I was in the checkout with over $100 worth of items and the last 5 items were being scanned ($2 each gift bags) when the cashier told me she couldn’t sell those items because she guesses they were recalled. I asked if she could hold my other items so I could go back and get different bags and was told no, so I left and went elsewhere to a store who would like my business. I am not sure why you would have items on your racks that have been recalled. And, decent hospitality/ customer service skills would have allowed her to hold the bags I had already packed at the register.Tjmaxx has better quality items for less money anyway.

Great prices, awesome selection, and amazing sale prices too! Not to mention the North Haven,CT store is well organized and much cleaner than another department stores. Plus the employees are always friendly, helpful, and informative about the products that they sell.

Because I had the usual pleasant 15+ minutes waiting in line here, I figured I’d leave a review. This store seems to be struggling. Consistently low on stock, a bit disorganized, and long lines. ALWAYS long lines, regardless which day of the week. Seriously, one register open with a few self-checkouts during Friday afternoon rush?I feel bad for the workers here who must deal with 1) low staffing, and 2) anti-mask customers who complain about everything.

Target North Haven Connecticut. I had not been to the store since pandemic started until Wednesday, September 29, 2021, late afternoon. My experience was similar to two two star reviewers. Not good [It might be helpful if reviewers mentioned what they were shopping for so the discrepancy of empty shelves from some reviewers and high praise for stocked shelves from other reviewers makes sense.]I was shopping NOT for linens or kitchen equipment or childrens clothing. I was shopping for food. I found freezer shelves almost empty with one or two items only and usually they were misplaced from another section. Shelves were empty. Many price tags were missing Things were messy. I asked a stocking employee if there was a week day when shelves were stocked since this Wednesday the food department was not well stocked. He said that this had to do with poor delivery of goods and not enough people to stock shelves. Strange since this is not impacting Hamden (nearby town) Stop & Shop or Walmart. At end of checkout, loading my bags, I asked check out person if she charged me for 4 cans of soup even though I had 5 because the Deal was buy 4, get 5th free. She looked at my receipt and said she didnt think so and I would have to go to the Return Desk to get it taken care of. Was I happy to do this? NO. Walked over and found 4 people in line ahead of me. Happy? NO. My turn. Explained issue as I took 5 cans out of my shopping bag and put on counter. Employee asked if I had 5 cans at check out. Wow! I said I had just walked from checkout to stand in her line and yes, I had 5 at checkout. She looked at receipt and said she thought I had not been charged for the 5th can. Did she offer to show me? No. Did I want to take out my glasses and continue this waste of time? No.I left. I looked at receipt once home and realized that unless I remembered the original price of a can of that soup, I would not be able to determine if I was charged properly. That is how the system is set up. No original price and price charged. Was I happy? NO.Walking around the store was a nightmare. Shoe department - shoes on the loose on the floor rather than being in their boxes. Racks so close together that maneuvering a cart is a challenge. The clothing, housewares, etc. departments seemed well stocked so if reviewers with more review stars were shopping in those departments it makes sense.However, dont expect to get all the items you have on your Food To Buy List when you go to Target North Haven. There may be NO items or one or you may accidentally find it in an unexpected shelf location. Will I shop there again? NO.

Probably the least organized, most untidy, poorly stocked Target Store I have ever been to. I suspect it must have something to do with Covid and the difficulty stores are having when searching for sufficient staff to hire.

They were quick and efficient and got everything right

Ive always had a problem with them just leaving around stuff. As seen in the picture, there is BARELY any space to walk. Always running into costumers because there’s no room. The aisle are very small in general! They also lack hispanic products, they have something here and there but not compared to walmart. I asked one of the staff why it was that way and they said “because the store is not located in a hispanic community.” How is it going to be located in a hispanic community if there are no people living around there? Keep in mind it’s only an exit away from walmart!

I really thought North Haven was nicer than this. This whole store has gone full post apocalyptic, third world. Stuff stacked up in the aisles, every aisle and rack was a mess. Food and drinks that had clearly been picked up, partially eaten and then just put down were everywhere.Just a gross awful store.

Target is always well stocked with whatever I need. Always a pleasure shopping at Target. The cashiers are always soooooo friendly to me.

Quick and easy pickup. The kids working drive up pickup are always hustling and are very pleasant.

First time order online for curb side pick up. 8:45am - still waiting. Called the store and they cannot tell you the status. Poor customer service. Definitely the B or C team when it comes to curbside order/status updates etc., BJ’s and Home Depot seem to do it much better! We will rethink using Target again for this type of order.

