Awful customer service. Some employees are rude and will tell you to drive to their location just for them to tell you, you need an appointment. On the other hand their work is good and they replaced my subwoofer for free when it blew. If you sit and wait for your car to be finished don’t expect it to be quick

Simple single din stereo installation was incorrectly wired. My stock system worked fine but I wanted to upgrade. I called Jay and set up an appointment in Charleston . They charged me $250.00 to install a stereo that I supplied. I didn’t think I would need to check everything before I left but I should have. I had No sound or just static coming from the speakers. The balance and fader were all wired incorrectly. When I called Jay to let him now he tried to sell me something additional to bring the Jeep back in to rewire. No return calls after that. Waste of my time and a lot of money. Go elsewhere.

I recently bought a new car from Hudson Nissan and I absolutely love my car however it didnt come with leather. So I added on the leather package and it came in a week or 2 later. Come to find out they contract out the work to Audio Evolution! Which they did an amazing job. I had my car back the next day and I had forgotten my headrest and with no problems they took them and had they done perfectly within a day. Even had some questions and without hesitation they were friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend them!

Very disappointed. I was scheduled to have a DVD player installed in my suv. My first appointment was cancelled due to not having the part in stock. I was told I would get a phone call when the part came in. I gave them 8 weeks before I finally called back. When I called back they told me that they didn’t have a record of me or that I ordered a DVD player (note it was paid for already). From this point I got the run around for 2 weeks before I finally got scheduled for an appointment. I drop my car off and I’m told the job will take 2-3 hours. 4 hours later I never received a phone call so I had to call them to find out if my car was ready. I’m told that the dvd screen was broke but they couldn’t call to tell me because they lost my number. I cancelled a whole day for my car to stay with them for no reason. Major inconvenience. I’m very disappointed with how this turned out. Waste of gas, especially with gas prices rising, I’m 40 minutes away of their office.

Excellent customer service! Jay and his team did a wonderful job. Very knowledgeable and honest. I had both front speakers replaced. Perfect! Jay went out of his way for me. I wasn’t able to get off work for my schedule appointment. He picked up my vehicle to be serviced and dropped it off when it was done. I really appreciate his service. I’ll be back.

I had some audio equipment installed in a 2020 mustang ecoboost. Subs & a Monoblock amplifier. I’m very pleased with the installation ! The wiring job is excellent ! I like where the Monoblock amplifier was mounted. Sounds good. I’ll be back in the near future to have my door & rear deck speakers as well as the pillar tweeters & bass blockers & 4 channel amplifier installed. Thanks again !

Best people Ive worked with in a long time. Went in for what was originally a 4 hour job, but thanks to some vehicle complications on my end it wound up dragging out to 4 days. They honored their original quote, no doubt losing time and money on this job, and still treated my car as if it were their own. Staff were all incredibly friendly and I was treated like an old friend rather than another in-and-out customer. When the job ran long and I needed my car for work Jay stepped up and lent me HIS PERSONAL VEHICLE while they fixed mine. All and all great service and my audio sounds worlds apart from what it used to. Will 100% return here and send any friends of mine that need quality work done. A+ guys, well done.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! Do not go here!!! I brought in my 2015 Honda fit for a amp and sub install. I had a JL audio amp and a 12w6 sub.($800 sub). Had an appointment at 2 pm. Dropped the car off at 10am. Went to pick it up at 4pm. Still not ready. Waited two more hours. When i finally get in the car to leave i turn on some music to test it out (typically an associate will be in the car to ensure you are satisfied.) I get in the car and the sub is not working. I tell them about it. They take a look and after another 30 min they come and tell me the sub is blown. Mind you they charged me for a bench test. I was upset, but the owner was there and quick to get me another (at this point i obviously assumed no charge.) The sub he tried to give me was a $250 sub. I told him that i would prefer the same $800 sub. Which the owner was quick to take action to look for a replacement. (I still assumed no charge). I left with reassurances that this would i be rectified. After two days of no action i decide to give the $250 sub a try since it had great reviews and im a pretty easy going guy. No hard feelings for blowing my $800 sub. ( I still think there is no charge). I show up and they get me a new ported box to go with the sub. I started typing a great review. Thinking ehh it is a third of the price but at least hes owning up to it. After the install they meet me outside to verify that i am satisfied as expected. The sub sounded great and i all was forgiven. I go in the assumed to just get a recipt. The guy at the counter says That will be $405. I looked at the owner and asked if he expected me to pay? He laughed and said Well yeah. Needless to say i was very disappointed and had them remove the sub. The owner gave all kinds of excuses and refused to own up to his companys mistakes. Please do not give them your business.On a side note. I also asked them to run the HDMI to the center console and they ran it to the glove box. Not as big of a deal.

