Was in an accident and came here on a friend’s recommendation and I am so glad that I did. This repair center is a busy one, but each and every person I interacted with was professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I was on a major time crunch and probably became somewhat of a pest towards the end but they pulled through big time for me. Communication was outstanding and both Michelle and Christine are superheroes and should have statues of them erected in the front of the building. Was able to pick up and drop off my Enterprise rental with them which was really convenient. Great attention to detail and the car came out fantastic. Thank you guys so much.

Brought my car here per USAA for repairs after a deer commit suicide against it. Communication throughout was great. Paint work is impossible to tell and I have 3 stage/process paint. Can’t see the difference even with polarized glasses or different sunlight conditions.Loses 2 stars for the shoddy clean up (see pics of polishing compound throughout) and total disregard of my grievances when picking up the car. New scratches and nicks below the headlight that were not there prior to the cars arrival (even after the deer) and the plastic/sticker chrome on the emergency brake handle is now broken off. I was told “that wasn’t us” until I said it wasn’t like that and was then told “well those things happen.” When pointing out the grime on the door handle I was offered a shop towel to wipe it down. I declined…

North Haven Auto Body did a great job repairing my Ford F150 and keeping me informed via text all along the way. The only issue I had, was their relationship/partnership with Enterprise. The local customer service at the North Haven Enterprise location was so poor that it really soured my overall experience during this claim process. I wish NH Auto Body had more rental car company options or could recommend another one to others for future customers.

Was extremely pleased with the repair completed on my vehicle. Loved the ongoing communication, and while the car took a little longer than expected, it was repaired correctly. The detailing of the car after the repair was excellent.

Extremely professional, timely, and honest. I went in thinking the extent of my vehicles damage was greater than it was, and the employee looking over my car was very honest and even took some of his own time to fix minor damages for free.They easily could have charged me to fix things that didnt need to be fixed, but instead they did the right thing even though it meant less money for them. If I need body work again in the New Haven area, this is where Ill go.

My son’s car was damaged in early April. North Haven Auto Body was one of his insurance company’s “preferred” shops, and it was the closest to our home, so he made arrangements to bring it there. Their initial estimate was 20 working days.It seems that some people are very impressed with NHAB’s communication, but apparently my son (who is active-duty military) didn’t merit that level of communication. What he got was repeated delays and either no information at all or uninformative updates by text message like “Your car is now in repair.”When NHAB finally delivered his car, 43 working days later, the repairs looked good, but as with all body repair work, the test for quality is in the passage of time. So, we’ll see.What I can say with certainty, though, is that NHAB’s quality control at delivery was absolutely terrible. Apparently, they were in a big hurry to give the car back. There was heavy adhesive residue from their tape on the roof, they had failed to reset the tire pressure monitoring system (which we specifically told them in writing they needed to do), there were interior trim panels that hadn’t been reinstalled, one of his fog lights had been simply put back into place with no hardware to secure it (it fell out while driving the car), and there were multiple scratches/gouges around the rear window opening from removing and reinstalling the window.When you let a car go out the door in that condition after working on it for 2 months and charging an insurance company $14,000, the message you send is “We don’t really care.”And in advance of the owner asking why we didn’t bring the car back to make everything right, the answer is that if you can’t make everything right in 2 months, you don’t deserve another chance.

A tree branch fell on the hood and side panel of my car. They did a great job. It looks like they may have even cleaned the inside and outside before returning it to me. Front desk staff made the process as easy and stress free as possible. The text updates ensured I was informed throughout the process so I didn’t have to call and ask what the status was.

My landlord and I had stopped by there to get some air they could have told us to go to the gas station but instead when the techs came back from lunch they took care of us with genuine respect if I needed repairs to my vehicle they would be the first one I call.