First I had to step over garbage at the front door.... as 2 employees also did....when i entered 3 employees were standing together, talking. Which is great, but there were clothes, glasses and hangers all over the ground.... what a shame....

Blown away by the incredible customer service. Going to Target is usually a good time, but team members like Alvin who go out of their way to showcase efficiency, friendliness and positivity make such a huge difference. I was having a rough day but luckily had Alvin as my cashier because he managed to turn it around and make me smile! Thank you!!

Prompt curbside service and order correct and complete

Its a wonderful place to shop, very clean and covinient located. A large parking area. I love the grocery area, Its small but you can find you staples products here. They have the self checkout service. I love it.

Target has a great selection of products online. It is convenient to order online, especially when pressed for time. Order pick up is easy and convenient.

Organize, huge, and friendly staff. It has food and clothes etc.

Ordered rug online with in store pick up. Very good protocol for counting store capacity and offering hand sanitizer. Also overhead messaging about making sure to keep masked or arrange for store to assist with your purchase if you are unable ro wear mask. And rug is just what i wanted too!!

PA system announces continually for guest to observe social distancing and follow arrows. However, this Target chooses to restock their shelves during regular hours and often times (frequently) we are squeezing between the employee and their cart or another customer and the Target cart. Seems to me that you really only want to give lip service to the social distancing thing...

Clean, spacious, good selection of products.

This Target has groceries, clothes, furniture, and anything else you might need! They strictly adhere to COVID policies, which I appreciate. The store is clean, and the staff are friendly.

Like mix of products and shopping experience, but this Target pales against others. Even before the pandemic, out of lots of things for long stretches. Now at least it has been renovated so its nicer to shop there. Checkout person was lovely, but service desk less accommodating.

But thankfully the lady was nice to wait while I went & searched my car. She was so sweet. So, I found my card in my car, Thankfully. But without her being so kind to me & telling me everything would be ok, Im not sure how I would of handled the situation.So thank u to the beautiful lady cashier who helped me through my panic attack. I hope u are reading this, please let me know who u are, so u can get the recognition that u deserve! ♥️

One of the worst target stores I have been in. I was attacked in this store by two women and no staff there contacted police or said nothing. All they did was laugh. This store should be shut down. The staff is lazy and no one wants to help the customers. I will never shop here again!!! Plus I feel that the staff dose not like white people!!!

I love this Target . Its great when it comes to what they have on hand and their customer service . When I was looking for a part -time job however, the hiring manager gave me a time to arrive for our interview (10am). When I arrived they said she wasnt going to be in until 3pm and asked if I could come back ? . I figured there was no clear communication within the team and I made up my mind that I didnt want to work there simply because of that. I didnt bother to come back because she was the one who initiated the time. After that I got a confirmation email telling me that I wouldnt be considered for a job . I didnt even receive a call from the hiring manager saying that she was sorry for the miscommunication ! If your looking for a part time job make sure your team is cohesive and has clear communication. I literally wasted my time and no one cared.

I love getting the 5% off of my entire purchase when I use my Target credit card.I also use the cartwheel app while Im shopping. It scans items for an additional discounted amount. If it doest have a discount then it may tells you which brand does have one They also have a great variety of all types of merchandise. It is a great One stop shopping store. You can buy a TV, Tomatoes and Toys all in one place.

Bought 4 products there. Paid at the register with my card. The register would not print a receipt. I had to wait there for 20 minutes while they were calling for somebody...anybody fromAP to come help out. No one from AP ever showed up. I asked them to cancel the order so I could go to another register and pay there. They said I would have to wait 24 hours for them to charge it back to my card(never heard of that from any other retailer before). So there I was with no receipt(in case I needed to return anything) and no one who could get the damn register to print out a receipt. After about another 10 minutes(30 minutes total wasted), I just took the items and left. Was more than 15 minutes late for work. Most horrible shopping experience ever!!!! AP...AP...AP...please help!! AP...AP...AP...please help!! AP...AP...AP...please help!! Sorry AP not home today. Find another store.

Sales are decent and store is clean and has a nice layout. So far I have had good experiences with all the employees I have interacted with and they have helped me locate things.

This particular target location (North Haven), has to get it together. The front desk customer service does not know what they do when it comes to Red Card transactions. Super disappointing and waste of time. In these times when customer money is very sensitive, you should really know what you are doing. Management seems to not really care. So over this place!

Its pleasant shopping in store, I always find more than what I need.

