The rigatoni with sausage and cream sauce was absolutely delicious! Service was outstanding, very friendly staff. Drinks were made perfectly. Atmosphere was unique and not what you expect from an Italian spot; I enjoyed it. The display cooks at the pizza line was nice. I’d give this place a 5-star, except the caprese was not at all a caprese; it was more like a salad with slices of mozzarella on top (though the mozzarella was very good). There’s a ton of really nice places in the area, I’m glad I stopped here.

I love this place! My family is from southern Italy and I can confidently say no restaurant can match the taste and quality of a home cooked meal- UNTIL PASTA BEACH. Amy was our server and she was fantastic! She remembered our order without writing it down (highly professional and impressive), was polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly! She made the experience! They are very lucky to have her on staff! The food is authentic and delicious! I’m very picky when it comes to red sauces but this is the best I’ve had other than my family’s own recipes from Italy. The pasta fagioli was FRESH, very well seasoned, and delicious. I’ve never been truly impressed by an Italian restaurant until Pasta Beach! This is the closest it comes to Italy 🇮🇹 Highly Recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Delicious! Had a great evening at Pasta Beach. Sat at the bar in the back & Meghan the bartender was an absolute pleasure! Friendly & attentive (considering that she basically made all the drinks for the entire restaurant but she still had time for us 🥰) The prosciutto e melon app was so good - best we’ve ever had - the prosciutto was lean and tasty and the melon (with a bit of feta sprinkled on) was perfect. Pizza was ok (too soft & doughy for me) but the special meatballs & bucatini was excellent. The blackberry martini was a great way to start the evening. Highly recommend!

Excellent pasta with friendly waitress & bartenders. The vibe is definitely a chill & welcoming. The pasta is really really good. Definitely fresh. Seafood was great as well. Come here for your Italian fix. Next time we will try their pizza. Pizzas look delicious!

Delicious and steaming hot pasta even for takeout. Margarita pizza could use some more sauce and cheese. The salad was good but nothing special and should be a bit cheaper.

Great place with a menu almost entirely in Italian. Bellissimo! Tried the fagioli, the foccacia pizze rosmarino for appetizers. Also had some cut bread. Pasta dishes were piping hot and deliciously flavorful. The decor left everything bright... No shameful hiding behind dim lighting here. Highly recommended!

We had good and friendly service for how busy it was. Pizza was dry so when you order just ask them to add extra sauce. I had the pasta dish which was good. My wife had the calamari which was amazing and fresh. She also had bolongnese pasta dish which rated it 4 out of 5.

Great dinner, great service with perfect suggestions, nice atmosphere. Not a tablecloth diner but still a great date night destination. Service was relaxed yet attentive and we were not rushed. I ate the amatriciana which was good over a unique delicious pasta. Also served was a mussel/clam spaghetti dish with some heat that my friend claimed was the best pasta dish hes ever had. Tiramisu was authentic and a perfect end to the meal. Well be returning to try the pizzas

This restaurant is a newport must! My girlfriend found this restaurant through its great reviews but it was the fellow customers in line that made us know we made the right decision. We met two lovely ladies that were regulars to this restaurant, they recommended getting the salmon! We had to get pasta dishes but we ordered the salmon to share. The pasta...DELICIOUS! The salmon......DELICIOUS! The staff...AMAZING and we left like everyone else, with smiles on our faces and full bellies.

Pasta Beach on Bellevue in Newport is the most wonderful place to eat. As soon as you walk in your senses are greeted with a delicious aroma of freshly baked bread. The clean, warm, and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant continues to draw you in. The friendly staff will escort you to your seat where your tasting adventure will begin. The Bucatini Cacio e Pepe was cooked al dente and absolutely amazing. I can attest that this dish was better than the one I had in Italy. If youre in the mood for a panini then the Prosciutto di Parma was amazingly fresh and enormous. Definitely worth it! I highly recommend eating at Pasta Beach. Buon Appetito!

Good food, and drinks and the setting was nice. My only concern was that I have suspicions that the pasta and gnocchi was not made from scratch. I feel like if you have pasta in your name and are producing Italian cuisine consisting of mainly pasta dishes you should make the pasta from scratch. It isnt that hard!

Drinks were good. Food was well prepared and ombiance was nice, my only real complaint is that i have suspicions that the pasta (and gnocchi) was not made in house.I feel like if you have pasta in your name, and make Italian cuisine, you should be making pasta and gnocchi from scratch! Its not that hard, get some flour and egg and whip it up!

Enjoyed a good meal here. I had the tagliatelle asparagi e prosciutto which I thought was good. I thought the balance of asparagus to pasta was a bit off though with having too much asparagus but maybe some others would prefer that. Also shared the margherita pizza and calamari/shrimp dish which were good too. I would recommend this place if in the area. Outdoor dining is available if preferred.

Place looked great. Put in a reservation. When we arrived the hostess said Im sorry you were 7 minutes late so we cancelled your reservation (even though they were 2/3 empty) but I can put you back in the waitlist and Ill try to try to get you right in. This was @6:30. Never heard back. Solid experience. Cant wait to go back.