I brought my vehicle here after AAA (my insurance) recommended it. I was rear ended, and the back bumper / rear assist gear of the car was pretty shot. Everything about the process working with North Haven Auto Body was as smooth and transparent as I could want -- they share a computer system with AAA so all insurance payments were handled without my intervention, I got text notifications throughout the repair keeping me up to date, and the staff were friendly and expedient with all steps in the process. In fact, my car was finished at 4:45 pm (they close at 5), and there was an issue with obtaining an uber which prevented me from getting there before they closed. I was anxious to get my car that day, as a major winter storm was rolling in that night and we were expecting 16 of snow over the next day or two. The Front Desk staff were kind enough to wait for me to arrive ~15 minutes after closing and handled all the paperwork to get me my keys and back in my car -- I very much appreciated it! The body work to the rear of the car seems like new to my eye (Im no expert), and Id absolutely bring my car here if I needed further work done.

She made an effort to give me consistent updates about my vehicle and what stage of repairs it was in. Highly recommend this business, if I need work done again I will be contacting Michelle.

These guys are awesome! Had fender work done from a recent accident and it looks perfect. Paint looks awesome and like it never happened as it should. The customer service is fantastic. I needed a rental car through insurance and they have a representative on site. They kept me informed just about every other day during the 2 week period my car was being repaired. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for Grade A work to be done.

North Haven Auto Body handles all Tesla repairs for the service center. When I purchased my car, there was a blemish and it was repaired to better than new. Fast forward 27,000 miles, and a sleepy driver (who didnt have autopilot) hit my fender and door. One again, NHAB did a fantastic job. Service was five star and communication was excellent. Parts were ordered ahead, and the fix took about a week.

“Your Best Decision After a Collision,” I can vouch for that.I was concerned that matching the original paint would be problematic because it contained speckles which reflected slightly different colors depending on your viewing angle.The way the new paint blended with the existing paint was indiscernible. Before paint, body work needed to be done, I am completely satisfied with every aspect of the repair. Unfortunately, I am a repeat customer. Several years ago, I had repairs performed on a different vehicle. So, it wasn’t a difficult decision for me to return to North Haven Auto Body for this repair.The associate assigned to my case kept me well informed throughout the whole process and didn’t overwhelm me with unnecessary information.The vehicle was returned to me completely detailed, inside and out.Thank you again for your excellence in workmanship and professionalism during this process.

Very professional, and nice work. I took my car here for some minor body repairs. Throughout the repair they called daily to provide me with an update, so I was never left wondering how things were progressing. Their estimated timeline was spot on as well. When I picked up the car, it looked great on the outside, but once I got in I noticed that a part of the driver seat was damaged - something I had never seen before, so I assumed it was damaged during the repair. I came back in and told them about it, and when at first they suggested it was like that when I brought it in I got a bit heated. In fact, I was a bit of a jerk. We went into their office and reviewed detailed photos they had taken of the car when I first dropped it off. In doing so it became obvious that I was wrong, and the damage was of my own doing. Although I had made the conversation a bit tense, they never lost their cool and remained very professional and polite the entire time. Their handling of that situation really earned my respect. If you want quality work, and quality people, this is a great place to go.

My experience with North Haven Autobody was very positive. They communicated with me the entire time to let me know the status of the repair and got it done quickly, all things considered. Their estimate was cheaper than the other Tesla certified body shop in the state, although it was still way higher than I expected. Good thing insurance was covering this repair! I would go back to them in the future, but would also shop around a bit if I had to go out of pocket.

This rating is based only on my customer service experience when I went and got an estimate, I went there recently to get an estimate for work I wanted done on my vehicle, I had an appointment and after I told the lady at the front desk who I was and my info she told me to wait for somebody to come out and see me, then Meggan came out and never came up and greeted me and already was walking out the front door and said my name and then walked out the door like she was in a big rush, then while we were going over the whole car she wasn’t even really listening to what I was even telling her I wanted done and her opinion and what’s the best option and was just writing stuff down and rushing me and kept “ saying Next!” She had a really rude and unfriendly demeanor and then two things I asked her about she said they don’t do that kind of stuff there and I told her I specifically asked that when I made the appointment on the phone if they do that and they told me they did, I was really thrown off why I was lied to on the phone, then the other work I got an estimate for when she finally came out she was again rushing me while I was looking over everything and then the couple questions I asked she seemed to be really annoyed that I was asking questions, never asked me if I had any questions and if she could explain everything to me or anything, I even told her I’ve never been to an auto body shop before getting estimates, judging on my experience with her I definitely won’t be giving them my business, I don’t care if they’re the best auto body shop on the planet, how you treat customers matters and being very rude and unfriendly and rushing me the whole entire time ( even though I had an appointment) and can’t take the time to treat me with respect and my business matters with common courtesy and decency I could only imagine how the work is they’d do to the car, without customers you’d have no business at all, I don’t care if she was having a bad day or over booked or whatever maybe the reason, how I was treated is no excuse and they definitely don’t deserve my business. I regret taking the time to drive all the way there because I kept hearing everywhere they’re the best place to get body work done and very highly rated,

