I enjoyed shopping for spiritual items and bought my first candle 🕯 while traveling to Virginia at Velvet Witch. I decided to order another one online to Texas. To my surprise it was perfect! love ❤️ the message inside, packaging and shipment. I paid for priority, it’s was worth every penny. I was notified of shipment every step of the way. Thank you so much Velvet Witch. I highly recommend going in to the store if you in Virginia or ordering online. Great customer services either way you decide to shop.

I recently got into crystals and spirituality as a whole. I was looking for a nice place to buy some crystals and this place is the place to go! They have so many very nice crystals, 100% would recommend. I’m very happy with my experience and I intend on returning. :)

Came here for the first time with a friend. It was a wonderful vibe here and I absolutely loved the theme and atmosphere. It’s a smaller shop with limited items so I wasn’t able to find anything I really really liked. A lot of the items here are very cute but very overpriced. I’ll come back another time to check out the change in selection next time to see if I like anything! Thank you!

Ashley provides phenomenal crystal healing services. She gave me a lot of incredible insight & information on my past lives, as well as accurate readings & messages from my Ancestors & spirit guides. The experience was enlightening & very confirming for me. I will be back.

The ladies were very helpful and accommodating while I was shopping. The tarot card reading was also very insightful and in depth =) so many things to look at and choose from. The store also had very nice calm vibes

The velvet witch is so unique and has a new-age occultist vibe. Each item for sale seemed hand selected to fit the shops aesthetic, which is I would describe and feministic and empowering. Don’t let my descriptor dissuade you if this theme is something you don’t identify with. This shop has something for everyone, from crystals to tarot.

Had a tarot card reading with Ashley. I felt like it was spot on with what is happening in my life. Gave me some clarity in where I am transitioning to. The shop is super cute with unique items. I loved everything about my visit here 💗💗💗Everyone was welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Really cool shop! Had a good selection of tarot card and oracle card decks, although I did think they were kind of pricey. Really loved the crystal selection and how knowledgeable the salesperson was about the crystal I bought. I also really enjoyed the vibe and the layout of the store.

My friend came into the shop today and told me her experience, she did not want to leave a review because she said she would come back. A young women with short hair was standing in the back of the shop on her phone the entire time, she did not engage my friend, and when she went to her to ask questions she just hummed and basically ignored her. She said she went there for good vibes and support local small businesses because of the good reviews about the shop and the shop owner Ashley but did not particularly enjoy her experience due to the women being too busy on her phone.I am only writing this review for my friend because I, also, support local businesses but with the customer experience my friend was subjected to doesnt happen to much more picker customers than she is.

Was a little worried since its such a small shop and the limited variety of items. They seem to mostly deal in crystals and the more mundane sort of things. The fact that my items where cleansed before bagging them however was very appreciated tho and made for a pleasant experience. If Im in the area again I would stop by and see if they have anything new.

Very cool store!! Love the ambiance and area ot is in! The architecture of the neighborhood gives old European vibes. It definitely adds grace to the unique atmosphere. The bath products are some of my absolute favorites and locally handmade. #supportlocalbusiness their hand woven blankets are fantastic, and the hand woven pillows are quite the find! Items you will find no where else. And possibly the best most comfortable masks Ive found yet!

It seems as though I was called to this store vibrations. Usually, Id park and just walk from the garage out to the street and hit the library. Friday was different and I felt it my first time in an entire month today I was going through the hotel! I first walked by I was in a hurry. But my body knew it needed something my mind was aware of YET. FWD, walking back to car. I read Velvet Witch and STOPPED! There you are I said and I must have been glowing, joy because the owner said youre in a good mood I said, no its the energies of the crystals. I was super impressed with her clearly them!!! The space has great energy and a fun collection of art, magical items and books. I really love the aesthetic - cool art and a modern, fresh look.They do tarot readings as well. I absolutely love this store! The whole experience from the moment you walk in. The owner is super friendly, the energy is calm and welcoming and the items are fun and unique.I first visited the store back when it was in Selden Arcade and cannot wait to see how well it’s going to do on Colonial Avenue!It’s such a fun place, and I will be back to buy more goodies and make new friends!

Such a warm and welcoming little shop. Everyone I have encountered has always been warm and friendly and the selection of items they carry are unique. I felt comfortable asking questions about the different items they carried and I am excited they are starting to do mini classes as well (they are going to have one on crystals!). I highly recommend checking this magical shop out if you find yourself in the Norfolk area, you will not find yourself disappointed.

Thought the person running the shop was a customer at first by the way they were wandering around the shop talking loudly about their apparently failing relationship and continuing a FWB type relationship with significant other.The only acknowledgement I received was when i was leaving. Very few items to choose from.
