Pharmacist was beyond rude and refused to fill a prescription even with a written form from the doctor and being willing to pay out of pocket. Wont ever be coming back and will be switching all my medications to Walgreens who filled the exact same prescription with no problem in under 30minutes. Avoid at all costs not worth going in to.
Lady at front was very kind and helpful. The pharmacist was rude and refused to listen . We had issue with phone call yesterday. My 89 yes old mother got a call in from pharmacy and returned call to number given. It went to pharmacist who was rude and yelled at her for calling in Drs line. She didnt get options that he talked about . I hope he feels macho abusing me and an elderly woman. Would give him neg numbers if it allow meHe
Horrible!! I called 3x and waited of 45min EACH time just to try and get a script transferred no one ever did come to the phone or help me I had to drive 20min to physically go and ask to get my script transferred just to be treated like I was an inconvenience...if it wasnt for my insurance Id go somewhere else... Ive never experienced such rudness and lack of respect by a company before...Id give zero stars if I could
We were rudely refused to get our vaccines. When your phone message and app states walk-in welcome. (NIXA) EVEN over the store intercom says the same thing. So we went to our CVS in Springfield we were both vaccinated. If it wasnt for our insurance I pull all our scripts.. Pathetic.
Pharmacy made a mistake about which new med my insurance covers. I relayed this to my doctor who prescribed the medicine in question. This pharmacy informed me when I went to pick up that my insurance did not like new med and wanted me to call back doctor and fix it again. Pharmacy staff were not helpful, took no responsibility and would not even call my doctors office. Male staff (I believe pharmacist was very unprofessional and dismissive. He eventually became quite rude when I finally told him I wanted to switch my script to pharmacy across the street. The pharmacy across the street was very helpful and made all calls to work out my prescription. It should be noted we had a bad experience w customer service at this pharmacy before but gave them a second chance as historically we had good service at other CVS stores. This pharmacy needs to realize they are not doing people favors in filling scripts, but that people filling scripts keeps them in business. I have not had such a negative customer service experience anywhere in quite a while.
CVS does vaccinations by walk-in and appointment, but I guess this CVS didn’t get the memo. The pharmacist refuses to allow walk-ins, even though the website clearly states that they are welcome. To make matters worse, while they were refusing to accept me as a walk-in, the PA system said vaccine walk-ins were welcome. Didn’t change the pharmacists mind. Good thing Walgreens is right across the street.
Poor customer service, people clearly do not care as they might not have consequences for complaints.
Very poor customer service. No assistance with getting a medication changed when expensive and unable to afford. I had to call the provider myself and went elsewhere.
Very poor customer service. Store policy throughout all CVS’s state store exchange or refund w/o a receipt. I have an item to evenly exchange, same item for item, same cost for cost. Reading glasses different strength, same cost and same CVS brand. Store manage tells me he can only do a refund because I don’t have a receipt, I stated I need the same brand just different strength. Still, he says he will have to do a refund. What he fails to mention is that CVS will penalize me a percentage because I did not have the receipt (which the employee did not give me the original) and so instead of making an EVEN EXCHANGE the store MANAGER (Kyle) makes me pay an additional $5.79 for the exact same item, cost, & brand that I originally purchased ! Talking to corporate they inform me that should have never been handled that way and it should’ve been an even exchange transaction. I encourage all customers to be aware of the scam this store is running.
I dont know what the heck is going one with this pharmacy. They need some serious help. They are short staffed. Cvs send them help asap!
CVS took care of me when I really needed it and I appreciate it so much. It was so kind of them to administer free COVID tests and since I did not want to expose the public to COVID any more if I still had it and I needed to get a test. CVS graciously offered FREE tests to the public and I so appreciate that. Michelle at the window administering the test was so kind, thoughtful, and a warm face of the company during such a time when people need to see smiles more than ever. I dont think I ever saw Michelle at the window today when she was not with a big smile on! So hospitable! Again, I want to share my sincere appreciation to CVS, specifically CVS in Nixa, for administering FREE COVID tests that helped me a lot, and doing it with warm hospitality. Thank you so much!
Discriminated by the pharmacy. Dont go here at all. Rude egotistical pharmacist hope he gets whats coming to him by the board
Horrible pharmacy they dont know what they are doing
I was a customer here for years but recently had to leave after the pharmacist, Nathan, recently decided to refuse to fill my prescription, call me a name, yell at me and then hang up on me! Then I called the corporate office to file a complaint, talked to 3 different people and was told the regional manager for this store would be contacting me. That was 2 weeks ago and I still havent heard anything, guess he has the same work ethic as Nathan the pharmacist. Very sad and unprofessional.

Was called a rasist by employee and told she would not check out my hand sanitizer. No one was at the front so had to hollar to the back room, was told to ring bell but sign only written in Spanish. I said I cant read Spanish so I guess thats rasist now
Cvs at nixa Missouri has the most helpful caring staff. They always go out of their way to help. Great people
Love this store and the people, great atmosphere, great overall staff. Pharmacy is nice and knowledgeable, and employees are as well.
I recieved great customer service from the pharmacist today. He went above and beyond to help me transfer my prescriptions from another pharmacy.
