Gave me an honest opinion of repairs to my Galaxy S10, and recommended using my own providers insurance which turned out to be much cheaper. The tech was very up front and honest, and just wanted to give me the best option to fix my phone for the best price. Originally I thought I was getting a good deal. 50$ to repair the back of my IPhone . I took it in on Saturday around 1pm and they told me it would’ve done by 5. They called and then told me it was taking longer then expected and that I’d have to wait another day and that it would be ready by noon on Sunday. Sunday at 1230 I drove in without a call or anything and when I got there they then informed me they screwed up and needed another hour. That hour went by and I got a call only this time my phone isn’t working now because they broke it with their laser whatever that means... so THEY BROKE MY PHONE!!! I still had to pay 50$ for a different Refurbished phone. And then had to call Verizon to explain what happened so they could connect the new device. These people are hacks but if you want to chance it go ahead i do not recommend it at all.

31 January 2021The guys at CPR Cell phone repair Norfolk, Va location are very courteous and professional. I had cracked my phone on the way to church that morning and I couldn’t get to their store until after 2:45. Although the closed at 5 they assured me that they could squeeze me into fix my phone before they closed. I will recommend to all my family and friends to visit this location because the great experience I had. Thank fellas.

I needed the battery replacement for my very old iPhone - so of course I went to CPR - JANAF location. I arrived at my appointment time, was warmly greeted by Gary at the front counter. After a short chat - Gary and Justin - (the tech) determined that they could help me. Neither had ever met me before, but it felt like they were old friends. The time estimate was 1 - 1 1/2 hours so I headed out to run some errands. 31 minutes later, I was notified that my phone was ready for pick up!! Go see Gary & Justin at JANAF CPR (cell phone repair) for all your cell phone repair needs - battery, screen/back replacement, etc.

I was beside myself with a phone that nonfunctional. Gary greeted me and said “relax”. He and the manager, Jesse took a few moments from their busy schedule to reset my phone at no charge. Those men were happy to help me and I was in minutes. Thank you so much, you both made my day, week and so far the year! I’ll be back and will recommend your service to all.

Great service! I dropped my phone in the bay and retrieved it and thought is was a loss. I took in to CPR Cell Phone Repair Norfolk and they were able to save the phone using their 3 day drying out process. What I appreciated is that instead of just saying I needed any number of new parts, they said they could keep it for 3 days to try the drying out process and if that didnt work, they would need to determine if it could be saved by replacing parts. The 3 day process worked for my phone. I was elated because I wanted to keep the phone for a multitude of reasons AND it saved me a lot of money. Additionally, after I had it back for awhile it developed a glitch and again, instead of pushing expensive services I didnt need, they were able to ID and fix it within a few minutes. It was just an odd setting that had to be turned off. I appreciate all of the help given me by Justin, Jesse & Gary. I highly recommend this repair shop.

My PS4 had a glitchy HDMI port. Brought it in and was told a week turnaround. I was 100% okay with that. Surprise surprise I get a call 3 days later saying it was all done and ready for pick up. Works great. Hopefully I never need to go back, but if I do, I know where I am going!

Poor customer service. I advised the tech I was quoted a lower price by a competitors location. He replied, Good Luck, and then he turned on his heels and walked to the back room without another word.

Got my camera fixed on my iPhone 11 for a reasonable price and quick too!! So pleased with my experience with them.

Normal interactions but their email system is a little off. They estimated a week to repair my device. After 13 days I called them to inquire about my device, they said they had emailed me 2 days after the drop off. Inbox, spam folder, and trash only produced 1 email. Havent op-tested the product yet. Fair pricing.

Came in with a cell phone that would not take a charge. The employee was able to clean it to make it work.I will definitely be coming here for future electronic repairs, and I will be recommending CPR to all my friends and family!

We had a great experience getting our ipad screen fixed here. It was 200$ to fix our old ipad generation 2 screen. They were on time and very nice to work with.

