Came in on a Sunday to find out if they can replace a tire that got blown out. Not only did the have the tire in stock, but were able to get it done in less than twenty minutes. Hands down Frank did an outstanding job. Well done.

My tire pressure was really low on one tire and I was traveling from out of state. Ended up being a nail in my tire. Staff was extremely helpful and got me fixed up quickly knowing I was traveling.

TOOK MY CAR THERE TO GET MY AC CHECKED THEY TOLD ME ONE THING WAS WRONG WITH IT COOL I PAID THE $400 THINKING THAT WAS GOING TO FIX THE ISSUE!!! WHEN MY HUSBAND GOT THERE THE AC WAS NOT WORKING AND THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED A COMPRESSOR NOW WITCH WAS $700 I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND WILL LIE TO GET PAID!!!

The staff here are knowledgeable and efficient. I was able to easily make an appointment online. I showed up a little before my appointment time and I was helped right away. I asked for an oil change, tire inspection, and tire rotation.I ended up having to replace my front two tires. The brand I agreed to replace them with turned out to be out of stock, so the manager upgraded my tires to the next tier brand with no change in price. The total cost was fair and was about what I expected for two new tires and an oil change. I did not feel pressured to spend any more money than I needed to.Overall good experience.

I came here on a Sunday for a 4 wheel alignment and they spotted a nail in one of the tires and plugged it. The staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. The restroom was even clean, not like other shops I have been to. I will be recommending them to my friends.

On Thursday July 16, 2020 me and my three kids drove to Tire Choice on Rivers Rd in Charleston SC around 10:30 am the night before my car ran hot... Took it to Tire Choice I was told I needed New Radiator total cost would be $690.45 radiator was $199 the remainder was for labor.. Came back 3 hours later And paid for the service... I was told that everything was good to go went to crank car IT WOULD NOT Crank!!!! The guy who took my payment told me it was Murphy’s Law and Now it needed a head gasket... Manager would not speak to me and I had to tow my car off their property...I was Ripped Off!! I’m taking this company to smalls claims court and I filed a complaint with the BBB

I came in here out of pure random after 2 other tire places were too booked to take me. These guys took me in right away and started to work on my car ASAP! The guy at the desk made me laugh and was super friendly!

My car was starting weakly so I figured I needed a new battery. I took it in today without a prior appointment, described my issues, and my car was quickly checked out despite only one person working in the garage. They confirmed my suspicion and replaced my battery and checked why my service engine light was on - they communicated this issue wasnt urgent, much to my relief. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service today.

This place does not even deserve a 1 star. Seriously!! My son blowout a rear tire on I26 just passed the Ashley Phosphate exit. My son called me and I instructed him to call his insurance to get a tow to the nearest tire shop. Tire Choice on Rivers Ave was the closest place. The vehicle was picked up and upon delivery to the shop... the shop employees flat out refused to help! All the techs were in the shop sitting on stools. They walked to the tow driver and said do not drop it, we dont want it. Confused my son called me on Messenger to show and allow me to listen what was being said. The vehicle has stock rim and tires. We just added a body kit with panels for jack points.. nothing outrageous! My son in tears then wasted another 35 mins on the phone to find out the insurance will not cover the additional charges. Tire Choice.. I have a big family with lots of friends who just happen to live in the immediate area. I will promise that anyone and everyone I know will know how you treat your customers.

This place has always treated me right. Very nice people. And excellent service I also love the nerd gumballs they have in the gumball machine. I have never seen nerd gumballs before so you should definitely try it out while youre waiting for your tires to get worked on.

I went to Tire Choice to get new tires. The lady at the counter was so polite and helpful. The whole staff was really. They have definitely made me a long time customer.

Stopped in to have a tire looked at on my company vehicle that has a corporate account and told at 1:00pm that they’re booked for the rest of the day and better luck tomorrow and the guy just walks away. Parking lot is empty btw. Only 3 customers in the lobby.

I really appreciated this guys taking a nail out of my tire yesterday. But as a heads up, they charge $25 to repair a tire. They needed a couple hours to get it done so I had to leave my car. When I went to pick it up, they had it in the parking lot with my window rolled down. Eek! Didn’t have any valuables in the car but I had to inventory everything...this could have been terrible if I’d had anything in it of value, and this area is heavily trafficked.

After a hellacious blow out on I26 at 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon, I called the two closest tire shops. This store had the tire I needed at the lowest price I have ever found for that particular trailer tire. Even during a bad event, these guys made it a lot better with a great price and super fast service. Thank you so much!

