Best thrift store in town! Management is amazing! Always a good experience when I go there. Cate is the bomb!
Love this shop, staff were lovely and lots of things to look at . Sally Anne is 100% not for profit and have been helping people world wide since the late 1800s
Such a great place to donate your slightly useful stuff and buy stuff well worth the visit
I have never purchased anything at the Salvation Army thrift store, however I have dropped off items here many times. The staff answers the door quickly and they are more than happy to take my items and give me a $10 voucher for the store. If you’re coming here for the first time drop off is at the rear of the location.
Selection is great. Everything is a reasonable price. Alot of new clothing and used clothes are worth the shop.😶
They have cleaned up the store quite a bit and the prices are right l enjoyed my shopping there 💞
Generally Im a big fan of the Salvation Army and what they do for the community. However, this particular store prices some things beyond what I would normally see in a Salvation Army. For example, a teacup (bone china) at most others would be about $8, here they charge $19.99 or $24.99. thats VERY high for a thrift store and higher than some antique stores Ive been to as well. When I was in there last, hey had their air freshener set to be so strong, that I couldnt stay in the store longer than 10 minutes and ended up with a headache for the rest of the day. Selection is also fairly poor, however, this store is fairly small.
It is a nice place place if you looking for a used goods at a reasonable prices. You can find clothes, books and other household items. There are times when you can find some brand new things also. It is nice to donate stuff that you dont need. You are helping creating jobs in doing so. Go there often you dont know what treasure you can find.
This place could be a hit or miss, the people are too friendly not in a bad way but can be in an awkward way. I would definitely say it deserves a 3 and 1/2 Stars. Management is weird.
Great deals and very nice staff. If you sign up for the email alerts then you get even better deals... Picked up 11 books and 1 movie for 8 dollars
Be careful when you shop here cause they are selling their Zara product way to high!!! seen these shoes there for $50, and Zara is selling them for $40
This is my favorite thrift store, its small but is packed with awesome finds. They always have neat things with new stuff added daily . I love the auctions they have every month and when you donate to the store they give you a 10$ off 25$ purchase which adds up to more savings! The staff are amazing and the organization is great for our community. Check it out you wont be disappointed.
Great staff.pricing is high dollar store items marked up
I went to 3 places in search of a much needed used wheelchair. The Salvation Army thrift store did not disappoint! For $45, I am mobile again! Thanks so much!
MY FAVORITE 2ND HAND SHOP IN NFS ON.EVERY STAFF KNOWLEDGEABLE.EVERY STAFF KIND.EVERY STAFF INTERESTED TO HELP.EVERY STAFF THAT I HEARD, PUT EACH CUSTOMER AND HIS OR HER NEEDS FIRST.SOLID.THANK YOU... MERRY 🎄!
No social distancing, someone didnt have mask on and asked to she refused. She was ok to shop still.
Staff is pretty friendly, but the non-clothing items are organized in a very strange way; by colour! Like, why? Shouldnt items be organized by usage; such as kitchen, bedroom, living room, etc.? The selection of items here is fairly small, but decent for a quick visit.
They had some pretty creepy staff members. One followed me out of the store and tried hitting on me when i made it apparent in the store i was not interested. Was very uncomfortable. Prices were a little too high in my opinion, but oh well. Had a couple nice things
This stores expensive and carrys a wide selection of trash items. .. I only go once or twice a year never find anything really... value village has way better prices and new selection daily of high quality goods in the falls
Its a bit small but has everything that Value Village has and it smells better too. Friendly staff in the Niagra store who greet you when you enter. Especially Danielle Ambrose.
Charity that helps the community. Well done.
A real thrift store. You need to dig amongst the items on the shelves. Super good choice for 2nd hand items. Found it better in pricing than VV or Goodwill.
Great place to shop for used clothing etc. Their 50% off sale makes things extraordinarily inexpensive.
Good selection, xmas stuff
Great place to get used clothes for costume making and other budget friendly craft ideas. Youll be surprise what you could find there sometimes. We often donate goods from the back of the store. Recycling is always a better option than the landfill.
Good finds for a good price. The store is organized with things well displayed.Wide variety of items that changes often.Have both donated and purchased here. For a good cause.
