Prices are decent but the staff is not always helpful. I enjoy the bogo deals as I am able to find great shoes for my daughter but you are definitely left to fend for yourself in there.

Rude uncooperative staff. I went to purchase a new pair of running shoes. I was prepared to spend $200 in the store on a pair of Airmax Nike 270. While they didn’t have the exact shoe I was looking for; they had a few other Nike’s that I wanted to try on.The cheaper shoes have both shoes in the box. I tried a pair on and then tried on a pair of Nike Airmax which only had one shoe in the box. I hobbled to find an associate and was told by the lady at the register to ask the ladies chatting with each other in the back of the store to retrieve the other shoe for me. After hobbling back with one shoe on, I asked the associate for the mate to this shoe so I could try it on. I was told I could not try on the mate. Puzzled, I asked why? I was told it would only be given to me at the register, after I paid for the shoes. I explained that the shoe I was wearing was rubbing on my heel and I wanted to try on the opposite shoe to see if it rubbed (I believe my heel was tender before trying on the shoe). I was told no. I explained I wanted to purchase these shoes but I came into the store expecting to be able to check the comfort and fit first. **Spoiler alert** I was not allowed to try on the shoes, no apologies, no explanation, rude!I came home and ordered directly from Nike. The shoes are being delivered Thursday. Free shipping plus a 60 day return window if I am not happy with them. I was trying to buy local to keep area businesses in our community; but I received zero customer service and was treated like I was going to steal the shoe. The clerk could have held myID while I tried it on, or she could have simply taken the shoe that was in the box and traded with me. The bottom line is that she was uninterested in assisting the customers. When you can’t get service, you shop online! I will never go back.

This place is fantastic in its own right but if you have a family this is the place to go. For school time and Christmas especially if you have teens shoe carnival cannot be beat. They have a bogo buy one get one half off. They also send you $10 off coupons for rewards depending on how much you spend. I just got 2 adidas a pair of Nikes, filas and boots all for my kids all for $200 for 5 kids. Those are their big Christmas gifts and theyre shoes. Kids always need and love shoes.I highly recommend going if you need shoes you get the best bang for your buck.

But still feel like prices are a bit more than what Id like to spend..(for clearance items anyways) .. the selection is versital, but doesnt quite suit my preferences. Need more skate shoes!

First time customer on 2/5/18 and was happy with the service I received from the staff. I explained what I was looking for, they showed me the selection and told me about their sales. I went in looking for 1 pair of boots- I walked out with 3 items.Also, a side note- the music playing in the store was pretty good! I just about almost did a Season 7 Katya Double-Jump Cartwheel Split!

Its a chain show store. The associates were nice & I got a chance to spin the discount wheel.

Looked at signs and shoes were marked buy one get one 1/2 off... asked and was told yes thats correct. When rang up it did not do 1/2 off and they wouldnt honor verbal confirmation. Lost my business.

I had an absolutely terrible experience today! Me and my mom were shopping at shoe carnival trying to spend $100 at their store. We were shopping with an expectation of being able to use their advertisement coupons from the newspaper for our purchases. The Blonde girl who was the cashier refused me to use my coupon that was one day late when I had spent the expected amount for the coupon to be valid she just wasnt willing to help us out. I feel she had a bias against me because they declined to give their company my phone number and other information I was little disappointed with how this all worked out. I was to be an associate at Bergners, we would accept coupons over 5 days late. Its very surprising to me how shoe carnival wont accommodate their consumers!06/27/20 After i bought three pairs of shoes at same shoe carnival in the last 3 months and Ive had to return all three because Ive had the same problem with the heel digging into my foot and tearing up the heel on the inside of my shoe. making it to the shoe carnival and return my broken shoes Id spoken to them on the phone three different times they told me all I had to do is bring my shoes, the shoe receipt and that theyd be able to give me a refund. Today when I showed up the manager named Kayla was refusing to accommodate me and my purchases, all she was telling me she could do was give me store credit and she couldnt pay me back,I dont want to keep buying shoes from this company they keep tearing and breaking, baught me a pair from Walmart for fifteen bucks and theyre still usable. now all I want is my money back $80 thats a pretty big purchase and she wasnt willing to help accommodate me. and yes of course the shoes have been worn thats why Im returning them because they did not work out they did not last and because of coronavirus I was not able to stop in the store and make the return earlier because all the stores are shut down so now the store was finally open for the first day and I tried to make this return and she was not going to let it fly. I got my shoes at the beginning of March and they were already torn up by the end of April. I have not worn the shoes since I feel like I deserve a full refund. she told me she couldnt provide the refund because my shoes were worn, well of course they were worn thats why I find out they were torn and didnt fit correctly.I literally wore these shoes for one month and they already broke downif you went to a restaurant because they were having bad dining service, would you ever return to that restaurant? No. this is just an example of why i dont want to have store credit to buy another pair of shoes from the store. apparently their product isnt worth buying and I dont want it.On Monday will be calling headquarters and Im sure Ill be getting my money back. If not Ill take it further,06/29/20, Monday I ended up getting my money back, after we made a few calls to corporate and then we made four trips back to and from the store.We felt offended being called a liars in public in front of not only other managers & multiple staff members, all the other customers in the store. This was a huge battle that was very unnecessary, but I ended up proving my correctness and getting my money back, we just dont appreciate being called liars!No apologies were given by anybody from shoe carnival, no customers will get any refund back unless they act like a Karen while demanding your money back!This is a time where people dont have very much money, during this pandemic, this isnt a time where we are going to allow stores to rip customers off while trying to pull the wool over our eyes. They straight up lied to our face about whether or not they even sold at shoe brand. Its not fair and its not right especially with everything going on in the world right nowGood luck other people!

Lots of options, got a good simple pair of dress shoes while visiting Bloomington.They had a really good clearance section that actually had the best options for mens shoes. I saw Tevas at a good price, and the dress shoes I got were a good deal on sale too.