Workmanship was very good. The only issue we had was calling and told our car was finished, but when we arrived it wasn’t. The receptionist said she misunderstood my name on the phone.

Some minor front end damage to our car brought us to North Haven Auto Body. The people we dealt with at the front desk, and appraiser Meghan, were both welcoming and thoroughly professional. We were kept up to date on the timely progress of repairs by our contact Inez, and the finished product was flawless. While we hope never to need NHAB again, we were completely satisfied and would happily recommend them.

Stopped by to get an estimate for a clear coat scratch I had on my 12 day old car. They took a look, took the car in the back and buffed (whatever they do) out about 90% of the scratch for FREE. Took 10 minutes but very happy they did what they could for me right away. That is great customer service, all interactions with employees were very professional and very personable.I went there today (there were closer places), I have been twice in the past and would happily use them in future if needed.

I decided to wait about six months or longer before writing a review as you dont often notice things right away that are due to sloppy work. People get their car back in one piece and are overjoyed so they give it a 5 star review.Heres what Ive noticed since I got my car back. Some sloppy, lazy work that it shouldnt have left the shop with. Firstly, though Ill mention their frontline staff that assists at the desk and with scheduling/estimates etc. were wonderful to work with. They dealt with my insurance agency and did a great job. So kudos to them.Now to the actual work that was done. In the front driver side theres a panel with gaps that was never aligned correctly and is way out of Kia spec for panel gaps. Lazy work. I waited a good eight months to make sure the new paint had hardened before claying and waxing the car. The passenger side door skin they painted is fine until you get to the bottom 1/4 of the door then the smooth clearcoat gets rough like sandpaper at the bottom. I have no idea what happened there. If the paint was mixed incorrectly, if the blending went askew etc. Its certainly not painted correctly. The rest of the paint they did is very smooth. Its just this lower section of door. It concerns me about the longevity and rust perforation if the paint at the bottom is not correct. Sloppy. And the weatherstripping on the driver side door keeps coming loose and pulling away from the door.I imagine Ill have to spend a weekend correctly aligning the panels to spec and take it to another body shop to diagnose the paint issue. In all mixed reviews. It makes me wonder whats underneath the shrouds thats Im not seeing. Hard to recommend them for body work.

This is the second time in ten years that I have used NHAB and I couldnt be happier. My car looks like new and it was ready one day earlier than scheduled. Keep up the GOOD WORK!!!

I just have to write a review for North Haven Autobody. I had a collision Oct. 15, 2019 and within minutes I was directed to No. Haven Autobody. When I got there was taken care of immediately- as a matter of fact I was expected! Kayla and Inez- the customer service reps. were very efficient and patient, considering my agitated state. My car was looked at, and had the estimated amount ready. The Enterprise car agent, Steve was there within minutes and I was ready to go! No. Haven autobody staff (sorry, I forgot the name of the service guy. I know one is Peter) were very professional and above all, CARING and treated me with respect. I would definitely recommend them to ANYONE! Hats off to you at North Haven Autobody, continue with your efficient and excellent service!

Had a quarter post left rear damage (someone backed in to my cars drivers side, near the rear tire) on my 06 Acura TL, brought it to North Haven Auto Body on a scheduled Friday, estimate said it was due in one week but they were finished in 4 days on Tuesday (High Quality Parts, Smooth painting and finish looked like the damage never happened and very Fast Service, Friendly and Informative Staff) theyve been around for 75 years they know their stuff. 5 stars would definitely recommend. They did this for FREE!! and never even told me until I came to pick up the vehicle.