Great place to take family or friends to shop for second hand stuff while giving back to the community
Dirty store
To over priced for a thrift store
Better prices than the value village . i prefer shopping here sometimes it all depends what your looking for
Staff are always polite and helpful thank you for your reply i did press 5 star review but it went to 4 star and i couldnt change it to 5 star
Great finds! And they hold an awesome love auction once a month you can find some real gems there!
Over crowded and messy. Definitely need to consider more space.
It needs more space!! Too much inventory CRAMMED in there
Deal every day 10% off for seniors. Thank you
You can always find something you didnt even know you wanted.
Very unorganized, cramped shelves making it hard to see, small tight isles, small selection of goods. Staff were friendly and approachable at least!
The only 1 in this region .lots of antiques good deal when there is a sale
Sad they charge taxes on donations and their auctions are kind of dumb because it doesnt matter what you bid if you arent there on auction day someone else can just say the same price you said plus 10 cents
Very clean well organised thrift store. Friendly staff. Lots of treasures to be found.
For a thrift store it is nice. Clean store and good prices
I like this place it has some new stuff as well .....they also have auctions...live.I had a great experience here!
Way better than Goodwill and Value Village ... Great Staff work here too
I rate this 2 stars only because i have had my fair share of thrift stores, i love to look for good finds anywhere i can. They have a smaller store so not a lot of stuff can fit in it but im under the impression that they dont put the good stuff on the shelves. They are also very set on their prices unlike other bargain stores like value village and goodwill, where if there is a stair rip dent or crack, or even if youve just come a long way, like sometimes i go all the way to Mississauga, they will give you a discounted price. Here it is not as prevalent. None the less, still cheap and im sure you could find something valuable in there.
It is okay ; clothing I do need but I bought a beer glass and a belt ; price was basically the same as other thrift stores in Southern Ontario so its the same as all these other stores and I guess stuff that no big box store sells like VHS;C,D; cassette players and radios
Good place to find same etiquette
This outfit i visited two weeks ago, and overall the store was clean and the staff was friendly, what i found rather odd is the senior discount is at only 10 % which i found is rather low consideration that this is a non-profit organization and the merchandise is donated by the public for a good cause, hence i felt the discount is a little low and i checked a couple items that were new but selling at the same price as the original retailer and i also found that to be odd, Having said all of that, the store has a tremendous location and the overall selection for donated items was deemed nice with friendly staff, almost there !
Pleasant staff. Some good finds
The auctions here are so much fun, always a fabulous find!
Very pricy OVERALL for not-really-great stuff. Why dont they want to move merchandise since they get so many donations, and the stores filled to bursting? GREED. Will not return.
Has pictures for your time walls sometimes for a great price
It was nice for such a tiny salvation army.
Found what we were looking for cheap
Possibly the worst thrift shop in Niagara. Ridiculous items in their auction.
Everytime I come to this store there is new stock out. Its a small but filled store. Keep your eyes open for what your looking for it could be hiding !
Good prices, nice stuff. But this store needs a bigger place.
They have some really great items for great prices!!
Best place for selection and price
Great place for used goods
Prices are great but dont have a lot to chose from in plus size
It had an extensive selection but seemed rather expensive
This store offers affordable used items
For a second hand store their prices are to much
Wonderful store, great findings at cheap prices
Always seem to find what we are looking for however slightly unorganized and messy compared to similar thrift shops in Niagara Falls. Really feels like youre digging through a garage sale when youre here.
Always pleasant help and good prices
Nice stuff... Sale signs a bit misleading
Always lots of stuff to look through.
Worth a visit every time.
Always a great find
An excellent store engaged in charity
Good selection of books...
Great auctions and nice finds!
Getting too expensive for second hand stuff.
Dont like how all the good stuff goes in the auctions you can never find anything good anymore.
Big store ok items
Always seem to encounter a new problem while checking out.
There prices are pretty Good
Not a huge space but they managed to cram a lot in.
Good place but they have gotten very expensive
Good charity thrift store
On the pricey side for being a thrift store.
Great prices
Lots of interesting treasurers
Love the bargains !
I love it
Friendly and helpful service
Not much of a good selection
Donation
