I wish I could not even give a star but that’s besides the point however I went Online and made an appointment to have my back window replace over a week ago and I was give an appointment date for today between 8am-12pm I called safelite on Friday to make sure that I would be getting my exact window and they confirmed that I would and I was still schedule for Nov,2 2021 I received a call at 9:35am stating they never received my back window…..This is seriously ridiculous they had over a week to keep check on parts for customers vehicle’s not just me but other people as well let alone calling during the appointment window to deliver bad news. Then even with customer care stating that they don’t know when the window will even come in the representative mention that some costumers has waited months for repair, then the nerve of them to say go through my insurance . What many people fail to realize is even is your not at fault with comprehensive that still falls out you depending on the payout for damages and let’s just say the repair estimate that I received for my back window was not cheap. I am very disappointed in safelite.
I was in a few weeks ago for my windshield - They did a great job on my Toyota Highlander and I was very happy with the whole experience. The office was spotless, everyone was very friendly- especially the nice woman at the front desk. It exceeded my expectations. Thank you!
How much super beetle Volkswagen that came over Pop the front windshield out and put in a new one in minutes what a wonderful sight to see thank God I have glass collision also in my car insurance Safelite Auto Glass is a fantastic company to have.

Scheduled an appointment for my sons truck, he broke the back window out with a stray rock from a weed wacker 🤣. Tech showed up with the wrong part on a Frida and we were told it would take until Monday to order the correct glass. A new appointment was scheduled for Tuesday morning, and the rep told me my son was first on the schedule; the tech showed up at lunch time? Must be a nice schedule... I phoned and asked that a manager contact me, as I was unsatisfied with the overall process and lack of professionalism; still waiting on the call back and its now Wednesday, a day after the work was completed. I did get a call this day for payment however, and the price jumped by almost $100.00! I paid the bill and requested the manager call me right away... again, still waiting as I type this review. I will never recommend this company to anyone as the entire situation was more of a headache than a relief. Also, the window for my sons truck is listed everywhere for under $200.00... so how is it the price jumped to $380.00!?! The answer for me is simple, and I hope you heed this fair warning - Safelite of North Haven are nothing short of legalized crooks who take advantage of folks in precarious circumstances and bleed you dry. No apologies given for their errors, or the inconvenience those errors caused; and certainly no price reduction as an incentive to use them again should new glass be required at a later date. I am still shocked at the audacity and unprofessional behavior of the company, and I truly hope this review makes others give pause before calling upon them for assistance. I would have been far better off doing g the work myself, which is exactly what Ill do in the future should I need a new windshield or rear window replaced... I learned my lesson and rarely allow anyone to burn me twice.

Overpriced. Estimate was near $1k but got job done faster and for only $250. Somewhere else.
Facility was clean and politely enforced socal distancing. The staff where polite and expedite with work and updates.
Came to my house to repair my windshield, broke it more then told me they couldn’t repair it. The technician hung up on me, was incredibly rude and condescending. I have video of him yelling at me that I’m an idiot because it should be common knowledge they can’t repair my windshield at my house.

When I made the first appointment they told me it was not a problem if I didnt have coverage for the car if it rained. When the time was being confirmed and it was raining, I again said I had no coverage and he said it would have to be rescheduled which we did to a home visit. Then I got a call that since it stopped raining, that he had arrived at my job and was able to replace the window. Next day I heard the wind whipping through the window and saw that the weather stripping was not on the window correctly. I called for another appointment which was scheduled for a home visit but got a call that I would need to go to the shop instead. I was disappointed that I had to use my weekend time to go to their shop instead a work or home visit. They do have very friendly staff....
They fixed my glass but broke my car door. My door cannot open or close now, the handle stopped responding.
The technician Alex was on time, professional, and did a great job. He replaced the rear window on 2001 Mazda b4000 pickup. We are very satisfied. Would definitely recommendLuis R. Galarza
This was my first time using safelite [March 2017] and while I was initially happy to use them, afterwards my experience was a big headache. The tech broke a piece of the trim in my car (where my phone holder was attached to) while installing the windshield and he never even mentioned a word about it to me. After getting the run around from the managers at the shop I had to use my insurance company as a middle man to finally get compensated. To top it off while my car was at the dealership doing the repair work they also discovered that safelite didnt install the rain sensor pad that goes between the sensor and windshield, so now theres that to deal with. Needless to say I wont be back and will tell all my family and friends to never use this service.

