Horrible place. Son injured on job and no workers comp form complete even though a supposed supervisor was notified after incident and nothing was done. Numerous emails sent to that supervisors boss and still nothing done. I paid for my son to go to MD. This all happened 8/27/2021 and to this day NOTHING has been done for my son. He has gotten nothing but the run around. I intend to contact OSHA and South Carolina workers Comp.

These reviews are from people who mustve been paid to give Charleston Steel a good review. I normally go to B & D, and Shawn has always given me top dollar for steel or precious metals. Everytime I go to Charleston Steel, I get like $30 less than I wouldve at B & D. Everytime I leave Charleston Steel, I be mad at myself, cuz I knew better. If you want to get the most for your scrap, take the extra 20 mins to drive to B & D, trust me, Ive been scrapping everyday for a year, and I have seen the difference. Dont waste your time at CS, them mfkas will take your metal and give you pennies back

Do not go to B abd D scrap metal. I have realized that they have been very dishonest with me and not paying me right on scrap B & D Scrap Metal takes advantage of people doesnt pay them what theyre supposed to get paid and Charleston steel does Amex better job making sure you get what youre supposed to get.
