We absolutely love working with the the team at the ISU Speech and Hearing Clinic. When we first learned of our daughters pediatric hearing loss 2 years ago, we reached out to an audiologist at the clinic to learn more about her diagnosis and our next steps.We made the decision to transfer her hearing services to the clinic and have been very satisfied with the care she has received. Every audiologist and graduate student has been professional and taken great care to make sure that we feel educated on her diagnosis. The staff has also been very valuable in helping us understand how we can best support and advocate for her.We have had several hearing tests done at the clinic and also ordered all of her equipment needs through ISU -- hearing aids, custom ear molds, FM system, etc.We love this team!

I have brought my son here for 3 or 4 years for speech. The staff that works with him are amazing! Never had a bad experience and they understand him so well. He never has a problem going to speech every week. Best thing for his speech that has happened.

I can’t say enough nice things about the Speech and Hearing Clinic! My son has been attending speech services for the last seven months. The services have made a world of difference for him. He’s discovered the power of language and is exploring what a powerful tool it is for human interaction. Every single person in the clinic is amazing! The office support staff are amazingly kind, clinicians are so caring and work hard to engage and teach, and the clinical educators are full of ideas and resources that we have found invaluable! The passion of everyone shows in the care provided.

The staff at the clinic are always very friendly, accommodating, and super helpful. The hearing exam was more thorough than I expected and the results made the selection of the new hearing aids be a perfect fit. The person giving me the exam and fitting my hearing aids asked great questions, made sure I understood what the choices were, and took all the time needed to make sure I knew how to care for and use my hearing aids. I live in Normal, Illinois, so the location was very convenient. They gave me a paring pass that was very helpful. I highly recommend the clinic for anyone who has, or who others say, needs some help with their hearing!!

Ive been going CI therapy for at least 4 years and all the therapist been very helpful, patience and helped me to learn how to used CI in proper way. Ive learn to distinquished the difficult sound and direction of the sound. Each weeks Ive learn to listen to the words or short sentences without looking at the therapists lips is a big plus. Im glad I did go for the CI therapy and it was well worth it!

My three year old son has attended the ISU Speech and Hearing Clinic since August. We have had a great experience so far! I have seen a great improvement in his speech skills. They always use creative ways to engage him in his activities. I am looking forward to seeing all he achieves as we continue.

The Speech & Hearing Clinic has been a blessing for our little guy! We have worked with multiple professors, clinicians and graduate assistants in the Speech and Hearing Clinic over the past year and a half. Everyone is more than willing to go the extra mile to connect and help my son. When one approach doesnt work, they try another. When he succeeds, the clinicians and graduate assistants are just as excited as I am! I would highly recommend the ISU Speech and Hearing Clinic.

They are there any time that we need anything to do with Rons hearing aids. They have no problem with sending hearing aids back to the manufacturer for them to check out and repair.

My experiences with the ISU Speech and Hearing Clinic have been wonderful. I bring my mother to Bloomington Normal for their hearing services from over an hour away because of the great care given to her by the graduate students and the supervising Audiologists. Everyone we have worked with has been extremely friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. My mother and I enjoy giving students an opportunity to learn, and in turn, we feel she is benefiting from the most current research, technology, and comprehensive testing. The hearing aids she purchased have worked well at the nursing home and we are happy that they so similar to what she was previously wearing due to her Alzheimer’s.
