I needed 3 panes replaced. They quickly responded with an estimate and I had no issues with scheduling. Overall, I am pleased with the new shower doors we had installed. There were a few hiccups in receiving the complete kit from the supplier, and then additional confusion around scheduling with several rescheduling efforts to finally land on a good time. Id highly recommend requesting a morning install to avoid getting pushed when jobs run long.Throughout the scheduling challenges, the front office was really helpful, proactive in reaching out, and accommodating. Once the crew arrived they were really professional and did a great job with the install. I am very pleased with the final product and would certainly work with them again.

Glass Dr was quick and great to work with all the way from Jessica scheduling us to Ricky vacuuming on his way out. As soon as he left I called the office to praise him to his supervisor. We had a few fogged windows replaced by another company last year. The previous gentleman measured the glass wrong, put in windows that didn’t fit the frame and tried to use caulk to make up for the huge gaps. Fast forward to this morning, Ricky just left us and was a night and day difference from my previous experience.. he cleaned up all the insane caulking from the last job, installed proper fitted glass into the windows and vacuumed and wiped up after himself with every window. He also replaced the channel balances (things in the sides of the window that allow them to open and close) so that we can use our windows again! I can’t praise Ricky enough! It was a pleasure having him in our home to help us with our windows and I recommend him to any and everyone looking to have windows replaced or fixed. It’s very relieving having someone come in your home and do the job to this caliber, especially after so many issues with other workers in the area falling very short! THANK YOU RICKY!!!

I am delighted with the people and the service I received at the Glass Doctor in Niceville. After my first call to the screening center a little after 8 AM today, I received a follow up call from Becky within a few minutes to set an appointment to have my windshield chip fixed. We scheduled for 11 AM, and I showed up 25 minutes early. NO PROBLEM! Becky was just as pleasant in person as on the phone, and they took me right in. There were snacks, coffee and soft drinks in the comfortable waiting lounge, so I grabbed a water and a bag of peanuts. I had no sooner finished those than I saw my car driving out of the shop, all finished five minutes before my appointment was supposed to begin. THIS, folks, is how you run a service business! I was devastated after a rock hit my back glass and shattered it completely on a Thursday evening. That Friday, I showed up to glass doctor first thing in the morning and they were there with a smile ready to help. At, first they said since it was Friday, they could not get me in until Monday. GLASS DOCTOR DOES NOT WARRANTY THEIR WORK! Glass Doctor replaced the windshield on a 2013 van I just purchased and the van only made it 30 miles down the highway before the window molding just flew off. I emailed TOM ASHLEY about the problem with their bad work. He replied that the previous molding wouldnt stick to the new clips they put on so it was loose when they finished. I wonder why they wouldnt glue the moldings on to the clips instead of leaving them loose and possibly causing a road hazard by the molding flying off and hitting other cars on the highway. Tom stopped replying to my emails all together after only two replys of excuses to why he wont warranty their work on my van. TOM ASHLEY will probably reply to this review with another excuse for why they wont warranty their poor quality work on my van that didnt have an issue with the moldings until they worked on it. The previous moldings lasted the life of the van and Glass Doctors work lasted 30 miles. BE CAREFUL, NO WARRANTY!

I stopped at the Niceville Glass Doctor on July 22 without an appointment to see if a large rock chip in my windshield could be repaired. I was helped by Sales Representative Ariel Burlison. She was extremely helpful and professional, an asset to the company. Ariel found a way to have the repair done immediately and I was very pleased with the result. Weve had our shower enclosures, vehicle windshield, rear sliding window on our Titan, windows in the home replaced and fixed and through all of them, theyve been great. We just had a mirrored sliding door resized with them and they were fairly priced, and really quick.

This company is extremely unprofessional. When you call to ask about their work they are very dismissive. Just getting an answer back about the rating of glass they put in is like pulling teeth. Who doesnt know the quality (rating of glass) of their own work. I would not use them again for anything ...ever. do not use this company if you are trying to sell your house. They will let you down.

I needed a hurricane-class sliding door replaced. They made scheduling, estimate and invoice easy. Their work looks great and has held up so far.

Literally just moved into town and got a rock in my windshield from my truck in front of me on the freeway. Brand new car, brand new ceramic tens on my windshield. Time was of the essence to make sure I could get this filled so it did not spread.Usaa recommended glass doctor of Niceville. I called them on a Sunday and they had someone answer the phone which was wonderful because they weren’t even open. He scheduled an appointment for someone to call me first thing Monday morning and they sure did. Becky was so helpful and sweet. She told me there were no appointments available until Thursday and I let her know my situation, she put me on hold, came back and asked if I could come in right away. What incredible customer service that is! I hopped in my car and was there in a few minutes. They took my car immediately, fix the windshield crack by filling it so it would not spread and did it so fast.They’re waiting room is very comfortable with coffee, drinks, snacks and Wi-Fi. It was such an incredibly probably Schiphol experience and they gave me a complementary bottle of glass cleaner. Thank you so much last doctor I will definitely be calling you for future needs. I wish I could give you six stars you guys are wonderful.

