to buy a simple part that should have been standard. I had the brand, model and all the information on toilet I was connecting to. I asked a simple question if the water connect was standard or if they came in different sizes by brand of toilet. They had three to choose from. Quoting the smart ass young brat you should leave and come back when you know what you need, most people would measure prior to coming in here REALLY... telling a customer to leave, not answering the question, so is this the same way they treat men or was it because Im female.... I think any man would have knocked the brats teeth out.... NEVER AGAIN