I called regarding my iPad. The tech I talked to was patient and explained what I needed without mansplaining.I thought my screen was cracked. Based on an internet search, their price was very reasonable. When they removed the screen protector (after I had left) turned out that the screen was not cracked, just the protector was cracked. It was returned to me with no charge. Again, the tech was very pleasant and understanding when they could have charged me for a new screen and I never would have known.This is the second time we have gone to this locations, the first time for a cell phone issue.I highly recommend.

I went there to make a deposit for the charging port on my Galaxy Note 10 plus because I couldnt get my charger to stay in and charge my phone. The guy I forgot his name unfortunately but he checked it and found out there was dirt inside, cleaned it out and now I dont have any problems charging my and he didnt charge me anything.

My buddy got hes screen replaced here 3 times in less than a months time. He dropped it without a case so he goes here to replace it, they fix it for $80, he drops it again and they charge him another $80. Later hes cutting tomatoes and he thinks the tomato juice got under the screen, they charge him another $80. Then a few days after that the screens not responding (He didnt drop or or get it wet) they tell him its hes fault the screens not responding to touch and itll be another $80.Do Not Do Business With This Company!

I had an iPad with a broken screen and an iPhone 8 that was absolutely shattered to bits on both sides with a bent case. They were able to fox both of them within a week and the price was great it will definitely save you from buying a new iPhone and iPad.

It was great service and the work was done on time. They even notified me when it was ready to be picked up. Great place would use them again hopefully wont need to but it if I do they will fix it again

First time getting my phone repaired Justin helped me figure out what was wrong with my phone and told me that it would cost x amount of money. Justin seemed to be knowledgeable about what he was doing and that he seemed confident in his ability to repair my phone.

I originally gave this location a 5 star review for being honest and fair, but recently my mom got her battery replaced and they broke her iphone. It was her fault because the phone had “water damage”. It was working perfectly fine before it was brought in. Not to mention it never had water damage. They have now lost several customers. Called first to make sure they had the part to fix my husband iPhone, and they did got there dropped it off told me it’ll be an hour. Came back and it was fixed within the hour. They’re great and move quickly.

Took an Android in around 12, to have screen repaired. Have taken in at least 3 Iphones over the past year or so and have paid no more than $65-$85 any given today..Quoted today of over $100 including a $25 bench fee which Ive never been told before and a return time of Monday OR Tuesday, although a customer ahead of me was quoted an hour for a similar fix on an iphone. I decided to just get another phone, as it would be more cost effective since phone was Android and cost less than screen quote. This new guy who Ive never seen before was very condescending after I declined their service. Ive always been met with good customer service previously..Interesting...

They’ll try to hustle you. Went to get my screen fixed. Said it would be 80 for the screen and would take a few hours. Then said the frame needed to be replaced for another 100. Told them no thanks and went somewhere else that did the screen for 75 and in an hour.

Justin was great help he cleaned out my charger port for a great price.

I called at like 1pm something today to get my son phone fix, I dropped it off about 2 by 3 I was picking my son phone up fixed and working like new!! Thank you sooooo much & the cost wasn’t that bad either!! Will def recommend & will use again !!

Fast easy and inexpensive

Took phone in for screen to be fixed and phone was taken back 3 times to be fixed and phone doesnt work after they worked on it, when called to talk to them about it had to deal with a snobby attitude and they telling me I wont be going anywhere else to have it fixed cause 3 times they couldnt fix the problem they cause it was just a screen replacement 3 take back and 3 weeks late no fixed phone? Then going to try and tell me and get an attitude when I tell them they were the only ones to work on it and have the paperwork. Very unprofessional and disrespectful employees that will NEVER recieve support or anything from me EVER again