The pharmacist is one of the most unhelpful, rude, condescending professionals ever. I called in with questions about my prescriptions and was told they were too busy and was hung up on. I miss Bob from Price Cutter!
My wife went in for my prescription and was told that I could not get just one perscription because they were written on the same sheet. (Which is total bill because I was a pharmacy tech before.) She then begins to judge my wife by saying You probably dont have insurance do you? Wont be going back.
1st of all I am a self paying and presentable pharmacy customer. I brought in a RX to have filled with a coupon given to me by my Dr (only reason I went to CVS) the ARROGANT pharmacist turned me away because I didnt have insurance. He made me feel like I was an addict or drug dealer! How embarrassing! Just WOW! I contacted corporate AND the district manager. Complaint filed.
The store is clean and organized and the service is great. The floor is logically laid out and that makes getting what you need quick and easy. A great stop before heading out of town to the lake to pick up some drinks and snacks.
Went in 04/30/2019 to see if they could compete with the price on one of my prescriptions from Walgreens. Went to the pharmacy counter and saw two people there, one at the window and another with his back to me ( I assume the Pharmacist.) After a minute the one at the window turned around looked at me and went to a counter and started working again I assume. No Hello, no be right with you, no greeting period. The Pharmacist turned around and put something on a shelf looked right at me and turned his back to me and I stood there for another 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged by either of the two there who had already seen me, but I guess were too busy to be bothered with a customer. Finally the Pharmacist turned toward me and asked if he could help me. I said are you the Pharmacist, he said yes. I picked up my bag I had just picked up from Walgreens and started to explain that I wanted to see what price they could get me the same medicine. I barely got through my explanation before he cut me off and said, Thats Walgreens, we have nothing to do with them. Well thank you captain obvious. I tried to tell him I knew that and was just trying to see if they could get it for me cheaper as I had seen it on Good RX for much cheaper at CVS, but I would have to have my subscription changed. This man spun on his heel, turned his back to me and walked away as if I had just thrown a drink on him.He spit out something like If you saw it on Good RX it must be right and went back to work as if I was never even there. There is a point when being rude is just being rude just because you can. Even if I can get the script from there cheaper, I think I will look anywhere else to get it except there. I wasnt asking him to say or do anything against his competitor, I just wanted him to do his job and help me with a prescription.I said nothing else to him, I just turned around and left. I hope nobody else ever has an experience like this with that person. I had so many things I would have liked to said, but I bit my tongue and just left. There is a difference in pride in your company and being a complete ******* because you can.
The pharmacist is the rudest, self centered butt head who refused to fill my uncles prescription and tore it up right in front of him. No understanding or sensitivity about my uncles situation. I will not shop there nor fill any medication in a place who employ professionals like this.
Worst excuse of a store ever. The employees are rude. They dont honor the sale prices. Ive given them many chances but not anymore. I will shop at Walgreens.
I like this place, somethings are over priced but you can get some great deals. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. If you go to a smaller store like cvs, walgreens, or even dollar general, youre not going to get the same prices as Wal-Mart.
If I could give this store a 0 star rating, I would. My insurance company changed approved carriers this year and I just hate it. I was with Walgreens for years and they were competent and uniformly polite. I never knew them to make a mistake. CVS across the street is just the opposite. Ive had to transfer 5 prescriptions here and theyve messed up every single one! With the exception of one of the pharmacy techs, I have never been in any retail establishment with such uniformly rude and defensive employees. In particular, the pharmacist is rude. Any time I have asked a question of him, he doesnt even respond in a civil fashion. His attitude and direct statements are always along the line, You are wrong. I am right. Then he deliberately turns away and wont talk to you anymore--every time!My guess is that the real problem is that this area has very low unemployment rates and CVS couldnt find anyone better (but the manager is as bad as the pharmacist), so from a personnel perspective, CVS is scraping the bottom of the barrel for employees. If you have ANY choice of pharmacies, you should go somewhere else, even if you live in Nixa. These people are the pits. Convenience is not worth rude and incompetent.
I WAS a new customer, customer service seemed cold, I was charges $48.+ for my meds.thru my new silver script. My husband has the same thing only went to Walmart with Humana his was $10.60. BOY did I get ripped off, going back to Walmart FAST+++++++++++++
Go to Walgreens, DO NOT go to CVS Pharmacy. Their Manager Rob is a liar who doesnt belong there. The first thing he told me was that he didnt have time for me and didnt know when he would get to me, then he had me wait three hours longer than necessary by making me use a text prescription notification service that failed to work, and finally he signed up my prescription under the wrong name. I told him my provider and he told me it was a different one. I told him that was not my provider and he ran the other one anyway. When I went to pick it up, they wouldnt let me use my insurance due to the fact he used the wrong card. Then I had to wait another 20 min for them to fix it and pay literally 10x the price he quoted me. Go to Walgreens. Rob, is a jerk. PHI of this other guy was violated in this HIPPA breach. I began to report it and decided this review would get the word out equally well. You hear me Rob? You suck.
Horrid disrespectful pharmacist. Was told when asked about my prescriptions that he was too busy. How is this place still open?