Great drinks, fantastic small plates, delicious pizzas and entrees. The bar in the back is a wonderfully designed space and a great place for an expertly crafted cocktail.

The food is simply phenomenal. Sauces not to heavy but very tasty. Best freshly baked bread. Didnt have the pizza but watched them make the mouthwatering pies.

Love this spot! Appetizers were great, the ricotta gnocchi was pretty good but needed a little more ricotta. Cool atmosphere and good drinks! The seating was also a bit squished, not much room at our table. Overall good experience.

We got take out from Pasta Beach and it was.. not great. The Tagliatelle alla Bolognese ($18.25) was extremely dry - essentially a ground beef on top of noodle situation. The Rigatoni alla Carbonara ($17.25) was pretty good but the noodles seemed oversized making the dish feel clunky. There was no silverware or napkins in the bag so it was hard to eat in our hotel. I also hoped, but was disappointed, that they may include some bread as if we were dining in but alas this was not the case (this isn’t a knock on them - just would have been lovely).

6 different dishes (all shared amongst my wife, kids and myself), 0 complaints. The service was top notch as well. I’m hard pressed to make this my favorite Italian restaurant. Prices were well worth it.

I never leave bad reviews because I know the restaurant industry is suffering, however given the experience I had here it is warranted. If I could give it zero starts I would. We tried to call all day for a reservation. Could not get through. When we arrived we were told we had to sit at the counter everything was booked, however, there were SEVERAl tables not in use. Then, the family sitting next to us at the counter was given a table because there was a cancellation. Mind you we had arrived 1st. Now, onto the food....TERRIBLE! I have major heartburn from their Bolognese sauce. People raving about this place have no idea what good Italian food is. The waitress was cocky and arrogant. Also, if your staff is going to lie about the reason why the phones are not being answered make sure they are telling the same lie!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Can I just say WOW! The food is perfection. I got the carbonara and subed for spaghetti. It was delightful. Also ordered the espresso martini and it was just ok. Staff was very young and didnt really wow me as much as the food did. Will 1000% go back, but maybe for takeout.

I sent an email about this, management neglected to respond. Perhaps this will grab your attention. Your team answering phones are extremely unpolished and cocky. Recommend the take a customer service edict course on how to answer phones respectfully. As a result, I decided to dine elsewhere.

In town last week and was lucky enough to discover Pasta Beach. The food was fantastic. I loved the margarita thin crust pizza. Of course, the pasta dishes were outstanding. My only quibble is that I was not allowed a very small substitution of a side dish when ordering the seafood special.

Get the olives and focaccia, served warm it is a great starter to nibble on while you wait for your main course. Pizza is traditional and authentic, and you can watch the pizza chef prepare your pie from the bar space. Good beer selection, and great sangria.

Why did you add marinara to your best olives.Waited a while to be seated.Not many beers available presented in menu. Waited for water for an hour. Beside that- still best pizza in town. Not the friendliest hostess in my life. Zuppa di pesce didn’t come w usual bread.

I am from NY and every time I come to Newport, I make sure to get a reservation at Pasta Beach! It’s absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for the freshest pasta/pizza around! I suggest the bruschetta con burrata and the gnocchi ricotta!

Great experience here. Sitting at the pasta counter/bar is a great alternative if you don’t have a reservation. Food is very good and don’t let the name fool you the pizza is excellent. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Would like to see them use guanciale instead of bacon in the carbonara. Lauren at the back bar makes great cocktails so start with one of those; would recommend starting with the bruschetta pomodoro featuring the fresh’s tomatoes you have tasted.

The Pasta Vongole on the menu? AAAAAMMMAAAAZZZIIINNNNGGGGG! You scoop the clams out of their shells while the spaghettis get to the right temperature,not too hot, a perfect synchronized maneuvre that will lead to the best dish ever in the Pasta Kingdom!Great service from the waitress (shorter lady, with gorgeous green eyes and a very pleasant demeanor) made this early dinner even better.The pizza guy they have there in the front gave our kids some dough to play with and it surely helped me and my friend enjoy our drinks and food. (this was Friday afternoon, in case the manager reads this and and wants to know whom to praise:) )

Pasta Beach was a highlight of my long weekend in Newport. The food was phenomenal—I highly recommend the Bruschetta Pomodoro and Orechiette Barese—and my group raved about the trendy atmosphere. The staff were impeccable too. The server had great advice about the menu and how much to order, and she was attentive, making sure our orders for water, drinks, starters, and mains all went in at the perfect pace. There was a range of prices, and I appreciated that there were plenty of affordable options in such a cool restaurant. Id definitely go back next time Im in town.

We stumbled across Pasta Beach looking for lunch and so glad we did! Definitely our favorite spot we ate at while staying in Newport. I had the vegetariano panini and my wife had the prosciutto cotto panini and both were amazing.. best bread I’ve ever had on a sandwich. Our server was super friendly and recommended some great drinks and dessert. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Our overall experience was quite satisfying and a decent value for our money. Went on a Friday night without a reservation and the manager arranged to get us seated fairly quickly. Our server was attentive and well informed. The mixed salad was more than enough for two and the fresh tomatoes were delish. We each ordered a pizza, not realizing that one was enough. Being from New Haven, we’re pizza snobs and for good reason. So while the toppings were tasty and plentiful, the pizza in its entirety was just ok. The pasta dishes we saw being prepared in the kitchen looked great and we look forward to a return visit.

