I went in to order cable and internet for my new rental home. Curtis was the employee who helped me. He gets a easy 5 stars!!! he was friendly, helpful and he was very knowledgeable about xfinity! He took care of me and there was no pressure ! Great guy ! Thanks Curtis for all your help !!
Im mixed on this review. While the store was quick, clean and full service the final outcome was very difficult to achieve.I changed an old modem for a new version and did so very easily at the store however they didnt inform me that swapping this device would entail a 3 hour phone with technical support to get WiFi back for all of the devices that were connected to the old modem. Maybe I should have known or anticipated this but a simple word from them would have helped make the situation less complicated.
Upgrading phones (on the same carrier of Xfinity Mobile) was easy and quick here! My sister and I went on a Tuesday afternoon early to upgrade phones and we only had to wait 10 minutes before Dell, a worker at Xfinity, called us over. Dell was very helpful, friendly, and direct. to complete the amoutn of time we spent there to be 45 minutes. This was my best experience so far when going to a phone carrier in person. Piece of advise: Go before 3:30pm if possible and during the week to avoid busy hours.
They was very patient and nice when they were helping us.
I visited this store today to exchange my modem. I had previously called customer service to request the exchange and ensure it was in stock. The exchange itself was seamless and I was in and out in minutes.I was greeted by a friendly and attentive woman working the check in desk. She was pleasant from start to finish and assisted me when I requested a bag to carry out (I did not as her name). Carmine on the other hand should work on her patience and customer service skills. I felt badly for the elderly woman ahead of me that was met with her brass attitude and harsh guidance.
GO ANYWHERE ELSE BEEN ON HOLD FOR 40 min trying to get through to someone. After you finish your two year deal they will charge you double a month. They won’t give discounts and they barely help when you call.
North Haven location customer service sucks. Thats why Im not a customer any longer.
Always a wait.
Always receive great service!
This is my second time in three weeks coming here just to drop off my equipment and this location was packed yet again. Had to wait 30 minutes to be seen while some employees were helping others and having whole conversations that weren’t relevant to phones or cable.. This will be my last time having service with this company!!
The female, Mrs Morales, who works at the Comcast store was great. The person I spoke to via phone was terrible.
My experience at Xfinity was very good, I highly recommend it great customer service by Olivia Keyes, very helpful and pleasant. Thank you Olivia.
Fast efficient service
The staff is always wonderful and friendly, i witnessed employees at times helping senior citizens use the bill payment kios, wish my cable bill didnt go up so high!!!!!! But overall, like the staff and the store layout is pretty cool,
Was paying for internet month to month. Returned my equipment (modem) and they gave me hand written receipt. Guy told us our internet is cancelled on day of return. Nothing else for us to do. Come to find out I am still be billed for internet. 3 calls to 1-800 # later, finally got it cancelled 1 month later.
Very helpful and great services
WOW, I have never seen a customer service operation have so many clients storm out while waiting to be seen. One client was so challenged, she took the combined knowledge of four employees, while everyone else waited, to solve her issue. A complete dumpster fire!
Good lady Carmen helped me out was really nice and professional thanks.
Great staff and fast paced style and
A lot of employees just standing around but the young lady who helped me was proficient so I was in/out.
My tv keeps shutting off by its self. And turning on my it’s self
Just leaving the store, returning equipment was quick and easy. However, Comcast /Xfinity is still the absolute worst. Holding onto receipts to make sure and took pictures of everything I turned in.
Clean facility but they made me wait 15 minutes to return equipment after dropping service.
Slow touchscreens... but still good~(Helpful staff😊)
In the north haven location, Chris was the man. He hooked me up quick and was very knowledgeable. His service was great and very inviting. If there’s ever any issues, Chris is your guy to see.
As someone who is traveling away from home and trying to plant new roots in New Haven, it was very important to me to feel at home. I just wanted to highlight Kris, one of the employees at the North Haven location provided just that. He went over and beyond in terms of providing excellent service, being responsive and understanding, and relational. From the moment I walked in the door, he was efficient and continued to share his wisdom in service of helping me transition into the New Haven community. Overall, I am satisfied with my service.
North haven store is the worst, 3 hours to re a modem you would think they would have the brains to create a return line, Guess not.
Impossible to get a representative on the phone to answer a question.
Great service very helpful
Antoine was so accommodating, helpful, and so nice! I had lots of questions and he helped a ton. The transfer of old equipment to new was simple and fast.
Every time they have to tape everything manually for each matter and takes a lots of time
Xfinity is the worst company Ive ever dealt with. Avoid it like the plague. Customer service is impossible.
