Nixa Small Engine is the best place to get your lawn mowers serviced and repaired! Harold serviced and repaired my lawnmowers and did a great job! He is very knowledgeable and doesnt try to add any unnecessary parts or charges. Nixa Small Engines prices are very reasonable!

I called Nixa small engine early afternoon in desperate need of some help with my lawn mower. He had explained to me precisely everything that was wrong and what he could do to fix it. Within 2 hours, it was done and back at my house. A hassle-free, very reasonable place for my family to take their small engines for repair. A huge thank you! I definitely recommend them and will be a customer for life there.

Took a power washer in to see if he could get it to work. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Was able to make a quick decision to NOT fix it and charged me nothing when most people would charge for a service call or try to sell me something, he recommended renting one as needed since i dont need one often. Will be back with all the rest of our equipment that doesnt work.

After a long winter and procrastinating mowing, we finally lugged our push mower out. The yard was extremely overgrown. As soon as we start the job - the mower quits. We called and the business owner was very kind and quick in servicing our mower for a simple tune up. We picked it up and brought it home - only to find that the same problem occurred. :( We called again, and even though it was after their store hours, the owner was very gracious and helped us as quickly as he could. The extra labor he invested in fixing the additional repairs was free. He didnt charge us a penny for having to bring it in the second time. The mower is now back in perfect condition. Any small engine issues we have will be taken here! I highly recommend this local business.

Horrible experience. Was told that they would get to my mower in a few days. Ended up being 4 weeks before they even looked at it. Every time I called for a status update, they lied and said they were going to look at it today. Owner is rude and unprofessional. Read his responses to other bad reviews, very childish. Go anywhere but here!

A friend took his walk behind in for a complete service when he got it back he started it up started to mow withend a matter of 15 minutes it locked up he checked the oil and none was in it new oil filter we unscrewed the filter an no oil in it.Guess every shop screws up once in awhileI told him to take it back but he said na I been wanting a new rider hes tired of walking behind it

I was very pleased with the prompt service (same day) I received on my usually reliable log splitter that wouldnt start. Gnats in the carburetor.

Completely wasted my time by keeping my gas trimmer for 2 months without fixing it. I called four times, was told twice by the end of the week Finally got frustrated enough to go up a demand my trimmer only to see it in the same spot it was placed originally with a cobweb growing from it. Sorry, we are backed up was the excuse. Well, sorry, Im pissed off and havent been able to trim my yard in TWO MONTHS!!! Dont waste your time here!!!

I own a small lawn service and I took my Z turn mower here several years ago. I had them rebuild the carb among other things. When I went to pick it up, the mower seemed to want to die when idling. But since it was a very cold morning, I thought maybe it just wasnt warmed up yet.When I tried running it again a month or so later, it seemed off and lacked power. Since I own three of the same exact model mowers, I used the other ones, and let the one NSE worked on sit until I had time to check it out.Fast forward to this summer. I FINALLY got time to take the carb apart, and found an o-ring missing!! I have since taken apart my other two mowers carbs, so I know what they are supposed to look like. Whoever rebuilt my carb at NSE missed putting in an o-ring! THATS why it wanted to die at idle, and sounded off. I have now put in the part myself and it runs like a champ.First of all, they should have known at NSE that my engine wasnt running right, but they gave it to me anyway. I paid over $300, and had to end up doing the job myself. They may do good work for other customers, but they failed miserably for me, and I will never go back or recommend them to anyone. Too bad for them, cause I was going to bring them my other mowers.

I would not recommend doing business here took 4 months to get a carburetor on my chainsaw everytime I called no one would answer would even drive to the shop and no would be there rude and very unprofessional

Waited 6 weeks for 1. 13 weeks for other and still not touched. My neighbor warned me. Shop a total mess and so is owner.