Loved coffee outside while people walked by. Came back twice before leaving to FLBought some coffee to take home.

A definite stop on your trip to Newport RI! I had always heard such great things about Pasta Beach and wanted to try it for myself. The food was nothing shy of delicious, and as for the service and atmosphere this place really has it all. Everything about my visit to Pasta Beach was inviting and completely beyond satisfactory, making this my now go-to place when Im craving Italian

Called for takeout and just wanted a basic Chicken Parm. I was aware it was not on the menu but figured the ingredients were and it IS a pasta place. I was told I would have to order the Milanese di Pollo with a side of pasta. I was on the Ferry coming back from Block Island and did not check on pricing, my fault. So, I accepted, asked for penne pasta and if they could put the arugula and tomatoes on the side and cook the chicken with cheese on top. I was told no on the cheese 🤯. At that moment I should have cancelled and ordered elsewhere but I wanted to try a new place and was craving Chicken Parm. I have worked in Italian restaurants and the Hospitality industry for quite awhile and never would I tell a customer no when we have the ingredients to do something so basic. They had the food ready on time - however, it rang up to $40! The Milanese di Pollo was $22.50 and the spaghetti pasta (not the penne I asked for) $13.50, plus taxes. $40, no cheese, pasta sauce was dry and bland and didnt come with the requested pasta and didnt even come with bread. Chicken Parm should not be $40! I thought they would make it happen and ring it up as a Milanese di Pollo (with only one piece of chicken - I wouldnt have known the difference), include the pasta and call it a day. $25-$30 is more than enough for this dish - not $40. If the business makes out like this good for them but personally, I never write reviews but I did not find the food, nor the customer service, nor the price a reason to want to go back.

Terrible food, tiny under legal seafood, terrible service and the worst part was the hostess with the anchor on her sweater. Nobody here could care less about you or the dining experience you are here for. One of the worst dining experiences I have had in my 52 years on earth. If I could give it a negative 10 I would. How are they even in business? I predict they’re gone in a year with this attitude and lack of quality. Spend your money somewhere where they care about the food or service!! Crowded and not clean. No manager in sight and staff don’t wear masks - servers or cooks..

Excellent! Stopped in at my daughters suggestion and really glad we did! Sat at the bar seating, bartender was our server and bartender, outstanding! All 3 dishes we ordered were crazy good. I got the ragu special, daughter got carbonara and wife got salmon. Will definitely be back again!

We love the new location!!! Very open and light, but cozy, like a beach cottage. The meat & cheese platter is amazing...reminded us of Tuscany. Wine menu isnt overwhelming, very approachable. Loved every bite of our meals, and cant wait to go back! Perfect walking distance from our place off Broadway.

I love their pastas. They have fantastic pastas and entrees. I have not tasted such good pastas recently. I wish I could taste pizzas and calzones. I am traveling from Texas and have time for only lunch... I wish they open a restaurant in Dallas TX. I strongly recommend.

My server Sara was great but the host when I walked in was soo rude i almost left immediately! He asked if we had a reservation when the restaurant was empty! He also looked us up and down which I found soo rude ! Most of their food is incredible (pizza, some pasta dishes, apps), but I feel compelled to warn people that their bolognese is HIDEOUS. Cat food on top of dry noodles.

Absolutely amazing place. The vibes are amazing on the inside, and although the food is great quality and a bit “fancier” than the average place, the inside is laid back and so cute. The prosciutto de parma pizza is phenomenal, and pairs well with a ball of burrata. Everything is delicious, I could not recommend more.

We went to Past Beach last night to celebrate my Mans Birthday. Im a Newport local and have enjoyed my experience in the past. My Pasta with Clams came with tiny imported clams rather than our lovely local clams that I could have gone out and dug myself. Many were not even open which of course means they are spoiled. We told our Waitress that we were not happy, and we were really nice about it knowing it was not actually her fault. She dropped our check and to go boxes without even asking if we wanted dessert, coffee or another drink. So much for a slice of birthday cake for my Man. Very disappointing. I wont be back. Too many other options for Italian in Newport.....

Always first class, the food is fantastic, and atmosphere is posh and inviting. I live walking-distance and its a luxury having it so close.

My girlfriend and I went to Pasta Beach in Newport,RI for my birthday.She ordered pasta & clams in a red sauce.When her entree arrives it had “imported “clams!The menu never said “imported “ clams!You’re having a dish with clams in New England, you expect them to be local clams!!We talked to the waitress to let her know that it should say the clams are “imported “ on the menu.When we asked for “to go” boxes, our bill came with them!! We were never asked about dessert or after dinner drinks! We never even asked for the bill!!We felt like we were given the “bums” rush!Not very impressed with the menu or the service!!
