I came in today to purchase my first firearm and everyone was so helpful. They went through the different types of guns, how to hold them, take them apart and put it back together. Both the owner and staff were extremely helpful with familiarizing me with handguns, My boyfriend and his friend buy their ammo here regularly and maintain that Treeline is the best gun store around. I have a savage axis long action 6.5 creedmoor rifle and i was having issues with eye relief and the owner took his time to put a 1913 rail onto my gun. I bought a Fear116 in June 2020 . It’s an Semi-Auto shotgun. When I walked in the service was Outstanding. They had no problem letting me see/hold an investigate any firearm I wanted to. An after a hr of them not knowing if I was buying or window shopping I purchased a shotgun. Prices fair but the service was excellent. I recommend you check them out.

Made the mistake of not reading reviews before having a couple lowers shipped here over a holiday weekend.$200, for FFL transfer of two stripped lowers is not a reasonable price. There are several shops in the area that charge significantly less. I understand the higher demand, but $100/ea is about double what it should have been.The transfer itself was quick, but the parts were delivered a whole week before I got a call notifying me they were ready.Wont go back.Below is a reponse from the owner. I agree with their point that its important to know the details, thats why I am trying to help others make a better decision than I did.I was up against a clock and several things I wanted to buy had already sold out. That was my mistake. Wont happen again, Ive already identified another FFL.I cant speak for the time the background checks are taking, as my background check was complete in under 3 minutes, like I said above it was fast, it just sat on their shelves for a week before the call to come in and start the process.

Ive bought from treeline a few times. Always had good experiences with the staff. On top of the regular inventory and their online store its one of the only places in this part of PA you can get M91/30s anymore. I know you can get them online but I like to handle them before purchase to check for matching parts and functionality and the staff is always very accommodating.

Ive been to gun stores all over PA and this is one of the best. The staff isnt going to try to push high-pressure sales tactics in an effort to get you to buy; theyre knowledgeable and theyll take the time to assist you with anything you need. Its a real deal family run business. Those are a lot rarer these days, and the care they show their customers is commendable. Now, Ive read some of the negative reviews on here and I think they need some context given the madness that was 2020. Is the transfer fee high? A bit. But guess what, its a mom-and-pop *community based business*. You buying here means youre reinvesting & supporting your neighbors in that community. If you want to penny pinch, go to Cabelas. Theyll sell you some overpriced lightweight j-frame you cant shoot well and get you outta there because they dont care. Its just a numbers game and Treeline needs to think ahead. This is a boom time for the gun industy... there *will* come a bust time when things go back to normal. You can make Cabelas slightly richer, or you can reinvest in a local shop. Your choice, but dont blame the business for being smart about it. And, if youre going to Treeline in 2020 or 2021, quit gripping about the ammo prices. Its bad all over and these guys did the legwork to get the ammo in one place for you to buy it. If you dont like it, go on Ammotogo and wait on your backordered 9mm for 3 months to save yourself 1$ a box minus shipping.

Insane. Completely preying on the community with the pandemic. $19 for a box of steel cased 556? $1 round for 9mm? This place is fully stocked on ammo... its very evident why after looking at the prices. $100 for transfers?! like for real!? I get them done for $21.95 elsewhere still. Its digital, put the info in wait for the approval on a computer or ipad. Its not like its holding anyone up. Never again will I stop in this place. Unbelievable.

First i called and asked if they had 9mm they say yes but won’t give prices over the phone..against better judgement i decided to go check it out and they want 45$ for a box of ammo!! to top it off i called and talked to a guy and he told me i could buy 3 boxes and then when i got to the store the lady working there said i could only get 2..

Sold me a used gun that wouldn’t fire. Ammo prices are outrageous even by 04/2021 standards. Almost $300 for an 800 rd brick of .22lr!! Bought the gun back from me, but I had to eat the fee and tax, and gas to bring the gun that should never have been on the shelf back. Will never go back, recommend you skip it too.

Buyers be aware, there is some serious price gouging going on at this store!!! Prices are doubled if not tripled than anywhere else. If you want reasonable and fair prices go to the store down the street as this is not it. This place will take advantage of you! When I got there the shelves were wiped clean by the panic shoppers. Lucky for me they had the right firearm left for a affordable price. You got to appreciate people who make it easy to help you when others make it difficult . Jessica and Mark were fantastic.

