Less than 7 hours ago, I ordered a medium size honey lemonade tea from Kung Fu Tea in Norfolk Virginia. The employee processing my order had a friendly demeanor and I received my order quicker than expected. I also liked that the tea tasted pretty good for the cheap price that I paid for it.

Great drinks! They always taste wonderful and the customer service from Michael and some of the other team members (who’s name I haven’t gotten) has always been great. I’m a regular at this point! Also, if you download the app, there are happy hour discounts during the week!

I had ordered on its App and in person. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. Great place to grab refreshments.

The tea is always bomb but ive never had a positive experience with the workers here… it feels like they all hate their jobs and it makes me sad! i come here a lot and just wish the workers were friendly :( 9 times out of 10 the girl taking my order seems miserable and makes me feel like my presence is an inconvenience :/ great tea tho!

The staff were very friendly and got my order done quick, and i accidentally flirted with the cashier who was older than me which was embarrassing lmao 😭

First time here. They had no strawberry, peach, or taro. When asked for what lemonade they had was met with a condescending attitude. Ordered drink, before drinks were made was told half my order couldnt be filled, I asked for my order to be canceled and was told okay. She then proceeded to just refund 1 drink, tax not included. The drink I did get was mediocre at best. Dont waste your time over there.

So glad I stopped in! Very clean and open atmosphere. I wasn’t sure what to get, so the young gentleman at the register patiently guided me through the menu. I ended up getting a boba refreshment that is made with lactaid, as opposed to milk, called a Cocoa Cream. A young lady quickly and efficiently whipped up my drink, and kindly informed me that I needed to shake it well before enjoying. This picture is pre-shaken. It was such a delicious treat, almost $7 for this medium refreshment, but it was totally worth every penny!!!

My family and I love this place we go there for drinks at least twice a week. The staff is great, the atmosphere is cool and refreshing. I normaly go to the Norfolk location.

Didnt like my order being questioned. But the teas are great.

They are super slow and they closed the bathroom to costumers (even though it’s a drink place) pretty ridiculous

Surprisingly smooth service for a new store! Friendly staff happy to explain questions, but most importantly- great drinks! Think I found a favorite with this honey milk green tea with bubbles, but I will definitely be back to try more.

Kung fu tea was originally in China, but bought to America ! My favorite authentic boba tea shop 🧋. Treated myself to winter melon green milk tea with boba . Atmosphere is modern and great and they are always so nice .

Hit or miss honestly. Bathrooms are unclean and they were out of bubbles.

The Norfolk cousin of the Virginia Beach branch. Just as good quality. Definitely come here for your legit boba needs.

Always hipster college atmosphere. Only chain with the extra sweet Taro boba guarantee. They keep the menu refreshed with new items. Friendly staff and owner upped the perks on my last visit by offering a military discount with social media and an ID. Much appreciated!

Google hours and app hours are wrong.Your operating hours should be updated, a lot of people rely on google and your website. Save your customers some time and update your information.Also maybe let the employees know to be nice to customers once in awhile, almost everyone here has an attitude 80% of the time.

Perfect location, perfect tea. My favorite is the classic taro slush, or maybe the mango snow. Either way this place is great, we will gladly take the 1hr trip it takes to get here from our house because it is so much better than the places near where I live. Its clean inside and they have seating and board games that you can play. The staff is very friendly also

I moved from Pittsburgh PA and they have a bubble tea place that was amazing. After moving to VA the only areas that have bubble tea is either Richmond, Norfolk, or Va Beach. I was so excited to try this place. It was good just hope to find a place with more choices in flavors.

The lady working when my best friend and I visited was super nice. I really liked my iced ginger milk tea. Was a tad bit too spicy but she described it spot on and it was supposed to taste that way so that wasnt anybodys fault.

Tea was great. I thought it was weird that I had to to walk to the other end of the counter to get my tea even though I was literally the only customer in the store. I walked over to get my drink and there wasnt even a person there, just my drink....Thanks for making walk to the other end of the store to be greeted by a ghost. #notcool.

