From the first call with Matt to Gary coming to my house they were professional and on time. They explained everything and got us exactly what we needed for our house without all the hassle. They were professional, punctual, they did fantastic work and they made sure to clean up and leave the place better than they found it. They were amazing I can’t praise them enough. Matt came out and answered all of our questions professionally and patiently. Since we only purchase a heating and A/C system every 21 years, we had a lot of questions.His recommendations for both the furnace and the A/C were spot on compared to the homework we had done about Trane.He inspected the spaces where the furnace would go and noticed several spots of wear and tear. He brought these to our attention and said they would be fixed at no charge.We discussed several warranty options available to us and again he answered all our questions.Gary and Tracy showed up at the designated time and day and had the job done by evening. The job site was thoroughly cleanly. The next morning, they came back for a little tweaking and the job was completed.

We had a rental duplex that had antiquated HVAC systems. We saw their ad on Facebook about a special offer they had. We inquired and they came back with a good bid on a Trane system. Gary was the installer and had both of them done in 1 day. Everyone there worked with us on it and the tenants and did a super job.

Our GO-TO for heating and air issues! Could not, for the life of us, find anyone to repair a leak in the main valve of a gas wall heater. Found them on Google after a few days of calling around. Not only did they take on the job, they had to go back to their shop twice to make sure we had the best product fit so that the unit operated at best capacity. They were very professional, very friendly, a super value and they were so kind to show us how to operate our old gas fireplace and also checked for any gas leaks at no extra charge. We will use them again over all other services simply for their integrity, expertise, professionalism, and quick response time! A well deserved 5 out of 5 stars for this company!

The main criticism I had of our old HVAC system was it was so noisy, sounded like a jet airplane. The new Trane heat pump is so quiet. Ive been able to sleep through the night without being woke up by a noisy heat pump. I would highly recommend using Smithco if you need a new HVAC system.

My furnace was hit by lighting along with my A/C unit, Gary came out and handled everything for me! I had never had anything like this happen and he was very kind and patient with me and had me a new furnace installed within 24 hours. Very nice and professional people! Our furnace went out just when it turned coldest this winter. I called another company who came out and said we needed a new furnace. I asked for a bid but they never responded. I had someone refer Smithco to me and Gary came out within a day. I asked for bids on several systems (both heat and air since they both were about 35-40 years old) and he emailed them to me a day or two later. Donna (who works in the office) called the same day to follow up and tell me what Matt recommended for our situation. Once I decided on what to get (which was what Matt recommended), Gary, Kari and 2 apprentices showed up within 3 days to install. It took them a long day to get it done since they wanted to finish it for us. They were all professional and knowledgeable and didnt even break for lunch. Our install was done a little over two months ago and we have been extremely pleased with Smithco and our American Standard air-forced heat pump unit! I talked with Donna so many times and her kindness and patience with me (I’m slow, analytical, and like details) was great. Matt sat with my wife and I to discuss our options and never pushed a higher priced unit over the lesser ones. I appreciate his attention to detail and desire to make sure we are taken care of promptly and pleased with the unit we bought, the installation and the service. Corey was our technician and I was blessed to get to know this young man! He was careful, thoughtful, prompt and also a blessing to my family members that interacted with him. There was no smoking, cussing, everything was kept clean (I understand from reviews of some other companies, sadly this doesn’t always hold true!) and we have received excellent follow up to make sure all is well. We have also had the pleasure of meeting Gary and having a faulty safety switch replaced by him. Our home is so much more pleasant now! We didn’t realize how keeping the humidity lower by having this variable speed compressor would make the summer heat much more bearable. We have kept the temperature and humidity lower while having a hotter summer than the last few. Our electric bill is down about $100 compared to last year - and last summer was much cooler. We can’t wait to gain the benefit of the heat pump this winter and not go through so much propane. We couldn’t be more pleased with Matt and the team at Smithco Mechanical!!

Please forgive me, as I dont remember the name of the older gentleman (maybe Dave?) that worked with Adam, as he deserves so much credit. These guys came out and assessed our problem of our AC not kicking on and gave us 3 options with honest estimates of repairs. They were not pushy, answered SO MANY questions, and were willing to work with us anyway possible to meet our needs. We decided to get a whole new unit as ours was really old. Thank goodness we did because just like the guy predicted, our old unit had a large crack in it that was leaking toxic fumes into our home!We felt comfortable allowing these men to be in our home while we werent there and, man, did they win our trust. They were kind to our very energetic dogs who constantly get in the way, and never showed an ounce of annoyance with our very busy home. They installed a new unit, same day, in just a few hours, and had us cooled down to a tolerable temperature before bed! They worked in the grueling heat all day, so that we could sleep in comfort. We had our new American Standard HVHC system installed by Smithco 2 years ago. We’ve been very happy with the unit and the quality of installation that Smithco provided. We recently had them out for a service problem, and they responded quickly and did a great job fixing the issue. The Smithco service tech (Gary) was absolutely great! He was very knowledgeable about the system, courteous, and conscientious in his clean up. I would highly recommend Smithco to anyone needing work done on a current system or when purchasing a brand new HVHC system.