I got a flat tire on my way to work this morning and the lovely gentlemen at this shop changed my tire for me for free and offered to repair the tire for cheap if it was possible instead of pressuring me to buy a new tire if I really didnt need to. The manager John even let me know that if I need my car serviced I can bring it in on my way to work and they will drop me off at work and pick me back up later when the car is done. Customer service here is amazing and they were fast too. 10 out of 10 would reccomend!

On June 29, 2021. I came in to this store for oil change and tire service.My left front tire was flat due to being a Uber Driver.Service advisor walked with me to my car to check my left tire, show me why it was flat, stayed with it until it was fixed.In addition, he did a great job making sure my oil change was done right.What I like about them they always tell me the truth what was wrong with my car.If they can’t do it they will recommend the next step in getting your car fixed.I have known them for 16 years and I always have a great experience every time I come in Tire Choice.

I took my car in to have a nail taken out of my tire. After taking it out, they told me my tire was fine. I didnt need anything! Free visit! Thanks for being honest!! I wouldnt have known the difference.

An error was made on the previous days visit and it was promptly corrected on the next days visit at no charge to me. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. We went there yesterday because we had a flat tire, but we did have a spare we were told that it would be $10 charge and a five hour wait. The five hour wait was a bummer, but hey what can you do. So we proceeded to catch a ride and come back five hours later only to be told that the job could not be done. They claimed that one of the lug nuts were swollen and that they did not have the tools to remove it. They also said that our $10 job was now a $75 job due to the swollen lug nut. The best part is yet to come we were also told we would have to leave the car overnight because a manager was the only one who had the tools to fix the issue. We had them to put air in tire and drove it across the street to pep boys. Pep boys was closing but, informed us they could fix it in the morning. So I had to miss work, but long story short pep boys changed the tire at no charge, and informed us that the lug nut was not swollen.

The North area Tread Quarters could really teach their Old Trolley locale a thing or two about exceptional customer service. Carrie and her crew on Rivers Avenue were both friendly and courteous in response to my need. The staff there were very professional and made the trip from Summerville to the North area worth the trip. I will definitely make this location my store for all my car needs.

We came to Tread Quarters because we noticed a grinding noise every time we were braking. We stopped by as they offered free brake inspections. The store manager John inspected our brakes and then gave us a reasonable price after showing us where our brakes had been worn down. He seemed very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

I have had the worse experience with Tread Quarters dealing with both the West Ashley shop and the Rivers Ave shop. I have been lied to stating a diagnostic test was done on my vehicle and it wasn’t. I was told my motor was bad when it was really my starter. Now I’ve had my car back for ONLY one day and it stopped working again. Tread Quarter now wants to say it’s my push start button because they refuse to take the starter back off. “To much work as one of the mechanics” said. Between the two shops I have been without my vehicle for a little over a week. I shouldn’t have to get my lawyer involved but because I’m tired of getting the run around I will let her do it for me.

Took my Chevy S10 truck for an oil change and coolant flush. The crew at this location is professional and friendly. You drive away feeling confident that the work is done right. My lady takes her Prius there as well, she referred Tire Choice Rivers Avenue.

I have purchased 3 sets of tires from Tread Quarters under the previous management and I always purchase the road hazard warranty. Now that it is under new management when we try to have our tires repaired we are told that we declined the warranty. As they advertise, the price quoted to me included the road hazard warranty. Where did my money go?This is the only place that my wife has had her oil changed for the last 3 years. After having her oil changed the last time I noticed something hanging from underneath the car. When I crawled under the car for a closer look I saw that the mechanic had left off half of a two piece cover for her oil pan. I reported this to the new manager and he told me that If I found the part and paid for it that he would pay me back. No apology or anything but a sarcastic attitude. Needless to say, that is the last time they work on my cars or sell me tires.I had my tires rotated before my wifes last oil change. While doing a brake job this morning I discovered that one of my lug nuts had been cross threaded. Now I have to pull the hub and replace the lug and lug nut. REALLY PEOPLE??? You sell tires. If you cant install a lug nut correctly, whats left but to find another occupation.

Came here over an hour before close. Said they dont have time to mount two tires. No effort to accommodate even though the job would take twenty minutes max. Dont expect to just show up and get any service at all (or any effort whatsoever) as apparently they dont need your business. Go elsewhere.

This Treadquarters is now under new management. All reviews posted prior to this should be disregarded. I was treated with respect, and the new manager is very professional. I went in for a tire balance, and was out within forty five minutes. I highly recommend this store for any vehicle maintenance needs.

