They not only help you find what you need but will also come outside with you and install it for free for you. I went in needing new headlight bulbs and windshield wipers. They showed me my options and then came outside and put them in for me! Very friendly staff too.

Um yea - this used to be a great place. So I go on line, order the part,which says - this part is an exact match for your vehicle. So I put it in my virtual cart, pay with my real credit card. I get an email - your part is in - sweet - I drive 25 minutes - 1 way - upon arrival Im told oh no we dont have your part, but Main st. does. So I drive to the Main St. store, its 10 minutes away. They make phone calls to make sure I paid, I did, I ask for a receipt, oh well thats at Clearwater - we cant print that out, I go drive another 10 minutes, get back to Clearwater, only to hear oh we cant print that out now. I dont know how. Um okay? I did grumble though. I take the part home, another 25 minute drive, upon the part now being installed we find out - it IS THE WRONG PART. I had to then go to the Market St store to finally get the correct part. WHAT THIS is not --> IT IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS or GOOD customer service. THE ONLY STORE THAT TREATED ME RESPECTFULLY was Market st. Thank you Market St for ending the madness of a merry-go-round situation. My vehicle is officially repaired with the correct part. Advanced - Clearwater & Main St. 1 star / ADVANCED ON MARKET ST.....5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
I was the only customer in store. Some sheep behind the counter put a mask on when I walked in, and then proceeded to tell me I needed to do the same. He was not profesional about it at all. I even asked why his nostils were not covered by his mask, and he just ignored that. Didnt care about my health, or anything else. Just a lil boy that thinks he has power. Owell, I am done with Advanced after that Maskhole. Plenty of other places to get parts.

He was willing to assist me SUPER quickly. In and out and back to work right on time!! One of the better versions of advance in the area. Aside from their computer system not working properly, the workers are great. Everyone is helpful and friendly. The only thing stopping 5 stars is the fact that they are not given the proper equipment to do their job effectively.

Generally a pretty good experience and since theyre willing to put the parts on for free so I dont have to mess with changing batteries headlights and stuff like that wiper blades they put them on for free stuff like that more than makes up for the occasional lapse in customer service or product availability
The place was busy, looks like the majority of the staff is new and green. One person seemed to answer all the questions,answer the phone, get receipts.

Great service. I brought in a defective battery that I purchased at this store and the staff replaced it, no flack given. They even helped me with the battery out to my car. This is my neighborhood auto store and Im grateful that its a good one.
Had to stop in first thing on a cold day while it was raining. Within seconds of entering the store we were asked how we could be helped.We expained what was going on with our car and explained that it was dying but starting back up, and we would like him to test the battery and alternator to see if that was the problem.He put on his rain coat and took his computer out in the rain to check our car. He told us the readout was fine and there were no problems with either the battery or alternator.Then he told us that Hondas have a problem with the distributor cap and coils and that he really thought that was the problem.Well the part was over $200 and of course he explained you cant return it once it is purchased as it is a non returnable item.We figured since the battery and alternator tested fine maybe he was right.He continued to explain how to replace the part on the car and said people have changed them in his lot before. He said he had the tools if we need to use them and explained everything I needed to do.My friend called his mechanic friend who was willing to install it for $125 but I told him it sounded like something I could do.Advance Auto Parts really came through on this and saved us a lot of money and time by explaining why he thought this was the problem and the proper way to install the part.After we installed the new cap and coils the car ran and started excellent! He diagnosed the problem correctly and we got the car back on the road very quickly.Greg was the guy that helped us and I must say he is really very knowledgeable and very helpful. He didnt complain about the weather and tell us to come back later, he did his job and he went above and beyond to diagnose the problem and he made sure we knew how to install the part.Honestly this has been the best experience I have had at any of the auto part stores and I will make sure I return to this store for all of my parts.Thank You Greg!! Fast service
I went to Advanced after having to jump start my vehicle due to my battery being dead. The employee tested my battery (from the front of my vehicle and the battery is in the trunk) and told me it was good. Then later on in the day, I got back in my vehicle and it was dead again. So I jumped it for a second time, and then went to a different auto shop where they completely emptied my trunk out for me, got to the battery in my trunk, and determined that it was indeed the culprit. I did not recieve this kind of outstanding service at Advanced, unfortunately. If I would have my car would not have died for a second time in one day.

I had an issue with a set of wiper blades and instead of going in the store and asking for the mgr because I purchased them on there web site for some reason I thought I should contact Advance through there web site.For some reason I did not get a reply at all which didnt help any however little did I know the District manger was well aware and assumed like most normal people, I had gone into the store and left there not any happier by my problem not being solved so he in turn contacted Greg Prewitt the store manager wanting an explanation as to why things were not taken care of better and at that point Greg knew nothing about me or my wiper blades. I am guessing only minutes passed before Greg called me about the situation ready to step into this and do what he needed to do to help me and had the authority to do it as fast as I could get to his store. As you might guess with 5 stars he did just that. After meeting Greg I see why Advance has him running that store. Being in retail 35 years I have to say he could not have done one thing better. I have to credit the district mgr Roy Allen with addressing my needs fast and to my satisfaction as well. I just wish I had gone into the store in the beginning like most other customers would. NO doubt I did myself or anyone else any favors going the direction I did, a lesson learned even at my age . Thanks to Advance Auto!!