I was in there yesterday, guy behind the counter,a) didn’t act like he wanted to work.b) didn’t appear to know anything about the products he was selling or the cost of them.This place has gone way down hill from what it used to be.

Ive had three vehicles tinted here. They do an outstanding job. I went in a couple of days ago for a new head unit for my car and got everything I need for the install. Very helpful staff and quality work.

Will is a very disrespectful young boy so I came there they was busy so he told me I have too wait if I wanted to so I said Ill wait since I only wanted to ask a question he then said your going to wait i said yes then a man pulled up and the man said let me hollar at you and started asking him questions and I said I was here first then will said she be okay and still preceded to talk to the man so I waited inside and once he was done he argued with me about the man only had to aske a question i said so did I he was very nasty so I called the store and ask for the manager and will said Im the manager I said can I speak to someone over u and he then said for what and i said I need to make complaint against you and he said I can fix that dont come here no more we dont need your business so sad i will spread the news

Bought a DS18 kit from them which worked great for months and recently had a fried power wire. They replaced it with a better quality wire right off the spool. Definitely recommend and will be sending any friend/colleagues to this location!!!

I got an aftermarket touch screen head unit installed, looked and sounded perfect until one of my speakers messed up, causing a big screw up, called them back, they said theyd take a look at it, brought it back the next day, found out what the problem was, and fixed it. Really cool people also, the guy working up front, think his name is Matt, hes cool as hell, had a good talk about car audio and what not, he was really helpful, and the other dude in the back with the gauges that installed the head unit and fixed my problem with the speakers, forgot his name, but he was helpful as well, gave me some tips on car audio and he is cool as hell. I highly recommend Audio Evolution and will definitely be seeing them again if I need anything installed.

If you can work with Aaron do it. Hes a great guy to deal with. I had a schedule issue but they gladly did a stereo install around my schedule.

Ive had 4 vehicles done by Audio Evolution over years. Three had audio work and two had tint jobs. They have always doen exemplary work, but most recent was WAY BEYOND my expectations. I took my vehicle to them to replace my stock speakers. They took me through a few different options, and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt want or need. I explained my concerns about the installation and specific needs based on how the vehicle is used.Audio Evolution had all the components I wanted in stock, and they were able to start the job immediately. I left my vehicle at the North Charleston shop, and the owner Jay drove my wife and I back to our house, instead of us having to take a cab. (Obviously we did not expect to get the work done this soon) The complete job took 2 days, this is not something they just slap together, if you want fast and dont care about a quality job go somewhere else.The installation and keeping the abilities the vehicle had from the factory is amazing. The custom fabrication to ensure everything appeared and stock as possible should be a show piece for other shops to learn from. Chase took the time to ensure various types of music sounded great...he did not just make it loud. The sound is clear no distortion.Thank you to everyone especially to Chase for taking the time to create a fantastic system that completely exceeded my expectations

Went there 3 months ago to get my rear speakers installed. They provided quality work and at a modest price, so Im returning to have my front speakers install.

I have done business with this company 4 years ago and they were awesome. I purchased a new car and went in for a quote to get my audio system install. Went back 3 weeks later in uniform to schedule an appt and the price jumped up. I already had all the equipment (wires/converter box) from my first vehicle which I was told they could re-use. I purchased the equipment from the same place. I just walked out to take my business else where.

If you have a problem with a formerly built audio system dont come here. Instead of finding the problem they will run a sloppy wire and splice it into the system. Resulting in a low power issue from the patch job, on top of the original issue still being in the system just bypassed. Im a hotrodder with a A&P License who looks at whats been done.