Or they can order anything you want if they dont have it in stock. Prices are reasonable and parking is available in front of the store. Definitely recommend this place.

Ive been going here for transfers for years and its always been a super smooth process at a good price.These last few years there has been this great lady who handles them and she knows how it is done. She is super efficient. Ive never had a problem.They immediately send their ffl info to the seller after you fill out their transfer form on the website.Rock solid place for transfers!

Used to be ok before the pandemic. Might be a little slow sending the FFL information for transfer but they get it done. Transfer fee is now $100 for one item. Stay away and look for others FFL instead.

My first gun purchased was from a gun store down the street from Treeline Sports. I was sold a defective used SA .45 pistol. The owner would not stand by the product that he sold. He was not interested with customer satisfaction. During other visits, I was confronted with employee attitudes or ignored altogether. Treeline Sports is a small family business that focuses on customer service. I would recommend Treeline Sports to anyone who was looking to purchase quality products while at the same time receiving quality service.

This is one of those small Mom & Pop places that we should all support. The young lady at the counter was courteous and got me in and out without a hitch. She was the only one working when i was there but that didnt stop her from helping out four customers at the same time. The inventory was good and pricing was competitive. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went there last weekend during their normal business hours and they were closed because they were at Oaks gun show, went back Monday closed again hours on website and their sign dont match, went there a third time tonight 45 minutes before they close as I pull in lot lights go off, wont answer door or phone. I came 3 times from Collegeville, this place doesnt need my money, I will never go back.

Ive done business with Treeline Sports a few times; all were online transfers. The give a great price if you transfer multiple firearms which is a plus. I got a UPS notification earlier in the day that they received my shipment so since I was in the area, I figured I stop by to see if they were ready. Not surprisingly, they didnt even get a chance to log them in yet because they were swamped. I told them I can come back and didnt want to rush them but the two nice young ladies stopped everything they were doing to help me out which I greatly appreciated. Very nice people and very good customer service. Would definitely recommend this shop to others in the area.

Bought my first gun here. As a newbie to firearms, they walked me through what a purchase. They stayed within my budget, listened to my request, and advised me accordingly. When I had questions, they were able to answer them easily. The prices seem very fair, if not slightly better than other shops in my area. They have a good selection for such a small shop. Theyre a little light on the accessories - wanted a holster and had to settle for a universal fit.If you want to go somewhere where you feel like you can ask questions, take your time to decide, and feel like you got a fair deal, go to Treeline Sports.

My goto place for online purchases. They are prompt about sending their FFL when requested. When a gun comes in I get a call within 2 hours that its ready, some shops take a day or 2 to get it logged and processed. They are very good about getting the model of the gun I want from the manufacturer for the LE program.

This review is way overdue. I bought two long guns here 2 years ago and looking back at the service and price, I should have given this place 5 stars back then. The guy who works there, maybe the owner...not sure...was very nice and patient with me, as i dont know it all when it comes to firearms or accessories. He even talked me out of more expensive items and ammo. I was willing to spend $200 more on stuff (all together i spent $1100) and he said i would be wasting my money for what i want and need. THANK YOU. I will be back now that i am ready to upgrade.

I had a terrible experience. I had put 3 lower receivers on layaway (which has a 90day policy) and was told after 2 weeks i could only buy 1 of them. I feel that as the price of AR receivers climbed, Treeline sold 2 of mine out from under me. When I asked them about it, they said they felt uncomfortable about me buying 3, which is understandable, but when I went to the store to immediately discuss it they said i couldnt buy the other 2. When I asked where the other 2 were because i felt i had a contract to buy them - as stated in my layaway agreement - and that I had friends who like to buy them, they said they were in the back, and no longer for sale. Seemed fishy to me, so I asked to speak to the manager, he was not working that day, and the next day i went to talk to him he alluded to me selling them for a profit, which i wouldnt have done, and that it could be considered a straw purchase (disclaimer: they absolutely NEVER accused me of being a straw purchaser).Its a shame because they seemed like the little guy on the block, a small family run business that you would want to do business with. I honestly believe that the reason i was not allowed to purchase the other 2 lower recievers was because they had appreciated price so much, perhaps tripled as the manager there has told me, and that it was worth it to them to sell me 1 at the original priece and the other 2 at the higher price. They also offered me nothing in return. No kind of remedy what so ever.
