Adas braiding is absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, I gave a 4 star because the braiding was extremely too tight. After it was completed, I felt like my edges and scalp was left in the chair when I stood up. Just keeping it real!Overtime, braiding too tight can cause stress on edges/scalp which can lead to hair damage! I would rather come often to get my braiding redone than to be in pain from extremely tight hair braiding and risk permanent hair damage.Overall, I wouldve given a 5 star if the braiding wasnt extremely tight.

Definitely would be 5 stars but I have some very unstable braids. The young lady not Ada but someone else braided my hair. It’s regular I guess medium box braids and I must say it is very tight, especially around my poor edges. I called three days later to ask to get a redo because some of my braids came out when it got wet in the back and one I took out because it felt like it was cornrowed down Instead if being a single box braid. I couldn’t move it in any direction but keep it down. I went back to the shop for the redo and the same lady was there arguing me down telling me I pulled out or took out my own braids .. bad business for one I took out the one that was hard to style the rest in the back was barley hanging on with my very thin edges ok I get that but don’t try and get loud and tell me what I didn’t do. I paid for my hair just like the rest and I’m not satisfied with the parting, how I can’t style some of my braids and the ones that fell out! Ok I love their work well Mrs. Ada and I probably should have waited for her to braid my hair because of this mix up foolishness.. I’m not asking for much but to repair some of the braids that fell out & the ones I can’t move that’s all no big problem. But I’ll see how it turns out when I go get time fixed later 🤷🏽‍♀️

Very unprofessional!!!! I waited 30 minutes outside in the cold in the rain first off . She was late for my appointment. Once inside she started braiding my hair . I said a few times I don’t want my hair braided tight. She kept stoping to purchase make up and text on the phone the whole time . Once my hair was completed and I left 10 minutes later my edges started snapping off . I have little white bumps all over . My neck is completely stiff. I asked for a redo on some braids she ignored me . I told her after I left the shop . She tried to argue about her being late and stated that she was up all night and couldn’t sleep . That doesn’t have anything to do with you being late and my hair being braided so tight . The braids are nice but the unprofessional & tight braids don’t mix well with me . I’ve had my hair braided at Nana’s braiding shop and I never had a problem. She was booked so I couldn’t get a appointment. Never again

Ada African hair braiding is a good choice. Ms. ADA is very nice and professional. I do love my braids, but even though Louise told me to tell her when it was too tight, and I did say it was. She STILL braided tightly. It has been 5 days and I have noticed breakage around the edges of my hair. I hope when I remove the braids my edges will still be there. I’d go back but ONLY if Ms. ADA does my hair.
