We came here on Halloween, yesterday afternoon to get a delicious coffee and treat. When we arrived the girl took our orders and proceeded to go in and make our drinks. Customer service left a lot to be desired but I thought at least the coffee will be good. I was 😑 WRONG! My coffee was iced and when she gave it to me it had a few pieces of ice and was half warm, I asked for whip cream and she used the last of the can and barely gave me any. The entire coffee looked like they didn’t care and was honestly the worst drink I have ever had. I took one drink and was so upset I just had to throw it away. My boyfriend barely drank his drink either and the entire experience was a disappointment. 😤😢

Not a bad first try over here on the Oregon Coast. I think The Human Bean is a local coffee stand and I wanted to give them a try. It wasn’t particularly my favorite coffee. The Granita was tasty but not different like I’ve had that coffee taste somewhere else before. The green tea smoothie was pretty tasty and something new to taste. Tasted like a vanilla bean frappe with a green twist. The wait was pretty long especially with just one car in front of us but a very friendly Barista. They also topped both drinks with a cute little coffee bean. They had a variety of drinks to choose from and I was really surprised to see the variety in sizes! I don’t typically see the 8oz options

A sweet cup of Java quickly handed out the window with a smile. (and a chocolate covered bean on the top) PERFECT! what more is there?

This location has some of the best baristas. I know this because my wife has an overly specific order and they get it right 4/5 times. Which is amazing in my book! I scrap the 5th time to road noise being too loud sometimes to hear the order perfectly. You ladies rock!

Was the only car there at about 3pm. Had to tell barista 4 times what my order was because she couldnt hear me over their loud music. Pertintious manager would NOT accept my punch card.

Ordered 2 large mochas with whip cream and we LOVE them! Definitely hit the spot this morning! Definitely recommend!

We went to The Human Bean in Newport and we found the service and quality do not match our local Eugene standards. Of course the wait is longer on the coast when its so hot in the valley and many of us go west, and my low-carb chocolate smoothie was excellent, but my stepdaughter said her dirty chai was burnt and included coffee grounds. I love The Human Bean and hate to give a negative review.

It would of been fine except they charged my debit card $25.00 reload (without permission and another 11 something for the drinks I bought.

This is no doubt one of the best place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I go there I am awfully glad. They always keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they serve. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommended.

My honey and I decided to try this place last year when we were camping in Oregon and it was very different from the typical Starbucks and Dutch Bros. Such a nice change! The staff was friendly and the drinks were tasty. Unfortunately I cant remember what drinks we ordered, I just remembered enjoying them. (I happened to scroll past this photo looking for something) Nice place to try out for sure if you get the chance.

The only thing that could make it better is if they had real peanut butter for their chocolate peanut butter fraps. The peanut butter syrup just doesnt cut it.

Great stuff! Theyre decently fast with making stuff despite having very few employees working at a time and long lines. Workers are also very nice and helpful.

Liked the drinks, were out of soy milk on a weekend which is what I drink, got macadamia milk instead, however we saw that the menu doesnt have the flavors or milk alternatives or food listed. Its just the drinks then you get up the the drive thru and theres tons of stickers on the windows and hand written signs about specials. It was a little hard to order when we didnt know the choices for everything till we got to the window and had they had the food posted we would have ordered snacks as well. The drinks were real good. Would go back.

Same story for 6 years nothing changes.Cant get waited on after to they first open.Every single time I am the only one in line.I would like to add to the fact it is the ONLY coffee shop to open @ 5a.m.The staff is very positive and friendly and cheerful.so thats NEVER an issue if they make a mistake they always make up for it.They are good hearted and not mean.Enuff said.

Gals were wearing faceshields and one gal had her mask completely down. saw a customer walk up to the window with no mask on and he might as well have climbed inside the store and clocked in himself. people here dont take covid 19 seriously and think that everyones general safety and is optional and political. we are in a pandemic. get real. human bean you can do so much better and it reflects really poorly on your company. mask up and stay safe newport! :)

Friendly staff great drinks.

Great coffee and friendly people. Lines can be long even though theres a driver-up window on both sides of the building. Parking lot is small so be careful. Theres also a walk-up window. Bagels are sometimes frozen but a few minutes on the dashboard usually does the trick.

Its not d-bros and thank God. The coffee isnt bitter and theres no line, did I say, its not dutch bros. The attendants are friendly and dont have a sassy highschool vibe, did I say, its not dutch bros. An oregon treat in drivethru coffee.

I like the taste of coffee so when I order a frappuccino I still want to taste coffee. Human Bean knows how to do just that. Best frappuccinos anywhere.

Pulledbup behind a suv whom had recieved her drink, buy the customer and Batista kept talking, lasting for about 5 minutes . I moved to tje othrr side got my drink and they were still talking with people waiting behind them . Im sure its fine to talk, but need to be aware of people waiting for service .

Never have I had such rude customer service by someone then today. The new girl was very sweet. Beside spending almost $23. One of the mochas coconut milk was burnt. Sad because the Bend, Oregon Human Beans are amazing!!!

Just sad. For the price you pay you figure you could at least get service. But no. You get a bad attitude. We ordered two drinks they got it wrong. We have it back. Then then gave us syrup and water. We had to park and explain it then wait for the third time. Very painful.

Been going since they opened in Newport, love the coffee, good prices, but not consistant, order same thing but doesnt always come out the same or hot. They no longer honor their punch card, no explaination ??? Staff has always been friendly but dont listen sometimes, get wrong size about every 3rd time.

What a great addition to Newport. I had to fire Starbucks, they are just too expensive and didnt care to rectify a mistake they made with a gift card. I have only had 2 different drinks there, but they are usually pretty good. The bean is a nice touch. The service has been excellent. Thank you!

We are visiting Newport and were on our way to the tide pools and we loved the name so we decided to stop. Our family has anaphylactic nut allergy so we asked the ladies if there were nuts in our drinks.. they responded with rolling eyes and little side comments. Our allergy was not taken seriously. Terrible customer service, Good coffee though.

Not the most friendly human bean I’ve been to but the coffee wasn’t terrible. Not exactly family friendly as the blonde gal who runs the place doesn’t often cover up “ the girls” and it made my husband and I feel really awkward!

Both girls are super sweet we got an iced white mocha and a red bull smoothie. Only recommendation is of you get the red bull smoothie ask for more flavor. But thanks ladies we will most definitely return when were back in Newport. Keep up the great customer service!

I love it. There coffee is amazing not only do they have coffee but the have sweets as well. You can also get smoothies if your not a coffee drinker. I would recommend it.