Willey and Morgan were wonderful. I snagged Willey while he was in my neighborhood to measure and send me an estimate to replace two windows and a sliding glass door glass. He measured perfectly and returned with the exact glass I needed (unlike another local glass company I used). He and Morgan were on time, replaced glass, cleaned glass. I wasnt planning on replacing both sides of the sliding glass door because only one was completely messed up. But after it was replaced, I could see how much the other one was cloudy. And you wont believe this, Willey has it just in case in the van. So I got both replaced. Willey and Morgan made sure all my other doors worked perfectly. And I didnt even know they provide a 12 year warranty. Wow, what a great company with workers who care. Thanks!

Very professional service! Glass replacement of fogged French doors and one large window. Technicians noticed one side of French door was shipped to them with a small scratch. If they installed it, I would probably notice later. But they pointed it out to me before they installed and they ordered new glass. They came back and finished the job quickly. Very happy with this company and their installation!

Where do I begin! We needed two double sided windows fixed, a china cabinet shelf, two nights and a dresser top for a guest room. We are so pleased with the job everyone did. It makes our fifteen year old home sparkle again! Shout out to Rickie who did the measurements, Denny did the cutting and Willie and Doug who did the installation. I have used other local glass companies in the past with so so results. But Glass Doctor has been outstanding in quality of work and professionalism. They are always on time and clean-up when the work is completed. I had them come out to look at a leaky window that another company had installed who said it needed some exotic fix. The only thing wrong with the window was it needed a simple adjustment which the Glass Doctor tech did and it was a no charge visit.All of the Glass Doctor technicians are expericened and properly trained to handle everything from simple to complex glass installs. And they stand behind their work!!

They always do a good job: replacing sliding glass doors, making shelving, replacing windshields. Timely, prompt, good cleanup. If somethings not quite right the first time (only once out of 8 or 9 services over 24 years) they’re quick to make it right.

Estimator apparently completely mis-assessed what was needed. When workers came, they slapped up a small metal track (what the estimation called for) The sliding door would not even BUDGE! And the track bent. We refused to pay. Next visit cost three times the amount of original estimate. And they ran our card for another persons bill! To the tune of $1900. Put it back on our card immediately (I hope). If you use them, better stay on top of it.10/27/2020 UPDATE - worked directly with GD and resolved this matter satisfactorily. They took responsibility and cleared up the issue within a day.

We love our 2020 Hundai Palisade, but it must have a target on it! First a rock thrown up on the interstate chipped the windshield. Fortunately, Glass Doctor was able to repair the chip so its almost invisible. Four months later, while parked in a hotel parking lot, the landscapers lawn mower threw up a rock that shattered the side window. Though it took some time to get the correct window from Hundai, Glass Doctor made everything like new again. Ask for Tiffany for friendly, professional service!

My experience with Glass Doctor began with the suggestion from a window installation company. The gentleman that came to my home to see my requirements told me I did NOT need window replacements. He suggested I call Glass Doctor and the rest is history. My phone call was given full attention and they had glass specialist Ricky Bond come to my home to give me an estimate. Ricky asked me about the problem areas, and what I wanted to achieve. He then made some suggestions and I was thrilled that this kind of work could be done and the price was significantly less than total window replacement. Willie, the installer, came on time and went straight to work. He had to put up with me tailing him around asking questions, and was very pleasant and gave me answers that made sense and I understood every step of what he was doing and why. JOB WELL DONE! This place was fabulous-they went above and beyond!!!Denny was completely amazing as he rushed to get 15 protective glass tops done in 2 days before renters came in and on top of that he rushed a last minute broken glass door with small wood damage that he repaired...he is a rock star!!!Then Willie and Doug that delivered my glass were the most kind, courteous and conscientious. I missed my call to make appointment with this company. I returned call, made appointment, lady at office said someone would come out to my home to give me an estimate, between 11 & 3. I asked that salesman call me 30 min. Prior to appointment. I own my own business & took my time to wait for salesmen. NEVER Called & NEVER showed up!!!!! Terrible service. Difficulty getting a callback to schedule an estimator. Then had to wait for an estimate. Then had to wait for installation scheduling. Just gave up at that point. Called a locally owned business. They came out that day, provided the estimate and scheduled the repair (next day).