I have never had such a pleasant experience purchasing a new phone. Ishmael was so friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and fast! I’m in technology sales, so it’s so refreshing to work with someone who knows their stuff and immediately shows credibility.
Looked up their telephone number and its the 1-800 number instead. Very hard for me to be an xfinity customer when I have to call customer service be on hold for 45 mins just to be NOT connected to an store associate. Frontier was worse but at least I can speak to someone at their stores instead of Bob from Texas
Great, quick service. Professional, courteous staff.
Id give anything to see competition with this awful company
Great service fast and easy this was on a Saturday afternoon
Staff at the location is friendly. However, I’ve had the worst experience with the customer service hotline. They literally could care less about their customers during this time. They have failed to listen, they have failed incredibly with empathizing, clarifying, responding, and failed disgracefully at fixing their own mistakes. I’m beyond disappointed with the customer service and the horrible treatment.
Legendary Comcast service. The woman at the counter acted like she was annoyed that I was there in there in the first place and immediately got defensive, which of course always helps when a customer has a problem and is looking for help. I Will never recommend Xfinity to anyone again to spare them this experience.
Excellent service professional team, I went there to renew my service, getting helped by Anthony, this guy was very helpful and fast, my whole visit lasted for less than 15 minutes, thumbs up for the good customer service.
The guy that helped me at the store was nice and polite. His hands were tied. The guy I spoke to on the phone yesterday was aslo polite but he was a liar. We were on the phone trying to reduce the bill of an elderly man. He told me it was all in the computer and everything was set up. All I had to do was return the modem and cable box and the cords. Exchange that for a simple HD cable box and it reduce the bill by almost $40 dollars. The location told me there was no notation in the computer and no need to switch out the DVR. Comcast is out for the $$$ they could care less about helping customers in times of need or any other day.
I hear a lot of horror stories about their customer service, but returning my rental modem took about 15 minutes and was super simple. I was pleasantly surprised. There was a wait, but it was short and they take you in the order you arrive, so you can wander about the store. Pretty neat!
The rep. I saw was clueless about my problem with my moto E.
Nice and clean store. Employees appeared to be too occupied with their own conversations to even notice me. Helped myself to the cell phone section and DIDNT receive any assistance. I was there to purchase a Apple XS Max for my nephew whos a high honor student. APPLE STORE downtown New Haven here I come........
They resolved my problem
The wait time was far too long to return equipment that was scanned in at the customer counter and to think I had an appointment. Only 4 other customers were in the store prior to my arrival. I hope that Optimum will come to this area because I am not pleased with the Xfinity service. At Optimum, you stand in line, return your items, receive a receipt and then youre on your way. Xfinity, you have to go to the first counter at the door, then wait for them to call your name. Then you go to another counter that looks at what the employee scanned at the entrance and then re-confirm what you have returned and then issue you the receipt.
So Comcast sends a technician over to investigate possible interference with my service; loose connections etc. No problem with anything at all in my home. Technician leaves, no I have nothing working. Comcast says we will get a technician out tomorrow to fix the issue...the issue they created. So now I have no services and am stuck until tomorrow afternoon like this. Thanks Comcast, great customer service!
Convenient location, friendly and knowledgeable staff. XFi is awesome!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Yes, it does get crowded at times and at that point I just return on another day. It would be nice if the store had longer hours since most people work late. Over all, once your with a staff member, they help to resolve your issues and your on your way.
Eddie was fantastic. He seemed to actually care how I felt and he made it very easy to understand my concerns and questions, to make a payment. Great job Eddie, thank you!!!!
I love all the fake 5 star review posts. You can tell by the way they are written they are totally bogus, written by Comcast. This is the worst customer service company in modern history. When you need local help they send you to a call center in Manila, Phillipines to talk to people who are paid slave wages and not even employees of the company. A disgrace.
Not having direct lines to the store off the rip is a huge negative. With the amount of traffic in this stores location, it would be convenient to see if I could save a trip before heading in when it comes to stock related questions. I give it 2 stars just because I somewhat understand the effort in avoiding tying up associates on the phones.
Helpful staff
As someone who is not a fan of Comcasts business practices, this store is an exception to the rule. My one word of advice is DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. The first time I went, I made one, so I waited until that time. When I arrived, they told me the appointment doesnt matter and I started at the end of the queue...would have gone in a lot earlier if I had known that. That said, both times I have gone, I have gotten in and out in under a half hour. One was to return equipment, and the other was change services. Both times the sales associate I dealt with were polite and efficient. Not pushy at all and infinitely better than dealing with their usual games over the phone.