There was a question about the warranty for a 15 year old windshield they replaced. It turned out they did not cover it and I paid out of pocket for replacement. It took 3 weeks to resolve this issue. The first time I took my car out after the replacement I discovered that my inside passenger door handle had been broken. Its very difficult to get through to these people on the phone and the management that I spoke with was not very friendly, did not return calls and made me feel uncomfortable.

Great service, 5 stars. Approximated labor time was 2 hrs; they were done in 1 hr 10 mins. They were also very detailed in explaining the repair, and how to maintain proper care. Still a loyal customer after 7 years for windshield repairs. Still amazed at how clear the new replacement windshield was, it was almost like it wasnt even there, zero fingerprints.

I had to repair the tiny window between the drivers left window and windshield only to find out the little window costs more than the big one. The guys at safelite were more than helpful and gave me a cash discount to make me feel better. Also they replaced the window very quickly in 30 minutes. The guys that work here are all really nice and listen to you. Ive come here two times for glass repairs and its the only place I will go.

Its a glass shop they were good but thats their job nothing special they we not bad they just dont pick up the phone locally and its hard to check the status of your car. Other than that they were fine.
Do not trust this North Haven facility. They forget who the customer is, rude and do not have the courtesy to follow up. Appointment was made and it was stated a follow up call would be made if glass would not be available.Arrived to have repair done and was informed glass was not available. If they cant make a simple call to advise, I would not trust them to do the repair. Go elsewhere as there are many other competitive suppliers. Dont be fooled by their rating, there running around a 3.0 which is average when considering 2018 only.
Avoid this place at ALL costs. Brought my 100k$ car here for a simple windshield repair. Safelite did more than 3,000$ worth of damage to my car, broke my windshield wipers, installed the windshield incorrectly, causing leaking, and tried painting over their mistakes with black paint. I wish I could attach photos on the horrible service they provided. After a nightmare experience, I was finally able to get them to pay for the damages and get another company to fix the damages and install the windshield properly. Management tried to blame me for THEIR mistakes and dismissed me. AVOID this place!

Tec did exactly what you needed
I had worst experience get a windshield had to wait 4 weeks to finally get one put in. I made the appointment on a Friday had to take the day off of work and went to the appointment and the told me that the windshield had a scratch down the middle of it so I had to make appointment for the following week. The following the mobile shop came to my house to put the windshield in my car and it cracked down the middle and the tec ask me if I wanted to keep the broken windshield in my car. He tried to call for a new one and no one responded. He had to put my old windshield back in my car that had chips in my glass and two days later my glass had cracked on the driver side. So he had to make a new appointment two weeks later, but was told the shop I went to wouldn’t have it so, had to go to another shop which had it, but never was given receipt for the service. The customer service was bad and seem like no one cared that my windshield was cracked. They told me hopefully the shop can get me a new windshield.