When I picked it up, the screen was lifting from phone, which I have never seen before.Story time: I took my phone in about a month ago. When I left, I gave the store 4 STARS.I used the Liquipel Screen Protector and that DID NOT work!!I go back to this CPR Norfolk location because of thier customer service and work from the first time. Well, after they replaced the screen I noticed that I would have to push extra hard on the screen. I restarted my phone and gave it to the next morning. I went back, they saw what I was talking about, deleted some things and said it was working better. I sat in my car for about 5-10 mins playing with my phone. The problem persisted but it wasnt as bad. I go back in and he says to delete more things off of my phone. Because there was prior water damage, there was no warranty.I took it home hoping it was start to act better. IT DIDNT! I have to push so hard on the screen and it takes more time to text.Between the time I was going to write this review ( like an hour ago) and now, I have dropped my phone. Not only did the screen crack, with a protector on it, by the way, but the screen has lifted. I have NEVER seen that!

Brought an iPhone 6 in to get repaired. Was quoted a very reasonable amount. Ended up being just a bit less. Less than half what apple store will charge. Screen replaced in about an hour. Just walked around northern tools for a while and came back to a fixed like new phone. Only cost me $15 for a phone case due to customer discount. All and all I’d say I’m super satisfied.

Don’t even waste your time going here. I enjoyed their services while I’ve used them before however most recently. Took my phone in for a cracked screen and got it back not even put together fully and with a damaged battery which they refuse to fix. You’re better off talking to Apple and paying full price, at least they’ll take care of it if they damage it

This place is shady as hell. They make you sign a waiver so theyre not responsible for any damages of defects AFTER they complete the repair. I know multiple people whos repairs have been messed up and CPR refuses to accept any responsibility for it.Dont be fooled by cheap prices. Its worth paying that little bit extra for good service!

Good service does what they say they will do

They are ok just dont expect many updates from them on the status of your cell phone repair. Also this being there first repair with a Motorola phone there was a lackluster updates on what was happening and the next steps involved.

Omg!!!! I walked in with a screen that was busted and terrible looking!!! He price was sorta high to me but I still paid it to get my phone fixed!!! Very polite from the moment you walk in!!! Very helpful to me so I’m appreciative of this company!!!

Horrible Service ! Came in to have something repaired on my phone and the guy Jesse who serviced me told me I need to pay when my phone was opened with out my knowledge and no service was done to it .

Had my HTC M10 build-in battery replaced this month of September 2019... the repair was good, but the outer edges of the case was damaged with whatever tools they used to pry open the screen to work inside to replace the battery inside that resulted with knife scrape and cut marks around the cases edges... When I submitted the phone, it did not have any exterior damages or marks due to being kept in a custom outer case.

I love how they handled my phone. The staff were friendly and will to answer any questions I had. They have high grade assesories and a affordable price. Plan on going back for the screen protector.

I had an overall good experience. I brought my phone in because my screen had went completely black. They got it fixed and returned to me in less than a day. I just wished that the reason behind the blackout was explained to me, but that was partly my fault because I didnt ask.

Wow was I excited to hear that these guys were able to repair the cracked screen of my 9 month old cell phone?! Signed up for the repairs and was told I would get a call on either of the 2 numbers I left on the CPR Customer form as soon as the part came in. Well after almost 3 weeks past, I had to call them to find out if the part came in. It did! So 4 hours before closing, I bring in the phone and leave it for repairs. I was told it would take 3-3.5 hrs to be repaired and they would call me when it was ready. I should have known better. Gave them a call 3.5 hours later to find out the part that they had ordered and never called me about was defective and that I could come back and get the phone. They would close at 7pm on this day and our conversation occurred at 6:45p. When I made it to the location, it was 7:05p and of course they were closed.In short, they drop the ball too often for me. Why say you are going to call me when a part comes in or to pick up my phone? I can wait for my phone to be serviced. I dont want to use them again.

They replaced my iPod Classic battery after I was having some problems with it. Its been at least a few months since the repair and Ive had no more issues. Their replacement of the battery fixed all the issues and it works flawlessly. I visited the Chesapeake location today for my iPhone 4 battery and at that location they repaired it and seems to be working great so far as well. Will wait a few more days to put my review for that store as I test it out more.