They were helpful nice people work there a bit pricey but what isn’t
You can never reach any live person
Local help instead of outsourcing work better local operator I d the problems so when the technician come it take about 30 minutes to fix
No HDMI cables with new Adapter, thanks for letting me know that.Xfinity is horrible.......Update. After wasting hours of mine and customer service time on Saturday.Tech showed up on time today and within minutes discovered the problem. All I needed besides the missing cable was the CORRECT BOX for my area.Pop quiz for store employees:What is the difference between a Motorola box and a SA box?Answer: good customer service!North Haven not good at all!BTW. Website says north Haven CROSSING.Found you in north Haven COMMON.
Service has become very streamlined in this store. When I first visited a few years ago, they were lines to wait in for every issue. Recently, I’ve visited and have not had to stand in line once. Friendly customer service.
Dropping off my product was convenient & fast.
No even a phone # to ask a question to see if they have a equipment or not, so we dont take a ride for nothing.
I would give comcast absolute zero stars. On a previous account got disrespected and apologized to regularly. They habitually and intentionally misinform customers and expect them to remain loyal. Only offering credits and empty apologies. They are not acceptable. They should be put out of business. No professionalism or accountability. Stay away from comcast.
Miss Keyes, the young lady who assisted me, was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Xfinity / Comcast always gets a bad rap, but this experience was great
Terrible service. No one would help me. I supposedly had to check in 1st which I wasnt told. So when people showed up after me. They were helped first. After waiting 20 minutes I finally asked my question and they told me i had to go to best buy. They were unwilling to me. If there was a negative star, i would give it. Rude unhelpful people. Im surprised the store is still open.
I visited north haven Comcast today. I returned some equipment and was assisted in upgrading services by Denise. She was very friendly and helpful. Very quick service.
Great experience, quick check in and your with a customer representative in no time, Curtis helped me out today and it was a fantastic experience, very pleasant and professional service. Highly recommend him and the store in general
If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Customer service is severely terrible. Im consistently being told Ill receive phone calls within 24 hours to service me, Ive been waiting an entire month now. On top of that Im being provided different information by everyone saying they cant service me to they can to they cant again. No one is on the same page. Ive gone to the store in person as well for assistance and they couldnt even help me. This is my first time trying to sign up for some internet service, but everyone is giving me the run around. Never thought itd be this complicated to get some service. On top of that, one of the agents i spoke with basically told me that I need to call and start a scene to be taken seriously? This is getting out of hand. I have screenshots of all the conversations with the agents, this is some sort of discrimination. Im just about ready to sue the company. I highly DO NOT recommend using this service. What a joke.
Great customer service very happy people. Easiest transition to a new phone Ive ever experienced! We have our cable internet land line and cell phones with Xfinity and we couldnt be happier!
Curtis was great! But only Xfinity can take stations away and still charge you more!!!
I do not want say anything, just check the attach picture,. With The Market Best Modem, Extra paid for internet bill, this is my speed. 92.4Mbps out of 300 Mbps.
Great service very fast solutions
The staff was so awesome! We upgraded our cable box and forgot the remote. We made it just past closing due to heavy black Friday traffic and the doors were locked. They were kind enough to open the door and and give us what we needed! It was something small but it means alot to see someone go above and beyond and value great customer service! Made our night!
Excellent service! Quick, helpful and friendly. Easiest part of my move.
5 people working here watching 1 employee do all the work. The one employee doing her job is great, but watching every other employee just stand around doing nothing makes this place feel terrible.
Arrived at the North Haven Connecticut service center. The service here was abominable and the employees continue to stare at the screens and appear to know nothing of what theyre doing. I observed two of three employees just fraternizing with customers and not tending to business after watching them.talk for approximately 40 minutes. Comcast headquarters really needs to look at this and shut this place down Ryan employees. Its disgraceful here. Aon
Terrible service! Right when I walked in the guy at the counter is on his cellphone texting, a woman was in-line waiting for him, she asks him a question and all he said is “name” and tells her to wait, he goes back on his cellphone while I’m standing there. I say I just have a question about a box, I don’t really wanna wait 20 minutes for one question, he goes stand over there... yea thanks for that (didn’t even ask for me name to try and get me in the wait list), waited 45 minutes not one person walked up and said are you being helped ( mean while the guy at the front desk is slamming equipment that people bring in after he scans them) I walked right out and called customer service they helped me in 10 minutes, never again will go back there, Xfinity should be ashamed at the people they hire to run their stores, and I’ve worked in CS for 8 years.
One of the worst companies put me in collection and I didnt even have a Comcast cable it in my entire life
At least the store looks nice.. and the staff tries to be welcoming by calling out your name and makes a point to meet you in front of the desk instead of staying behind the counter.Things to be aware of:When you get here you have to sign in at the front. Than wait around for your name to be called. The wait can be very long. Im told thats how it always is. (Kind of feel like Im waiting on hold)They dont have a public bathroom.
