Mike the store owner is a fantastic man whos inventory is so complete for any Mariner. He deserves to go back on the water. His work has truly been gods work in providing people with the things they need and now he needs someone to buy his store so he can retire. God bless

I love this place... a lil bit of everything you can think of for your boat, sailboat or powerboat... wet suits, water skins, knee boards... you name it its there... very polite guy behind the counter as well, very knowledgeable about sailing... only thing I didnt find were charts...

I’ve done consignment with Mike at Salty Dog several times and he always seems to sell my stuff and get me exactly what I’m asking for. He is fair, his prices are very fair, and if he doesn’t have what you’re looking for, there’s a 99% chance he will have it the next day for you. I recommend stopping here first you can go the big marinas and pay a good 20%+ extra and not get the friendly service. I have bought everything from hardware to electronics here. Best place for boat and water supplies.Stopped in Norfolk on our way south in our sailboat. By the time we had reached Norfolk we had a list of things we wanted/needed for the boat. A local referred us to Salty Dogg and it was great. We found it all and even some things we didnt even think of. Alot of the stocknis used or salvage which is really cool and the prices are the best Ive ever seen.The icing on the cake was Mike, the proprietor. Hes sailed his boat to the Bahamas 6 times and is an endless wealth of useful knowledge and is happy to chat, offer tips and advice, and share ideas.Next time through, Ill stop in just cause its such a cool place.