They had what I was looking for at a much better price than elsewhere. Store is bright and clean. The cashiers are pleasant, but there is always a little wait. Self service never works right though. Its better to use the cashiers and keep people employed.

Ruth in customer service at the North Haven store was incredible. When my daughter left a bag at the store after spending hundreds of dollars, Ruth spoke to me over the phone then met me the next morning ensuring that my daughters goods were given to her. She was understanding, polite and very helpful. Now thats great customer service!

From milk to aspirin, and greeting cards to underwear, there is a good chance you can find what you need (or a close approximation) here. Large store. Wide range of merchandise. Plenty of parking. A Starbucks. Store can be crowded. Lines can be long. There is self checkout, your best bet if you have a few items. Shoppers here tend to buy a lot!

I love the Target in North Haven, CT. Honestly I probably come to this store 2-3 times a week for all of our household needs and wants. Today I went for the hunterxtarget release, I was worried at first but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful even with all the craziness going on. The staff at North Haven are always happy and helpful. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work!

Target always has the items I need and want. The prices are usually pretty reasonable for the item, the store is usually pretty clean with the exception of the bathroom usually being gross. Other than that, I always enjoy wandering around seeing what cute things I can find!

This target was understocked. I asked the employees to check the stock, they just left for less than one minute and told me they don’t have the product in stock, but it showed in stock in the app for that store. The attitude of employees are terrible. I bring the product for exchange yesterday, they charged me additional around $10 for the same item. And they did not want me to apply any coupons, they controlled the screen in front of me and skip a lot of steps, like entering phone number, to final step and asked me to pay. I got one gift card and it was used and showed nothing on the balance.

Employees are nice and courteous. I especially want to commend VICTORIA in cosmetics. She was very knowledgeable, patient and extremely pleasant. It is always a pleasure to shop in the North Haven store, I never had a bad experience and help is always there, people are polite and respectful unlike Walmart in Hamden.

My experience at Target is that he have everything that you could possibly need in a store you have clothing food shoes drinks make up everything that you can think even a drug stores in it and is included in there they have everything a kid kid need everything adult and need everything a baby could need very good stuff I work for them so I know everything thats in the store and I know there I know theres a good place for everyone so in all my life working for Target I think its the greatest store in the world

Employee public health actions were all over the place. I would put about 50% of all employees I saw at my trip yesterday either had their masks only covering their mouths (not noses) or completely off.

Store had products we wanted and a wonderful sale price! Online ordering with in-store pick up was easy and sales staff at Service Desk were knowledgeable and professional.

Dont buy target gift cards. I got one for a gift and some how it was used in texas. I live in CT. It was used on a day I had the card on me. Called target. No fraud department. Nothing they can do. Thanks for nothing.

I think this Targets prices are sorta on the high side, also the grocery part selections are very limited. I think they should check the bathrooms more often to make sure theyre clean & stocked!! The service you receive from the staff is very good.

I came in to shop for a lair of jeans and a button up shirt. The jeans have no order, are not folder, and appear to be thrown anywhere and everywhere. The shirts are the same way. It looks like no employee has gone back there in a while to clean this up.I also cant find a single target employee on the floor to help me. The only ones I have seen since coming in are the ones at the cash registers.I am was extremely disappointed in how much the store looks like it is in shambles.

Sorry to say I picked up afew shirts that should of never been placed on the hanger. The store was so hot today. Im not sure how the employees work. For the life of me why today of all days. The busiest they want to work on on the red balls. Cords everywhere customer satisfaction at its lowest. Custmer saftey zero.

Clean store but Target as a whole has gone down hill trying to compete with Walmart and Kohls. Their registry is horrible in that you pick things for the registry and it shows available but when people try to purchase the items, they are out of stock or on backorder. Furthermore the electric devices they sell are dangerous. 2 different blenders either blew fuses or started smoking. They only wanted to give me 5.98 for a 20 product....how can you sell something and then not back it up

Target is always fun to just walk the aisles. Often times they are out of seasonal items and noone can tell you if they will restock. Employees always kind and helpful. Store is always very clean.

Compare to Walmart. they have better selection. more variety. very busy mall, sometimes self checking drives rude attitudes from the staffs. but I like this store, because I can get 99% of what I need from here.

Target is one of my favorite stores especially this location. The shelves are always stocked and organized. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. However, everytime I use the bathrooms they are gross, no tiolet paper, dried feces on the floor and two broken stalls. Besides the bathroom situation I love this location and will continue to shop here.
