I like this store. They have a good meat market. Also they have a good selection of Gluten free products. They also carry the Black Label Lower sodium bacon that we enjoy.

I have been shopping here for about four years now, and the customer service is always amazing, as well as the products.

The fresh meat counter is pretty good. Sale prices on dry goods are good. Produce is pretty good. HOWEVER BEWARE any packaged meats on sale or anything fresh that expires on sale are probably at or past use by date. For instance today Hillshire Farms bone in hams 99 cents a pound HH price sticker placed directly over expiration date. Stickers covering same part of the label on every package. They also take soon to expire fresh butcher items package them and offer them for sale in freezer sections.

I really like harder house. Their meat selections are amazing. I was surprised at their prices throughout the store. Really not a whole lot different then most grocery stores, and carried many many items. Pleasant surprise check it out.

Amazing Meats and great selection on grocery items.

Good meat selection, which lets be honest, is why anyone goes to this grocery store. The rest of the store is just a small town style grocer, but the meat section is very good. Feel free to ask them about a cut if you dont see it in their case. I just purchased a Prime Rib from this store, but they had none on display. They cut the exact size I was looking for. Meat selection 9/10, grocery 4/10.

Been shopping here consistently for years. Butcher area always top notch meats. Staff from Butchers, Cashiers and Produce always helpful. Store carries lots of bargains weekly. Handicap accessible, come check it out for your family.

I really use to love this place. The butcher counter has changed a lot. They seem put out if you want something that’s not already in the display. Every time I have to ask for a special cut they are like no and I have to say you have always don’t this for me. Tried to get NY strips the other day and wanted some about an inch thick and they wouldn’t do it. Price cutter is happy to and the meat is better. I’ve bought my last filet also. I’ve never had a whole one. They are all chunks with bacon holding them together.

Great selection in meat. Staff want to help as soon as you walk in. Store is clean and parking lot is also clean. I always come get my meat here, I usually call in advance that way I come in and out. If you’re buying somewhere else you’re missing out on quality and pricing.

This place is wonderful! Lots of hard to find and common items for sale but the big reason I like this store is the staff. We visited the Nixa and Springfield store in one day to compare and BY FAR the Nixa store was better! The items offered in the cases (instead of them having to go to the back), and the items in the cases were fresh unlike the Springfield store. Also the staff are much better in Nixa - from the butchers to the floor staff to the cashiers - they are nicer, do not rush you and make you feel like a cared for customer instead of an inconvenience. Although I live in Springfield I am going to this Nixa store for my shopping from now on. Its worth the drive!!!

The Quality of the Meats is Top of the Line. They will cut it to sue you and they have there Own Seasoning if you want them to put it on for you. My favorite is Smoked Pork Chops.

Today is Valentines Day. One of the best days of grocery store profits on particular items. It doesnt look like someone planned for the number of customers they had visit the store so all the filets were gone, sliced mushrooms....gone, and asparagus....gone. However, you had plenty of staff helping your valued customers.I hope next Valentines you anticipate those who would rather stay at home with their loved ones for a great steak dinner! I will stay loyal but today I was disappointed.

Today I realized I wasnt going to shop at this grocery store anymore. Unlike the HHs in Springfield, the service here is indifferent most days. (Cashiers greet you with, paper or plastic) The lanes will have lights on, but all the cashiers are hanging out chatting in one lane - and theyre good at pretending not to see you. I kept going because it was a quicker in and out, and the meat counter is the best in Nixa. However, the lack of masks on employees is frustratingly irresponsible. There is ZERO evidence that Harter House is taking COVID-19 seriously, even with the cases rising exponentially in Christian County. Masks protect others, so essentially, Harter House is saying they dont care about the shoppers in their business.