Had my windshield replaced there. Excellent experience, i had a little trouble with the promo codes where i had a 50$ off code and then i entered a 25$ off facebook code which kicked out my 50$ off and wouldnt let me put it back. They honored the 50$ and were very helpful.
Best experience possible! Got me in the next day, took my car in as soon as I got there and only took an hour. Plus, they *detailed the inside of my car*! I could not be happier, will recommend to absolutely everyone.
I brought my truck to the North Haven location and they said it was going to take 2 hours and when all said and done it took over 6 hours and it wasted my entire Saturday.. and on top of it all, the windshield was installed incorrectly and I need to reschedule another appointment.. theyre also very difficult to get in touch with over the phone, as it will just continue to ring until it transfers to the corporate office.. I can go on and on, but I have better things to do.
If you want to a place to get your windsheild done where they lie to you, damage your car, then blame you this place right here is perfect for you this location has kids practicing on your car, they have people that act like they will take care of your issues but never get to it until you call them and what is there response......... i was justgoing to call you this place is a joke never have i had to write a bad review but this place deffly deserves it
Had to wait about 2 1/2 hours for my windshield to be replaced and service to be completed. The staff was respectful but the wait is rough.
If you own a Hummer H2 do not have it replaced here. They broke the trim and the cowel grate fasteners.
Had passenger side glass replaced there(recommended by my insurance agent). They asked if I wanted wipers replaced during this visit. I said OK. Wipers seemed wobbly when I tried them, but tech guy said they would be OK. They werent. Got caught in a rain storm and my wipers not only came off but got mangled and twisted and became unusable. Had to drive back there after the rain stopped to get them replaced (25 mins both ways), again.Recently had driver side glass replaced(having bad luck with smashed windows), before a month passed glass tilted when I pushed to lower it. Then it got stuck in that position. Brought it back. Tech said the mechanism that attaches to the window that lowers and raises the window was broken. It was replaced 6 months prior!! And why didnt the previous tech notice it when he replaced the window?? Did he break it? It was new!! By the way an odd occurance...the next day my windshield wiper fell off. First time I used it since my car was at Safelite!! Go at your own risk...

Sometimes you just get a horrible experience and mine was one. Made an appointment, they came to my house, disassembled my car for an hour and THEN checked to find they did not have the correct windshield. Another hour of my life wasted as they reassembled my car and gave me a new appointment a week later. Fast forward to today, no show after I sit and wait 4 hours, apparently leaving a voice mail saying I have questions is a good enough reason to just not show up. When i was connected with Johnathan he was rude and eventually hung up on me after refusing to answer a simple question are you still coming today to fix my car. Total wasted time to Safelite. over 6 hours. Go F- yourself
I needed my windshield replaced and the Tech came to my house on time, he was absolutely wonderful. extremely friendly, and personaable, even talked me throughout the process. I will defineltely call him back if I need in the near future.
Ok so I got a same day appointment, for one quote of 280. Only to get there and the have a 450 price, cant stand scammers. But I am happy I got same day service.

Terrible Terrible Terrible. Do Not Use Them For Business! Had my Jeep windshield replace over two months ago. They came out and replaced it. While they were installing the glass, they found a way to cut the weatherstripping on the inside with what looks like a razor. Not only did they proceed to install the windshield without replacing the part the tec cut, Safelite likes to tell me that all the tecs are well trained. Id say about a week after they replaced my windshield, the trim started to fall from the inside. Now it is drooping a good 6 inches down from the top. You can tell that Safelite didnt use good quality adhesives if the weatherstripping couldnt hold. So I did what any normal person would do in this situation. I tried calling back to have them come out and fix their mistake. Because of their central calling system somewhere in the midwest, It makes it next to impossible to contact your local shop. I finally got a hold of them and they came out il-prepared to fix the problem. The tec had to go back to the shop and get the parts. Turns out the product is on backorder. Well it is just over 2 months and my windshield trim is still droopy. Im upset that such a large national franchise could do such horrible business. I finally received the managers phone number to this store and I called him 3 times in one week to try and make contact with him. The manager doesnt have the audacity to talk to me on the phone. He ends up just sending me a text message after I numerously asked him to call me back. The real cherry on the top with this place is that the have 4 hour appointment windows. You take a half a day off of work only to have these guys show up 20 minutes after the window is over only to find out that the tec cant do anything because he doesnt have the part. And when they are finally able to help you, they only send one tec out and with a soft top jeep, their tool they use to suction to the window doesnt work. I should be getting a discount for helping install my own windshield. I payed this company to replace my windshield but all im getting from them is a lot of headaches.