I will never go to this location again.First off when I walked through the door I was approached by a lady at the counter, I told her I was looking to get my oil changed.She said off top that would be a wait of an hour plus the time it takes to perform the service, the attitude she had gave me the impression that she was trying to convince me to say Ill wait or go else where.I went through with the service, I waited about 2 hours thinking my car should be ready, I then called and was told my car was finished, ready for pick up.As I come into the parking lot I see that my back right tire was flat.I rushed into the location and asked why my tire looked as it did.The response was oh you have a nail in your tire !!! To me that didnt sit well because one my car alerts me when anything is not functioning properly, and two what kind of place doesnt notify you when something is wrong,my number was listed and I would think when it was discovered they would have called and let me know so I could have gone ahead and gave consent to fix it and not hurry back but then again it was close to closing time.IT ALL SEEMED A BIT SUSPICIOUS TO ME! ILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE FROM NOW ON

I had a bad time at Tread Quarters Disc. The front desk woman put in the wrong tire size that I asked for, which caused a problem. We waited longer for tires to be located. After asking for tires that were less than a yr old, we were given tires that were 7 yrs old. Those had to be taken off while waiting for more tires to come from a warehouse. From early morning until 1 in the afternoon. BAH HUMBUG I PRESSED ONE STAR AND IT GIVES THEM A B RATING. THATS WRONG AND I GIVE THEM A C

It WOULD have been great had the person that handled my business(which also happens to be the store MANAGER) considered being HONEST AND ETHICAL which he WAS NOT! Beware of this store slipping in the Hazard Protection without even a HINT of MENTION, which is what HE DID. I WONT go back to THIS store because NOW, I dont TRUST them!!!

I got up this morning not in the best of moods and not wanting to get out of bed but after coming in to get an oil change Kerry’s customer service was sooooo Pleasent and welcoming it really made the experience one to remember the whole time I was there no matter who walked through the door or how bad their attitudes were she kept a smile on her face it’s people like her that makes a difference.

I am most upset right now. I took my vehicle to this Tread Quarters today to get 2 brand new tires to replace one that had a nail in the outer edge that could not be plugged and another that was bad. I left thinking the tires were replaced and pleased that I had new tires because it was pouring down rain when we left. Went to the grocery store and came out 45 mins later to find my back right tire going flat. Checked the tire only to realize it was the same tire that had been on the front of my car with the nail in the same place. OMG!! What the heck is going on at this Tread Quarters???? I know I am not crazy. And I do know I told the lady at the front desk specifically what tires needed to be replaced. If it was not raining I would have checked all four before I left this place. But I didnt think that I had to question a mechanics capabilities to replace the right tires. Now I know better. Thanking God that He was watching over us in the rain. I will be back in the morning for someone to correct this error. It is most unacceptable!

I recently bought a set of 4 off road tires for $3500. After 2 days I noticed a slow leak. I took the vehicle to this tread quarters and management refused to honor the road hazard warranty that I paid extra for. I also produced the receipt proving i had bought the tires and road hazard warranty through tread quarters. Management still refused to honer the warranty and that i would have to pay out of pocket for repair. After going to another shop i found out the valve stem was installed incorrectly by tread quarters.

Need great service and affordable tires or other repairs I go here. Always a great experience.

My car sat unused in my garage for a couple of months after I had surgery. Once I was able to drive again I noticed my battery light would periodically come on. I called around and some places wanted $100 just to look at it. The kind people at tread quarters checked it for free and explained to me why it was probably coming on periodically. They told me to come back if it continued. The problem did continue and they not only checked it again for a second time free of charge but gave me a print out of all of the test results. They did all of it free of charge and were very kind and polite about it. About a week later the light stopped coming on by the way.

I give them a single star only because I dont have the option to give them none. I called and asked if they performed Road Force Balancing. The woman told me they did and I made an appointment. Having a light wheel shimmy and getting ready to trade the car the following Friday (which I did) they walked out and looked at it. The man returned and reported my tires had dry-rot (which was true) and that they were directional tires, two of which were on backwards. I looked myself and they were NOT on backwards. They offered to replace all four (as if I wanted to buy someone else new tires). I declined and could not leave fast enough. I wont go back.

What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if when I arrive you’re going to tell me to reschedule? Would have greatly appreciate it if they would’ve just called & inform me instead of wasting my time! 🤬 Not to mention, me & three others stood at the counter for 10 mins before getting “help.” Hire more workers!
