Tiresome, rude, and odd. The only reason I go to this store is that its 15 miles closer to me than any other fabric store. I have been here more than 30 times and have rarely had a good experience in the past 4 years. They have cut my fabric too small, cut it too large and when you tell them, they snarl at you and then charge you full price. On another occasion, I left my coupons at home and asked the cashier as I entered if she had any extra coupons. She said to pull them up on my phone and I did so. When I was ready to check out and had the coupons up on my phone, the same cashier complained that she could not use the ones on the phone. I reminded her of what she told me to do when I walked in and asked. After a 20-minute check out of going back and forth (for 2 spools of thread, a pattern and 4 yds of one fabric), she grabbed a coupon from the side of her register and scanned it. The manager is a nice but odd woman with a lot of family that all health problems that you hear about every time you walk in. It is a very tiresome place. I go ahead and make the trek to Jo-Anns in Hyde Park or Eastgate much more often now. I dread going in there even for a spool of thread anymore.
I enjoyed shopping here, but the chain is closing soon and will no longer be in business anywhere.
Weve been to this store a handful of times over the past year or two. After repeatedly giving them second chances weve finally had enough. Without fail, EVERY time we have been to the store weve left with a bad taste in our mouth because of rude employees. Today was the last straw. Ill take my business to another fabric store.
