Amazing place. You know its good when you see locals. Came in and instantly got hungry from the bakery. You get authentic and delicious food. I had four tacos, bought fresh tortillas, fresh bread, and beer my friend says she only finds in Mexico. One of my favorite places in Charleston

Very helpful. The food was delicious. Ordered a special Tres Leches Birthday cake for someone special. I did need to go there and put down a deposit. They were able to have it ready in two days which is when I needed it. While there, I picked up some beer, since I havent been to a store in about three months. Today was perfect. I am so glad for Panaderia.

The tacos are really good! They have a very wide variety of Mexican products, it almost reminded me like a Mexican candy store/meat market/taquería in the local market. They have fresh pastel tres leches, bolillos, and sweet rolls. Their meats looks very handsome, bright red, and decently marbled. The staff is very welcoming. I hope I get a chance to go back with my friends so they can also enjoy and discover this gem!

For authentic Mexican tacos or burritos, THIS IS THE PLACE! Friendly and gracious staff. I got mine to go. Im ready to go back after devouring my chorizo, cabeza and al pastor tacos.

Purchased tortillas and cake...both were bad. But the carnitas were awesome! Will come back for the carnitas but not for groceries.

Im not Mexican but i Enjoyed this store mainly for the worldly variety of foods items that they offer. Its refreshing for a change of your constant always the same grocery items in WM or Food Lion. Prices were affordable, Love trying new types of foods? Then come here the items are authentic not just inspired.

Fabulous food and the folks there were extremely helpful to those whose first language is not Español. Will be going back for more tacos and carne asada soon😋

Um. I cant speak Spanish to save my life. Why I decided to enter: no clue. Glad I did! People were so nice!! Food was authentic and the baked goods were amazing!!

I remember when this store was smaller it is nice to see hard-working people getting ahead and being prosperous I love their pork, very nice quesadillas, their pastries are to-die-for and now they are making donuts.They also have tres leche cake, and whole cheesecake or by the slice a must-try. The name, Panaderia Tlaxcalita, implies this place is a bakery from the state of Tlaxcala. Its a Mexican goods store with excellent bakery items and an impressive, very impressive, meat counter where one orders tacos and a few other Mexican food dishes. I had menudo. Excellent! Loaded with tripe. The tacos are a dollar a piece!! They were as good, if not better than any tacos Ive had in Charleston. WARNING! If you are not comfortable being with Spanish speaking people, dont go. Gringos are rare here. All, including the Spanish speaking folks we dined with, were wonderful. The store is extremely clean and organized. I purchased blue corn tortilla flour. If near, you should give it a try.

This is real Mexican food, not that bastardized version you get from the other so called Mexican restaurants. The people who work here are also very friendly, do not be shy to try something new because everything is good at this place

Great place! All the young workers speak english however its very respected if you can speak some spanish. All the mexican products are here from snacks, and drinks. To Piniatas and mexican tradition food with fresh meat from the butcher!

I eat hear at least once a week. The food is Spacktular! I love the Chorizo Burrito absolutely delicious combination of chorizo, beans, Mexican riy, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. The people are very welcoming and friendly. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and bakery, this is it.

Bad service they told us to come a day earlier to give them our order of bread and we even made a list and gave it to them and they gave us the wrong bread and they werent responsible enough to change it.