The place is clean with an open atmosphere. Very good OVER PRICED tea! The teas and add-in choices are nice. Service is ok. One of the times I ordered on a military Monday and I showed the cashier my ID, she told me she already totaled the order out. She said she didnt know how to do a void and didnt know how to fix it. She told me come back another time when Im here on military or student discount day and Ill do the discount. This didnt make sense because its on a discount day that you would already get a discount anyway. So, what- youre going to discount me for coming in on a discount day and also take off an additional discount you originally were suppose to do before?!?! I dont think so! AND, of course, she didnt remember saying that the next time I saw her. That left me with the feeling that she/they are not an honorable business and which also makes me keen on not frequenting this business anymore. I think the staff should be properly trained on the cash register so if they make a mistake, they can make the correction right then. Not tell the customer come in again and Ill make it right the next time you come; Then only not to follow through! What if I had ordered a small drink, charged for a large drink and before I could clarify the order is for a small, he/she totals it out. Then what is the cashier suppose to do if he/she doesnt know how to fix it the error made on the register????? Tell them to come back....

I love this place! I have a serious craving for anything mango, and Kung Fu Tea has several different ways to satisfy my cravings. I recommend the mango snow slush!

Not the fanciest boba place but good at the classics especially in Norfolk. The bubbles were well cooked, chewy and sweet. The matcha green tea with cream cap was excellent, not overly sweet and definitely didnt have that processed taste some places have. Hubbys Oreo shake was absolutely to die for!

Got the Winter Melons tea with Boba, lady behind the counter was very nice and we received our tea within minutes. Definitely coming back.

My review is on their use / misuse of Door Dash. I placed an order and was told 1 of 2 drinks needed to be replaced. Alright, replaced. Got another call saying both were unavailable and that I was being refunded, and needed to place another order entirely. Both of these drinks were common (Passionfruit slush, Pineapple slush). After placing the new order, I receive a text saying that my order is cancelled and I should just order from another restaurant. Why are they suddenly not available after having guaranteed with the staff over the phone that they were able to make them?TLDR; Dont waste your time with them. Either always go inside or order from somewhere else.

Finally got to try this place after wanting to go for as long as I can remember. It really reminded me of the drinks I used to have back in Hawaii, so it just made me love it even more. Super stoaked that its close to my work so I can stop by on my way home or whenever I dont want to wait in traffic lol. My drink was one of the strawberry ones (im spacing on the name right now) but I really loved it. Thank gosh theres a boba place near me that I actually enjoy.

My 1st time coming here, came in 15 minutes after they opened up on Sunday. Tried to order something from the coffee section of drinks. They said they dont have any coffee...ummm ok??why ? The next section I looked at was the Yogurt section and they said they didnt have anything to make the yogurt drinks. At this point I wanted to leave, that was half of the menu that was taken away. So I waited and looked over the menu some more, more people came in after I did and they asked the same questions I did also and I could tell by there face they were like really? After that I ordered something, but it cost extra $2 because I wanted to add something extra. Overall this being my 1st time there, it takes a accuried taste to like the teas there and high priced.

Service is poor. Inconsistent discount for service member. I came 4 seperate occasion and every time, the policy changed. The owner should train employee to take ownership of their mistake rather than make the customers bear the consequences of their actions. Totally not recommended.

I love the authentic and fresh taste of the tea here. It was brewed by real tea, not just being mixed by powder like other place. My favorite is Kungfu Oolong milk tea with boba.

I first tried bubble tea from kung fu tea a few months ago; and I was a little too adventurous with my choice. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Tonight, my friends and I enjoyed another trip to Kung Fu Tea. This time around, the oreo milk strike was the shiz...If you like the health nut, bourgeois, protein-shake after the gym, expensive, yuk diet-y bland, super-healthy drinks; this tea shop is ideal.If you want specialty drinks that are delicious, adventurous, and fun to watch being made by friendly authentic Asian tea specialists XD definitely check it out.Kinda Pricey though........(Bubble Tea is tapioca-like, which I learned the hard way.)No like tapioca? No drink bubble tea.

I was a relatively frequent patron here until my experience tonight where I was told I was not allowed to use my student ID discount 2x in 1 day. Ironically, that was the first time I had been there that day, but the management and barista were adamant that I had just been there earlier that day. I suggested that one of my classmates may have been there earlier, and the barista retaliated saying what, she also wears the same things you do? It is frustrating being mistook as someone else, and even more frustrating being accused of something you did not do.
