Great service and great prices

I am a longboard and wood artist, the founder of Jaklboards Handpainted Longboards and Wood Art, and I went to Norman Door and Plywood for the first time looking for a nice piece of scrap plywood for a painted commission for a client in Australia. The owner literally walked me through the entire place, taking time to show me all the boards and scrap wood he had available, even giving me wood for free that he didnt need. I walked in thinking I would be buying a single board for one project, and I walked out with an incredibly priced solid piece of Red Oak wood that is gorgeous, and a huge armload of lovely maple plywood that is far superior to anything Ive seen at big box stores. The other employees there are also very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this place to anyone. From my experience working with wood as an artist, the wood here is lovely and beautiful, and will stain a wonderful rich color with nice grains. I will definitely be shopping from here from now on, and when my fiancee and I get ready to buy a house in Norman or do any kind of renovations and projects, this is where we will source all our lumber. Im so grateful to the owner for taking so much time to help me, even though I came in to buy something extremely small.
