Christian was SO GREAT! He helped me get my Dad a new back-up camera for his older truck; my Dad wanted a mounted camera and those are hard to find! But Christian researched and made it happen! So I went in there requesting a little sub woofer…. And after they got me set up…. Omg….!!!! I don’t want to leave my car…. They totally exceeded my expectations!!!!! Audio one is the place for all your audio needs!!!!!

Right up front I want to say that I am 100% satisfied with the install and quality of work theses guys performed. It looks and sounds as good as I had hoped. I consulted with Rick about how AudioOne would install the equipment that I provided. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and contacted me during the installation to confirm details. I had them install a JL Stealthbox subwoofer and JD500/1 amp along with a remote bass control which Will cleverly hid for me under the dashboard. Will went above my expectations and paid attention to detail which made this custom job turn out perfect. I would do business here again and recommend AudioOne to my friends. They need to do something better with their showroom but I really like that they’ll install equipment that you didn’t buy from them. The price was fair. If it had been cheaper I would have tipped them for spending the time it took to do the job right. I’m glad I have a qualified car audio shop that’s so convenient to me!

I was wondering what’s the cost to just install speakers? I already have them, I just want to get them installed. I have a 2016 challenger.

This company is awesome. I work for a local pest control company and they have hooked up 2 of our termite rigs directly to the battery in order to charge them as the vehicle runs. Both rigs work great.If you have a vehicle that will require more power in order to run your audio system, they would do something very similar. Let it be known that if they do this for you, it will run PERFECTLY. Thanks Craig!!

Rick!!! Rick is the man! Rick is the employee that handles majority of the transactions behind the counter and his customer service is excellent. Rick didnt know me from a can of paint before my first time getting work done from Audio One and I was impressed with how much he went out of his way to help me. They installed a Sub & Amp in my Jeep wrangler and although I thought it sounded great, Rick thought that I should have a better sub that would actually give me better bang for my buck with the Amp. The new sub would make the Amp do most of the work and produce a better quality sound, but it was on back order. Rick called me often to give me updates and swapped it out for me when it came in with no problems. No wait, no dropping off my truck. He did it right in front of me which was a plus because who wants to wait all day?! Unfortunately, I didnt care for the new sub I actually liked the sound on the first installation better. I called Rick and he swapped it out, put my old sub in in about 20 minutes. He fixed the settings and I was on my way!!I have to say when the rest of the shops are full and making appointments, the fact that Rick squeezed me in when he could, took care of me and got me out the door was A Plus for me! I will certainly recommend to all of my Jeep club friends and anyone else looking for good customer service and quality work Audio one in Norfolk.Thank you again Rick!!

Went to get a quote on getting a system installed in my truck i made the mistake of informing them i didn’t know much about car audio. instead of trying to give me information they tried taking advantage of me. luckily before i agreed to anything i have friends that do know about it. ended up buying subs and stuff somewhere else went back to get a wiring kit. the guys that worked there then proceeded to convince me my amp wasn’t compatible with my subs and pressured me to try and sell me another amp. He didn’t even look at my subs when telling me that it wasn’t going to work. When i asked why it wouldn’t work he just kept telling me it just doesn’t work like that the only recommendation i have for audio one is STAY AWAY!!! Sold me a part that doesnt work for my car after assuring me thats what I needed, then wouldnt refund it cause of company policy even though he is the reason I bought it in the first place. Im now in the process of getting in touch with the corporate office to file a formal complaint and see where this goes, but Im out 250 bucks and Im not happy about it.

This is an unusual review! I am not a customer.I purchased a remote start kit for my car online.The kit had horrible instructions and was missing the wiring list I was assured was included! I am an electronics tech by trade and pretty handy with mechanical systems but I was still confused on a couple of points. I called Audio One and asked for advice, the Technician I spoke with was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I wish I knew his name. He answered my questions and I couldn’t have finished the job without him. Many,many thanks. If this guy is an example of their Technicians, Audio One is fist rate!! Thanks again!!

Ive been here twice and both times the employees have been extremely helpful! Craig did a wonderful job explaining to me exactly what theyre planning on doing, how all my new equipment works, which parts theyre using, they stayed within my budget and still got the best system for my needs that I could afford. While they were working on it, they made sure I was comfortable waiting and were more than happy to answer any questions I had.Not only is this the best system Ive ever had, they were very careful maintaining the looks as close to factory as possible in my restoration project. Definitely well worthy of the 5-stars I gave them and I will definitely be back in the future for all my needs as far as the interior of my vehicles!

My father had 2 stereos installed. My brother had a stereo installed and i had a stereo and subwoofer installed. I am very happy with the install but not happy with price to install another radio. I bought an audio system and a back-up camera last year and had them installed at Audio One in November, 2016. The camera stopped working and I expected a bunch of hassles to make a warranty claim. What a great experience! Jeff had the camera tested and arranged for a replacement camera from the manufacturer. When I returned for the installation, Craig remembered me and the install from almost a year ago. He supervised the installation of the replacement part and had all of the connecting wire checked while the RV was in the shop. Will did a thorough job. All around, Im very happy with the customer service attitude at the Norfolk branch of Audio One. Thanks guys!

Walked in at 10 when they opened to get my speakers and amp looked at. They suggested I leave my vehicle so I dropped it back off at 1130. When i returned 5 hours later just to see if it was finished I was told it still hadnt even been looked at. Even though the staff was very pleasant, its still disappointing that all my time was wasted with no explanation. If they would have mentioned they were going to be that busy I would have had no problem taking it elsewhere.

This shop is incredible!!! Just to let you know, I live approximately 20 miles away from this location and I will ALWAYS go there for any of my audio issues or purchases! Heres my story ... I had a problem with my car’s sound system approximately 2 years ago and Audio One fixed it at an incredibly reasonable price compared to any local audio place in south Hampton Roads area. Recently my speakers went out in my car so I decided to drop my car off with Zack at this location and he was, once again, more than fair. The work was done perfectly and the price was so incredible that I have personally decided that all of my audio needs will always go through this location even though they are 20 miles from my home. Im telling you ... Audio One in Norfolk is the only place to go as they are competent and extremely trustworthy. Thank you Audio One, thank you Zack and thank you to your entire team!!

My experience here wasnt bad by any means. I had a remote start put into my 2017 Tacoma and this business was reasonable with their prices. I called around and received quotes from 7 different establishments in the area, they ranged from 269 to 800. $800???!!!!! I was in and out in less than two hours and the job was done right. The only thing that I didnt like was my dashcam was turned off when I got back in my truck. It only turns off if the vehicle is turned off or if its cut off manually. In this case it was cut off manually. I wasnt to pleased about that, other than that, they did a great job.

Brought my 06 dodge into there shop and the sales was quick an very knowledge to help me replace my stereo. I was in and out in about an hour with a new stereo installed in my truck.

I had two radio sysems installed in two different suv. the young guy who helped me couldnt have been nicer and gave me a good price. i also had a air horn installed. again great guys to work with. last week my son had a radio installed in his van along with some speakers. total @900. your counter guy could use some people skills. all he believes is full retail and over charging on radios. i will never go there again. they have turned into very unfriendly people. i hope they go out of business