Within a half a day, we went from an old poorly working unit back to 72 degrees and a brand new American Standard H-VAC system. I had my furnace go out in the middle of the night. We called Smithco at 7 the next morning and they shuffled things around to come out and check everything out at 10 that same morning! Gary arrived and did all testing possible on the unit and determined that it had to go (it was 25 years old so no surprise). He took the time to explain the difference in all the units they had available to help us make an informed decision. The air conditioner was just as old so we decided to go ahead and replace it as well since we had been have problems with it anyway. Gary called his boss and explained that he knew how busy they were but was willing to work extra time to get the system installed for me since I had young children. Gary and Kerri came back the next morning and worked most of the day to get everything completely installed!I HIGHLY recommend Smithco! They are very caring people that go out of their way to get you taken care of! I wouldnt trust anyone else with my heating and cooling needs!

SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I just had a Mitsubishi mini-split installed in my unfinished basement. The crew arrived early and was very professional looking. sometimes you can come to expect other crews to show up with shirts un-tucked and half awake but not this crew. we have all concrete floors still in the basement and they made sure to not track dirt in and put down drop clothes wherever they where working. I am very happy to have worked and chosen this group of amazing people. As long as this type of service continues with them then I will bring all of my business to them in the future. truly amazing experience to have worked with them.

Smithco did a great job for us and were very expedient and honest in their diagnosis when we had a bad experience with a couple of other companies. Corey and Kerri came to our home for our new furnace installation and did a great job. They were both polite and concerned about keeping our home clean and did a great job of answering questions. My wife and I had a bit of a Winter emergency and Smith CO did an amazing job to come out as quickly as they could to service our heating and air. The technician Corey to the great job at explaining what he was doing and explaining to me what needed to be done to fix the heating unit. All and all it was great service!

We just had an outstanding experience with Smithco. There were a couple mistakes made on the install that were not caught during the walk through. It happens. Anyone expecting perfection will eventually be disappointed. How an organization responds to correct a mistake is where real customer service has the opportunity to shine, and Smithco did. Matt personally came back and spent 3 hours going over the install to ensure everything was corrected and working as intended. We now have the peace of mind that our HVAC system will provides years of trouble free service. When Smithco says they have a “happiness guarantee”, they absolutely mean it. Highly recommended.

I called and set up an in-house product consultation and quote on a new Mitsubishi Inverter heat pump outdoor unit paired with a new Mitsubishi all-electric ducted indoor unit. Matt Smith came to my home to discuss my request, and in our long consultation he covered all the products that he had at his disposal. He went above and beyond to answer every question I asked.Matt helped with problem solving and designing the best possible equipment configuration for my family’s comfort needs. We discussed multiple options across a two-week period while I researched additional add-ons and accessories for my new system. Matt issued amazingly competitive quotes and brilliant financing options. Matt has a good knowledge of Mitsubishi Mini-split systems. I had these units installed by another HVAC dealer with limited knowledge and poor service after installation. I am super elated about the team from smithco,matt,kerri,gary,corey and donna. mypurchase and install went as smooth as could be and the staff was more than friendly. i will be a smithco client for along time. 25 hrs run time...3 Mitsubishi hyper heat units set at 74 degrees normal Saturday laundry. After checking my meter reading and calculating the cost for kWh the last 25 hours came in at $4.01.......very very pleased. Again kudos to the entire staff at Smithco.

Three heating inspections on a commercial building and SmithCo was the only one to test the quality of air coming from the vents. They found that one of our furnaces was putting out carbon monoxide.Thanks for your thorough inspection process SmithCo!

First off, SmithCo gave us a great deal on our new heating and air conditioner system for our home. They were there less than 24 hours after our system broke down and gave us a very reasonable offer. One month after the installation, Gary Johns came back out as a courtesy to make sure the unit was operating properly. While checking things out he noticed that we had no air being pulled into the upstairs returns. He discovered that there was no air being pulled from the entire upstairs of the house. After looking into the issue, he found that the builders (17 years ago) did not put the appropriate duct work in the house and this somehow got past inspectors. Gary told us he had never seen anything like this. At that point, he got on the phone with Matt Smith, owner of SmithCo. My wife and I braced ourselves for another huge bill. Gary and Matt came up with a solution to fix the upstairs air flow and told us they would take care of it at no charge. My wife and I were blown away. This is how you take great care of your customers. Matt, Gary, Cory Willbanks and Karrie from the SmithCo office have been amazing and we will always give them our business. If you want to be treated like a friend and be given great service and extremely affordable rates, then you need to go to SmithCo.
