Went in on Monday needing a new lawn tractor. Celeste got me squared away right away. Gave me all the details and everything on the perfect mower. She told me it would be delivered on that Friday which would be perfect. On Wednesday she texted me and said that it could be delivered on Wednesday and at 1pm on Wednesday it showed up. Very professional, helpful, and I will buy equipment from Celeste and James River Equipment in Newton again.

Had my riding lawn mower picked up for regular maintenance. Discovered they had missed a step in the maintenance that made the mower unusable. Simple oversight. Important thing is I called to inform them, they picked up the mower, corrected the issue and had it back to me the next day ready to go. It’s regrettable the error happened but they made it right exactly the way I would expect. Excellent customer service.

I called this John Deere location; known as James River Equipment around 4:30 after getting off work and told them I was looking for a tube to go in my lawnmower tire. Spoke with Bill in parts and provided him with my mower model and tire parameters so he could look up the appropriate tube in their system. Bill was very professional, courteous, informative, and helpful with getting me the correct tube. I was running a bit behind getting to their location before they closed at 5:30 so I called back up to the store and asked if I arrived about 5:35-5:40 would anyone still be there so I could pick the item up. Bill went above and beyond and said hed still be there waiting for me to arrive and asked what I was driving so he could keep an eye out for me to arrive. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing mower/tractor/law supplies! Thanks again for being an amazing employee and person Bill!

I live in Wake Forest and my JD in Vale had problems that I had put off for a couple years. When in town, I stopped by James River and met with Celeste and explained my situation. She assured me she could help, and made arrangements to pick up my tractor. Once the problem was diagnosed, Celeste kept me updated on the cost and timeframe for the repairs. She also offered me options to save money, and even had my tractor cleaned and delivered back to the farm. Thanks Celeste, great customer service that one expects from John Deere and James River.

We bought our tractor from them last year. Great Dealership and Tim Cann was fantastic!!! This was our first tractor and he helped us every step of the way. They really took their time to explain the features of the tractor and how to operate. We needed some attachments and went there today another great experience. I’m not sure what the first reviewer was upset about. But it seems he gets his skivvies in a wad over a good dealOur experience was top notch. We were actually their first tractor customer. Tim Conn, the store manager talked to us in depth prior to their opening. We went in as soon as we could and picked up a little 1025R with many implements. Brandon, the mechanic is an exceptionally pleasant and knowledgeable young man. Larry and Shelton have been more than helpful in getting what I needed. I’m short, with back issues, the original seat didn’t work for me. Between the guys and all their work with me, I’m enjoying the heck out of my little Deere. JRE Newton is my new JD home! I highly recommend shopping with them.

Wesley is such a great dude, he will sit down and try and get to know you and your family. I have bought two things from James River and Wesley is my go to guy for everything John Deere at James River because he will give you the best deal possible, Shelton in parts is a cool dude too. Brought in a new lawn Moore Because it had a oil leak used it 4 times. When we came to pick it up was told it Had a flat tire that the tube had a hole in it. They said they are not responsible for Repair it even though it was fine when we brought it in . Very bad customer service.
