I’m very happy with my boots! I bought these second hand and I want to keep them for as long as I can! This is a great little shop, I will definitely be back if I need more repairs. Before and after photos!

First time I went for a shoe repair they did a good job fixing a heel that broke off. Went in again to just do some simple protection for some boots and the shop was unable to complete this at the time they set (1 week) and have since then have not been open during the hours they have set. Not even a phone call to let me know if they will be close temporarily. It’s been 3 weeks since I dropped off my boots and I still can’t get them because they are not open during their set hours.

Amazing service! I lost a heel tip while visiting family in town. I needed the boots back the next day and they were wonderfully accommodating! The suede was peeling on the heel too and it looks almost new again.

Be very careful of the 30 day policy - I essentially paid him $50 to fix my boots and when I came to get them after doing a lot of work travel the boots were gone because the 30 days had passed. I was not happy. It’s sneaky, and wrong.

I also had problems getting repairs completed within the timeframes promised, returning two or even three times before they were ready. I have also been less than satisfied with the quality of the repairs. In one case, I was told that sole could not be replaced. In retrospect, Im glad, because I have since discovered Pelham Shoe Repair in Newton Centre, which was able to replace the sole, and did so very well. Though a little farther from where I live, I have much more confidence taking my shoes to Pelham.

Decent service, great prices. Saved a few pairs of great shoes for me. Highly recommended!

Mr Lux did a good job on my shoes...like new and not too expensive.He also mailed them to me because I live 40 miles to the west where we dont have cobblers anymore. Lux is a great asset for your community which we do not have in ours.
