I was in the market for a vehicle. I needed something that would be reliable and would seat six to accommodate my four growing kids and wife. I was interested in getting out of my SUV and into a crew cab pickup that could be used to tow a camper we plan to buy in the near future. I dont know if you know this, but its difficult to find a crew cab, that seats six with a decent towing capacity that doesnt break the budget. After presenting this to the sales staff, they walked the lot and came back with a few ideas. We went through them and found, to my surprise, there were three such trucks on the lot that happened to be brand new! I had the reliability of a new vehicle under warranty, each with a tow rating that met my needs and all were crew cab that seat six! Bonus, they were equipped with a trailer brake already too! Thanks to my strong credit, and great rates of my personal credit union, I was able to afford this new truck. I didnt even know NEW was in my price range. I thought all new vehicles were going to be priced way over 40k, these three were under. Add to it my wifes discount GM offers for being a registered nurse and an acceptable value for my trade vehicle, and we had enough wiggle room to add a few more options I like such as spray-in bed liner and wall to wall floor mats. I am still wrapping my head around being the owner of a brand new vehicle but I can tell you I am excited! I started my day off at a competitor across the street and they couldnt do anything for me, to be fair I gave them one last chance once I told them what I found at GM, but there was still nothing they could offer that would come close. I thought I was going to have to spend a day out of town shopping at some mega-lot two hours away but was SOOOO PLEASED I got to stay local and not waste an entire day driving to find exactly what I needed. I do not recommend this place for any body work or mechanical. My truck was not assembled right the way it was. Front bumper is falling apart after only 3 months. Mechanical; ball joint broke after only 3 months of being replaced as well. Overall horrible work. Just take your some other more reliable place. Or whatever your insurance partners with to make sure this doesn’t happen to you here.

I called for dealership for recall work. I gave specific details on where to pick my vehicle up. I was called 3 hours after scheduled pick up and did not receive a message on why I was called. I called them back and was told they didnt know where to pick my vehicle up. Then I was told I wasnt even in their system. I had an airbag recall on a 2008 Cadillac Escalade and they looked at the airbag but didnt clear the dash light code. I was told they dont clear the codes after recall work is done. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.

DO NOT take your vehicle here for service! All I needed were my brakes checked and have the lines bled. Somehow they made it worse and broke off part of my bumper! Last time I take anything there! 0 starsUpdate: Told me a chip had malfunctioned and wanted $1000 to fix it when Im pretty sure they broke it themselves. Also, have a check engine light on that wasnt on before I took it in, probably broke something else so they can charge me for that too. Never did fix my bumper that they broke! Just glad to not have my truck there anymore!Update: Got my truck into a shop I trust. GM ruined the master cylinder when they bled the brake lines. So not only did I pay them to break something, they were going to replace a part that didnt need to be replaced. DO NOT do business with these con-artists!

Great place to purchase a new or used vehicle. Great sales people. Cody and Karlie was great to work with. I was unable to meet Sean, but was nice over the phone. The sales manager and finance guys were easy to work with and gave fair price for my trade. No haggle price on vehicle, rock bottom great low price from the get go. Makes the buying process as enjoyable as it can be. I highly recommend if youre looking to get a vehicle you give them a chance. I had a 9:00 Appointment for an oil change. My car was still not in the service area at 10:00. It was almost 11:00 before it was finished. This is unacceptable. I have waited before for up to an hour but never this long. I go to Norfolk Chevy for my GM rewards. However, I will not be returning. If you are already backed up by 9:00 am then something is wrong with your scheduling. Plus it cost me over $50! Usually around $31 so I am finished with this dealership for service.

Weve been getting oil changes on our vehicles done here for years. Today was another great experience, as always. Robert was very kind, explained little fixes they could make, and took the time to even engage with my daughter. Wait time was short, with 4 vehicle in front of mine. Would highly recommend the express lube for any one looking for professional, swift service!
The oil change was done in about 15 minutes and when I mentioned the handling problems on certain type roads it seemed like they were concerned with my displeasure with the vehicle. I said I would bring it back when they had more time to take it for a drive.

I had the most wonderful experience here! Right away there was no pressure and since I knew they only give one price that was one less step I had to take in purchasing a vehicle. They worked with us to get the best possible loan and did it with a bank that we already knew and liked. They gave the vehicle an inspection on my request with no hesitation. I’ve done business with Norfolk GM before, and always have been satisfied with the sales end of things (express lube has its downsides). Jamie was nice and welcoming, gave his brutally honest opinion on the vehicles, and was very helpful and knowledgeable about what was on hand, coming in, and the options on both. The pickup I went to look at was leaving for a test drive as I pulled up. Jamie, being the respectful guy he is, said he isn’t able to sell that one unless that buyer backs out. He took me back to look at another that hasn’t been through inspection yet and helped with what he could to get me into that vehicle before I left for a trip in under a week. Great guy to deal with making the whole transaction process easy.

Bought a used vehicle here in March 2020. Took it to my mechanic the next day to have it checked out, they told me it wasn’t even safe enough to be on the road. Brakes, struts, sway bar links, rotors, engine mount, ignition switch, and fuel purge valve all had to be replaced. Ended up putting just under $3,000 into it just to make it safe enough to drive. I paid less for the vehicle. And now 5 months later the transmission went out. So now I’m out of a vehicle. I repeatedly asked the salesman what was all wrong with the vehicle. He said nothing. Even had the mechanic come talk to me. He said they replaced the radiator and everything else looked great! My family and I have been buying our vehicles from there for more then 20 years from Dave Whalen! Never did we have any problems like this! I definitely will never go back to that place! Especially when I told them I was a single mom putting 3 kids in that vehicle.
Wife & I upgraded our truck, staff picked up on my wifes annoyance of being stuck at a car dealership instead of camping (we were in route to). Chris Nielsen, while we were wrapping up the finances, started moving all our camping gear from our old truck to the new one. Hes been extremely helpful every step of the way.

