Very good fresh chicken and Goat & Beef shop. Affordable price and owner is very friendly. Any problem just let him know he will solve the issue. You can get paratha, roti, dry fish and all the other bengali spices.

We get fresh goat meat here. The only thing i doubt is the cleanliness of meat area especially when they cut fish and beef. My family dont eat beef so if they cut beef and again cut goat they feel bad as they feel its mixed. The owner is nice I wish they consider this seriously and cut chicken goat fish and lamb in one and cut beef in another machine. Or at least super clean it. Its a nice little place wish them success.

We shopped at Halal grocery . They are under in new management. This large beautiful store had everything we needed. The store is clean and staff is friendly. They always have fresh meats.Fast service and reasonable prices. We just loved it.

Its always a rushy place whenever we go to pickup ordered items. Luckily they take orders by phone so u can save some time. You would get all meaty products there.

They are selling expired frozen fish. Recently I bought 4 pompret fish where there was a sticker on the packet stating expiry is Oct 2021. When i removed sticker the actual expiry was Oct 2020. So please check expiry dates when you are buying any frozen items or even packed items.

Revised update: After several visits, I can not support someone who does not observe the proper weighing system which is a sin. The owner weighs the fresh meat then trims 0.5lb-1lb of “fat” then charges you for the original weight. The remaining meat still contains plenty of fat and mostly bone leaving you with very little edible meat. This was brought to his attention and he still did not recognize nor resolve this issue. Buyers beware, can purchase Halal Lamb @ Walmart for a 1/3 of the price.

The guy is very unprofessional and rude. He only caters to people who speak his language. I dont recommend buying anything here. The place is not under new management. Please spend your money where people show you respect .

Ive always had a positive experience at the Halal store. From the Seekh Kabobs to the Feta cream cheese, fresh fish and the Shahi Kulfi popsicles. Ive been pleasantly surprised with new flavors. I will be back!

They told us it was goat meat when it was lamb meat. Please don’t lie about your products. People could have food restrictions or allergies, this is so sad. At least be honest about the type of meat you sell! I can’t eat lamb cause I never did and can’t stand the smell! There’s a clear difference between goat and lamb, don’t fool people.Would give negative if I could, my husband had to wait for over 40 mins and he was disgusted with the lack of hygiene in the place. Never again.

I bought baby goat back leg. Meat is very hard and not good.

The guy is too rude. When i asked him the chicken does not look good to me, He says it is fresh, How can fresh meat be black in colour?? When asked him to get some other chicken, he says he has no more chicken left. Heard the rude behaviour from many friends too. Poor hospitality!! Hope the guy learns manners some day!

Worst customer service. Staff was very rude and demanding mainly the guy who does meat cutting. Never going back again. This guy is shouting at customers which I never saw. Not at all friendly. I would not even give 1 star rating.

Havent read all these negative reviews before I went there to buy chicken, the guy at the meat section was very rude in answering questions, despite that I tip him and to my surprise he throwed the meat package on the table, no deceny.The lady at the counter was not different, non polite and rude.But more surprise was awaiting when I opened chicken back home,it was all bones,very less meat.Will never return and with this I have stopped expecting fresh meat in va beach,Im ok with frozen or grand mart.

Terrible behavior!I was visiting the shop today after office to get some whole chicken and boneless chicken... When I asked the shopkeeper to cut the whole chicken into medium pieces and boneless chicken into small pieces, he suddenly started behaving very rude and said “you can cut chicken at home, I will do pieces according to my choice, not your choice. Cutting boneless chicken is not my job to do at free of cost.” And finally started shouting “Do I need to cook the chicken for you??”I got totally shocked...was standing Speechless and listening to all these ... I had no word for this father aged person’s behavior!His wife came running to stop him and apologized to us saying that “He had fight with another customer sometimes before and some machine stopped working today. So he is frustrated and behaving like that”Is that a justification for this horrible behavior!Too much unprofessional...doesn’t have manners to behave with customer properly.

I think your meat is from restaurant depot or may be cheap goat meat company that you are buying and you are selling to customer as baby goat meat on higher price, hard to cook your goat meat i have cooked in pressure cooker for 30 minutes and 20 minutes on stove top still hard as rubber i have tried your mutton chops and neck meat and leg meat and taste remain as rubber not even tenderised when we cook and your store smell meat allover when we enter in your store, your freezer has problem food packets has frost on all packets means tempreature is fluctuating is food gets bad in the packets and selling same food package to your customer i have tried frozen kababs not good when you thaw it and reheat dont taste good cause has frost bite.............................,in your reply you are saying its baby goat meat then why is not tenderising after 40 minutes of cooking your goat meat, anyway new halal grocery store is opening name call swagath will go there and they are going to sell all halal meats

I have been thier regular customer but I saw a continuous change in thier service negatively.Very rude behaviour with customers.They keep changing the prices however they want.The lie about meat they sell.They keep the stuff in the freezer and tell you they dont have it if you buy 2-3 lbs.They dont value your time.Very bad attitude.!! I WILL NOT GO HERE AGAIN AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE !!

Glad to find that they have a wider selection of meats than other places in the area. The staff was friendly and everything in the store is fairly priced as well.