Ive used Glass Doctor on three occasions to repair broken windows in our rentals as well as replacing a window in our home. They handles single pane and dual pane/insulated windows. Ill use them again for any future window repairs.

I used Glass Doctor to replace ALL the windows (glass) in my home. I have also had a car window replaced and they helped me procure and install a custom glass counter top from Canada. They have been wonderful. After time went by I noticed that I was taking in water in two windows after a strong rain storm. I called and spoke with Tom (owner). He didnt have to do anything. But, he sent out a crew (twice) to inspect the windows and to also reseal the windows. I also had damage to one of my custom blinds due to the water. He replaced the blind. Again, he didnt have to do this. After resealing the windows I have not had any issues. It is because of business owners like Tom that I will continue to support his business and will have all of my window and glass needs serviced by his company. Please keep Glass Doctor of NWFL in mind for any glass shelves, doors, windows, car windows, glass tops (I had glass top made for my nightstands), etc. As long as Tom is the owner; he has my business and support!

I had 6 window panes replaced due to fogging. Work is decent but Becky, the receptionist is rude as can be. Also, when the tech comes out, check to make sure your windows ACTUALLY need replacing. They quoted me for 14 windows when only 6 needed to be replaced due to fogging or seals being bad. Can only imagine how many customers get ripped off by this type of practice. If it weren’t for the rude attitude of Becky, I’d use them again but I’ll be taking business elsewhere next time.

I had several window panes replaced with new Insulated Glass due to fogging and I also had my acrylic block bathroom window replaced with a new frosted glass window. The guys and office staff were incredible to work with. They kept me informed, which is so unbelievably hard for companies to do nowadays for some reason, every step of the way. They were prompt and very friendly and respectful of my property. I’m really pleased with their service all around.

I want to thank Ariel for all her help over the phone. She was courteous, professional and provided great feed back every step of the way. She was instrumental in scheduling, answering questions and providing emails with pictures of shower enclosure hardware options. I didnt have to make the one-way 45 minute trip to the store as a result. I also want to thank Service Specialist Paul Lee for his expertise in custom glass shower enclosure solutions. I had one of those Ive never seen one of those before shower situations and Paul expertly guided me through the various options Glass Doctor could provide. He pointed out flaws in the previous installation that would lead to water intrusion in the walls and suggested a solution that was both aesthetically pleasing as it was functional. Paul visited twice prior to the installation to ensure measurements were accurate and the customers wishes were being met. Paul and Service Technician Kevin James provided professional installation service and made sure everything was done right. They were meticulous in hanging the 32 wide by 78 tall by 3/8 thick (super heavy!) door. I now have a showcase shower with a beautiful brushed nickel header and door hardware that are as safe as they are beautiful. Thanks Glass Doctor for your professional products, services and especially for your friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Other places I called quoted 10-14 days and Glass Doctor came out to measure and had a window installed in 4 days. Final product is great otherwise this would be 1-star. What should have been 2 weeks was 2 months. First, the receptionist took my info stating Id receive a call within the next day to schedule my inspection. I called back after a wee. Turns out my info had not been passed to the scheduler. Second, I was told 1 to 2 weeks after ordering for install. The install wasnt until 4 weeks later. Third, at the time of install they hadnt measured a piece from their supplier, and had to reorder... add another 2 weeks with no consideration. If youre on a tight schedule, find someone else.

This company went out of their way to assist us while we were traveling in the area. They were able to get the product that we needed by the next day, send a technician to the resort in which we were staying and did this all on a day that they were not even open for business. The kindness and customer service of this company allowed us to make the 500 mile journey home safely the moment they finished with the repair. It is not often that you find customer service to the level that we received from the Glass Doctor. Becky, the sales representative, also called while we were on our way back home to make sure that the repair was completed and that we were able to get on the road safely. Amazing service and amazing staff.

We had a number of fogged double-pane windows needing replacement on our personal residence. Some were arched glass windows. They responded promptly, measured carefully, and provided an estimate. They manufactured replacement glass and installed as promised. They were professional, careful, and considerate. Great result.

Ive used to Glass Doctor two times so far. Once to replace the door glass on an antique cabinet, and once to replace the glass in a fine picture frame. In both cases the service was excellent, they recommended an appropriate choice of glass, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. I did not have to wait long for the jobs to be completed either. Jessica and Aaron I cannot day the most amazing people these 2 are at the glass doctor. Jessica treated me with such respect at which the first windshield ordered which was the incorrect one was totally my fault. She was very apologetic and made sure the correct windshield was ordered and installed.