Be careful and bring a man with you...a woman by herself has to wait 2 plus hours to get help. Although my husband leaves home gets an oil change and is back home within an hour....I am still waiting after 2 and a half hour, sometime it sucks being a woman.
I have previously had great experience having my oil changed here. However, my latest experience was completely unacceptable. I called to arrange a service appointment because the same warnings I previously had in September 2020 were popping up. In September 2020, Darik did a wonderful job of communicating what the issue was at the time and what he recommended. I would still highly recommend Darik personally. When the same warnings started popping up last week, I googled it and discovered it was a very common problem in the make and model of my vehicle, and pertained to a bad sensor. I passed the warning messages I was receiving along to the person I scheduled the appointment with, making sure to mention this happened in September 2020. They then looked up my service history and read those notes to me verbatim. I verified and also requested they change my oil. They picked up my car at around 1:30 and I received a call that it was done right before 2:30. I asked if they figured out what the error messages were to which they replied, What error messages? So, I explained it all again and they said theyd call me back. The next call came in at 4:21 stating my car was done. I again asked what theyd figured out with the error messages and received the same question: What messages? I again explained what was happening and was told someone had checked those and my brake fluid was fine. Thats great but I didnt need my brake fluid checked as theyd just filled that in September, nor were the warnings just stating I needed brake fluid. It was then decided that my car would need to stay overnight since it was nearly 5 p.m. Thats fine, I had arranged for that after the call I received after 2 p.m. I waited the next day until 12:15 p.m. to finally call and see where we were on getting it done. I was then told, Yeah, its done. Someone checked and it needed brake fluid so we topped it off and took it for a test drive and cleared the messages out and its fine. I asked why I was told the brake fluid was fine yesterday and it was attributed to, Mustve been a miscommunication. So I requested they bring it back to me. Once I got in it to drive it, the dash immediately lit back up with a new warning: to check my tire pressure. I did have them rotate the tires during the oil change. Unfortunately while that was happening, I had two tire pressure gauges damaged or something because now I cant check the tire pressure on 2 of my tires. I will have to take it in (elsewhere) and have that serviced now, too. So basically I got an oil change, two non functioning tire pressure gauges, and $20.00 extra of brake fluid that I still dont know if I needed or not. Im really disappointed.

Was lied to about our vehicle. I asked the Saleman numerous times about why the spots behind the rear doors was a different color as I am aware they tend to rust there. He informed me that nothings been done there and not 2 months after we bought it rust started to show. I was lied to and won’t be back. Honesty can go a long ways when buying a vehicle.

The service has really gone downhill. They raised the price of an oil change. It seems they just charge what they feel like. When they vacuumed the floor on the drivers side, they just did it around the floor mat and didn’t lift it up to do under. If you’re gonna do it, do the whole floor otherwise don’t do it.
I recently purchased a 2018 Chevy Silverado from Edwin at Norfolk Auto Center and couldnt be more pleased with him and the whole staff there. I went up there from Lincoln intending on buying a certain truck. When it wasnt what I was looking for Edwin found me another one that I am pleased to say I purchased. There are a lot of choices to buy a vehicle from in Lincoln but glad I made the trip north!!

I have been a loyal gm customer my whole automotive life. Ive never had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from Norfolk Chevrolet but always looked there when vehicle shopping. Over the years I have taken my general motors vehicles there for certain repairs and always left feeling took and degraded since I hadnt purchased the vehicle from them. Well, this is the final straw took my 2017 Acadia in for rear ac service, which was over $1200, it is what it is, but today I tried closing my back hatch and the rear door molding was 1/2 off with glue and grease or freon idk, all over my bare bumper. Yep, bad customer pr, bad prices and now bad work.Ill never buy a vehicle from this place nor take one there for service!Out.

Sales team were all good and easy to work with. No hassle and very informative. However the service department I want to give a zero stars. Took my vehicle there a few months ago for break work and windshield wiper problems. They ran diagnostics on it and called me to inform what the problems were and a quote for the price. I told them to go ahead with the repairs while I was at work. When I went to pick up my vehicle it wasn’t done yet and the technician said that the repairs fixed the wiper issue but not the anti lock break problem so they did another part (without asking me first). After that the problem still wasn’t fixed and they said the next step would be to replace the wheel hubs for $400. I told them no, because I had just replaced the driver side a few months prior myself for a lot cheaper and the passenger side approximately a year ago. Since then I have drove the vehicle and the breaks are fine, but the wiper issue was not fixed and the wiper issue is actually worse than before. I wonder how many other people they rip off and “fix” parts that don’t need to be? I will never take a vehicle there again, and probably will never consider buying a vehicle there if that is how they service them.

Wait time was kind of long but average I suppose considering I was there without an appointment. Staff was friendly and the waiting area is large and comfortable. Plenty of beverages there for people waiting I assume though it was never offered to me so not 100 percent sure.

There were several options of vehicles to choose from in our price range, so we went back the next day and test drove three. Dennis was open and honest with us and not pushy at all. He provided advice and suggestions and helped guide us towards the correct fit for our family situation. We were able to drive home in our first vehicle purchased on our own. We are confident we received a good, solid vehicle at a fair price. We had it checked out by a mechanic and it received 100% approval. We love our new car!
