Terrific place to pick up gaming stuff. We dropped in while on a trip to pick up some dice for one of our kids and without even trying found presents for another. Had a wonderful chat with the owner while we checked out. Really great selection in this place.

Came here for magic cards. The shop is lacking slightly for sealed packs but has a decent selection of rares to pick through. Owner is a nice older gentleman.

Goodness. Ive been coming here since I was 9 years old. My mother and I would go in just to get incense. I adore the family whom owns the place and they always greet people with a smile. Fantastic family friendly shop for all of your nerdy needs. Being that its a two part store, they also have that gaming lounge on the other side of the separation wall, so if you wanna play D&D or even just join in on a Friday Night MTG tournament, talk to Beowulf or Mr. Scott and get your butt in there! ROLL FOR INITIATIVE!!!!

I love this place! Scott and his family have been here for years. They provide excellent customer service along with specific and obscure knowledge for many gaming genres.

For MTG players - this place was a bit awful. It’s also really dark, with barley any lighting. A little sketchy on the location but the staff seemed nice. The pops are stacked randomly but mainly just D&D pops, or $5 ppg Star Wars pops. So disappointed but maybe good for people into comics or Disney statues.

The owner is almost always here and knows his stuff. Loved coming here as a kid and now i take my kids here. Come and play with me and my son at friday night magic. Great place..great people.

Ive been going to the Green Dragon for over a year now and this place is truly special. The staff here has deep roots in the area and community. very family friendly place and the by far the most balanced in activity of all the hobby stores. I consider the Green Dragon the Central Heart of the role play and games community.

Great quiet card shop. I get all my Dungeons & Dragons stuff here. The dice are great quality and the staff are pretty knowledgeable. Beowulf is pretty funny. Good place if youre looking for a new group to pay with if youre new to the area or are just getting into the nerdy stuff. It closes pretty early though.

A North Charleston original family owned and operated buy some of the most down-to-earth people youll ever meet as long as its Middle Earth. This game shop is one that I have inhabited since the age of 15 and I will continue didnt have it well past my sixties if I have anything to say about it. The prices are great the products are amazing and Scott and Adriana and Beowulf have an amazing collection of memorabilia comic books gaming supplies and martial arts equipment enough to keep you entertained for many many hours. When I was little, my mom would take me to the Green Dragon. I was always amazed by how cool their shop was- all the interesting figurines and books and items never found in regular stores. Mom would let me pick out a kids comic, like the old school Sonic the Hedgehog comics and the classics like Archie, which became part of my earliest influences as an artist. Without Green Dragon, I wouldnt have had access to such things, so I feel grateful for having them as a part of our community. Growing older Ive realized just how vital they are to us, not just for providing unique merchandise but as an enduring haven for gamers and collectors alike. There are regulars to the Green Dragon, and everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable about their favorite subjects. This is the kind of place you can come in with friends and set up a game and play all day if youd like. I love the rich geek culture thats going on here. I love this place so much. The people here are amazing and like family. They know just about everything there is to know about nerdy stuff and they are some of the friendliest people Ive ever met. This place was like a second home the entire time I lived in SC and I dont know what I wouldve done without it or its people. If you have any questions or need help finding something Scott or Beowulf are always around. Best place Ive found so far in 3 different states to play cards and other games. This place is absolutely hands down the best.

Its a game store and comic shop that offers a wide selection of both categories as well as lots of other theme related nicks and nacks. The owner is often in store as well and the service and friendliness of him and his staff is incredible. It also houses a small section for gaming space for cheap rent. As well you can pay a dollar there and just hang around reading comics if you want as well. Love coming here and supporting this business.

This is a great little game store. Their stock ranges from cult of the new to some hard to find titles if yesteryear. Price was good for a FLGS and the staff were all very kind. Organization is a little rough around the edges, but that is just me being picky. Large open play area in back. I am not sure about organized play as I was just stopping in during Thanksgiving vacation.

North Chuck is lucky to have this place. The selection isnt as diverse as I had hoped. There seemed to be a big focus on familiar franchises with tons of expansions.

I went here looking for some d&d information, and I came to the right place. The staff was super friendly and willing to help. I felt like I was lead in the right direction and got lots of information in selecting the right products. I highly reccomend. I wish I was closer to this location!!

Very welcoming to new people. The owners name is Beowulf. I do believe thats all that really matters. Do be careful when talking to him though. He will talk for hours if you let him. The only problem with the place is youll never notice how long you spend there till the sun sets, a blood moon rises, and all the magic players gather around a mint emrakul while chanting.

I love being around other nerds! There are a lot of board games, comics, and most notably, Magic the Gathering. Drafts are hosted each Friday night, and its a great place to meet like minded people.

Very well organized. Good selection for whatever youre interested in.

They have a large gaming supply space and many tables for gaming which are unfortunately mostly used by magic players. The staff was helpful. They sell a wide variety of pre-prepared food, snacks, drinks, etc. as well. Pick up games were easy as people were waiting and eager to try new alternatives to their aforementioned favorite time/ money sink. While they post a sign to ask gamers to spend money there was no other pressure and the location was nice with a goose hanging around the parking lot. An asset to the local gaming community!

A very well-stocked tabletop game collection with something for everyone. Plenty of books for pretty much every popular RPG I could think of. The gaming room is a nice place to get together with friends and has plenty of space. Events are fairly regular and varied.

From cool, unique board games, tabletop RPGs, Trading card games, miniatures, nerdy collectables and more!!Also they have a room full of tables for events. I practically lived there I my early twenties playing D&D, and Shadowrun and others until closing time. Lots of Magic the Gathering events too!Still go there when I need ideas or a particularly niche item/accessory for my gaming needs. Always recommend them!

While the store has a large collection of board games, card games, rpgs, and miniatures, it was the shop owner and staff that made this place more of a community than just a store. They were more than willing to talk about the games they sold and had played every have we were potentially interested in. They have a good review with what they liked and did not like and asked questions about our game to group to try and give an honest opinion on if wed enjoy a game or not. After shopping here o wish we lived closer so we could visit often and take part in the many events they regularly host.
