Weve purchased tile from Palmetto Tile for years for a family room, sun room, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen, and I loved looking at everything in the showroom and carefully choosing what would work. Were currently renovating a new house and had to design multiple rooms at once. Time was of the essence, so I gave a basic description of what I wanted and the design staff provided a variety of beautiful and creative solutions. Leslie at Palmetto Tile was incredibly helpful- the tile choices were wonderful and even during a pandemic I was able to pick out tile for my bathroom safely. All was ready for pick up in a timely manner and my bathroom looks like a spa!!!I highly recommend!!!!

It was a pleasure working with Morgan. I had to make tile selections rather quickly as I needed it for my second home on Seabrook Island and was only there for the week. Nothing like finding out that you have to demolish your bathroom due to a leak and finding tile while under the gun! After a few iterations, we found the perfect combination of 3 tiles that did not break the bank. We even had to make a switch because one of my tiles was backordered until December. Morgan found the perfect replacement and we did this via email. Thank you for making it easy to find great tile at great prices.

My husband purchased tile from this company. They had a good variety and were very helpful, however we had to pay $80 for shipping of the tile to that store and then pick it up! When we paid a deposit for a sample we thought it was a good fit, so we made the purchase in bulk, only to find out it was too dark. This could not be revealed by a single sample piece. When we sought to return we were told we had to pay $91 return fee, plus $56 restock fee netting us $40 for the return on $287. If you purchase in bulk, make sure of your decision because it will hurt you in the end!

We worked with Brittany Bowser and can’t say enough about how knowledgeable and helpful she was throughout our selection and install process for 2 recent bathroom renovations. We plan to work with her again soon and have recommended Palmetto Tile to several friends.

We are in the process of redoing a guest bathroom, and were in need of a floor tile. The project has had several problems, but Hannah, Joe, and Phil were all accessible to assist in a few complicated issues. Palmetto Tile is the perfect place for jobs big and small. They helped me pick the perfect backsplash for our new kitchen and were knowledgable and patient as I made my final decision. Family and locally owned is another plus for me!

I have shopped at this store several times in the past. Never experienced anything spectacular in customer service to begin with but my recent purchase have been a deciding factor to no longer shop here. I purchased grout for a job and had a bag left over. Brand new bag, no damage, leaks, punctures and kept in cab of my truck. I attempted to return with receipt in hand and was dismissed with a negative return on grout. No where at the time of my purchase in the store or on the receipt is there a disclaimer for returns not accepted. Its a $25 bag of grout, not a big ticket item, but it is the principal of the policy. Customers should be made aware.

My experience with the Johns Island showroom and the skilled sales representatives there has always been excellent. Judy Grady is such a fixture in the interior architecture community of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. She makes great recommendations and is so good at directing clients toward the right material among the wide selection that they carry.

Very nice folks, and very professional. They stock a wide variety of grouts, Schluter strips and tiles (like Mexican Saltillo) that you can pick up on short notice. Ive always had good experiences with them.

End of Nov. 15 I had placed a small Crossville tile sample order with one of Palmettos salespeople at the N. Charleston location. Was told it would be received in a matter of days. As an out of town customer I pointed out the fact that I wouldnt necessarily be able to collect it right away but to let me know when it arrived. Never heard anything so after a week I called to check, got her voicemail and left a message (with return mobile number). No response. Subsequently also sent an email follow up 12/10/15 asking status of the order. No response. On 12/15/15 having still had no response I sent the rep an email with instruction to cancel the order as evidently she was too busy to follow up with me. Guess what? No response! Of course the charge had been made to my credit card on 12/2/15 — small ball stuff: $23.00. Figuring shed get around to refunding it I waited to hear something, anything. Nothing. (meanwhile had to obtain the samples elsewhere) Finally I had to contact the card issuer to dispute the charge and was successful on 1/4/16. Today Feb. 25 2016, I received a call from someone, didnt catch the name, at Palmetto who questioned me on the charge reversal and said I was obligated to pay because it was a special order. When I explained the circumstances he was quick to defend his sales rep and claimed she did contact me when the order arrived. I begged to differ and suggested she must have simply been too busy to follow through and/or forgot. I happens you know. Whereupon he actually had the gall to threaten me to take the matter to a Magistrate. Sheesh! You earned this rating.

Absolutely the best place to get tile in the Charleston area! Forget HomeDeepot or lowes!My wife and I recently bought our first home in the cobblestone ridge area. The kitchen and bedroom floors were a mess! So, my wife and I stopped in to Palmetto Tile in N Charleston. We had a lot of concerns about the removal of the old flooring, as well as the install process from beginning to end. The salesperson (I think his name was Charles?) was very helpful, and quite knowledgeable about the entire process. Now, our kitchen backsplash and tile floors look AMAZING!Highly recommended ++++