Very comfortable place. Service was quick despite the number of people. Everybody was very helpful and friendly.
It is fact that this is the worst ISP around.
This place deserves a zero !! My happy butt should of stayed with metro pcs. At least I knew what I would be paying each month. Same amount each and every time. No extra hidden fees. Or fees being pulled out of a hat ! I am so pissed ! I need to figure out how to get out of this Xfinity mobile contract Asap . If anyone knows how...please let me know. 😤😔
They are always quick and good service
Excellent.
Very expensive. I moved a week ago today and still waiting for them to install my cable I called the representatives multiple times and they keep sending me to other people because they don’t want to admit they made an error stating they sent someone out but in actuality they did not because my husband was home. PLEASE THEY NEED COMPETITION then maybe they will humble themselves WORSE COMPANY EVER!!!🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽.....
Ok this is my first time coming to this location and all I had to do was pay a very old bill so with that said it was a good experience. Short wait time, nice facility and friendly knowledgeable staff.
The usual terrible ... There is never a time that I have been to this store when you dont wait for at least 45 min to an hour. Very antiquated. Companies like this are really going to have a hard time once 5G home and satellite internet roll out. Let me see. Going to a Comcast office and waiting an hour or having a box mailed to you that you just plug in.
Fast friendly and knowledgeable. Staff was in and out in 10 minutes
My rep was great today
Went in first thing in the morning to simplify exchange my non working outdated router for a new one. The fact that I pay 320$ a month and am not told I have outdated equipment is an entire other issue I have with Xfinity. But back to the store....I walk in they ask me for my router and my name. Then hand me a piece of paper with a barcode on it. I then sit and wait for an hour until my name is called to be able switch my router. Now there are atleast 7 positions for employees to help customers yet they only have about 3 people working. There are a ton of customers here. Never in my life have I walked into a retail establishment and felt so much like I am st the DMV. This place is just awful and they should be ashamed.
The Cable side definitely needs training on greeting people. And change their attitude. 🤦🏼♂️
Helpful staff, fast service answered all of questions.
I was honestly expecting a very long wait time and disorganized environment, but I was very impressed by the store and the processes.XFINITY has you sign-in at a kiosk with basic details about why you are visiting and they are staffed with several counters to take customers. You are called by name to the counter and there is a screen to see your order by name. The check-in process is very efficient and extremely streamlined. The account reps were very pleasant, and I was given new equipment for my issue (I was there for a technical and equipment upgrade issue). I was given a receipt as documentation for the transaction and didnt have to ask for it.Despite the inconvenience of having to travel to XFINITY locations that are out of the way to take care of these account issues, I was extremely pleased as to how far XFINITY has improved its customer experience compared to the old, archaic Comcast stores!
Fast service and understanding people. Work fast and efficiently to get you out as quickly as possible.
Prompt service. Staff took the time to answer all questions and concerns I have. Very friendly. Sometimes it can be a bit busy though.
Visited twice. First visit I got good service from a pleasant rep. Second visit I was verbally assaulted and threatened by rep, so it wasnt the most pleasant experience. Am visiting later today to turn in all my Comcast hardware (Ive switched to Frontier from Comcast/xfinity and like it much better) and am apprehensive about service. Not a good place.
Nice place, not too bad customer service! They need more people to take care of their customers though!
Excellent storefront! Maps has the GPS pinpoint in wrong plaza. This is immediately across from ToysRus, diagonal from Buffalo Wild Wings. Electonic Check-in keeps your place in line while you wait and can sit or walk around to check things out. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. 100× better than the prison visitor service desk when it was downtown New Haven. Well done.
Interesting store. I arrived at 6:55 thinking they were open until 7:30 as Google stated. They locked the door as they watched me approach 5 minutes until closing time. I gently knocked on the door to inquire. The people who answered the door, Carlos and Courtney, were understanding and very helpful, they provided me with two options, I could GET OFF THE PROPERTY or they would CALL THE POLICE. Unfortunately, neither of these options helped me to pay my bill but I was happy that they were able to provide me options.
Busy midweek evening. About 25 customers in the waiting area, 2 people manning the service desk making what should have been a two minute cable box drop off into a 20 minute ordeal. At least Comcast service is consistent whether you call for support or stop into their store - Slow.
We never had any issues with the employees themselves. They are just regular people doing their job trying to make angry customers happy which we sympathize with. Its Comcasts business policies that are the problem. There used to be a store local to us in Clinton, about 15 minutes away) which was always busy but they decided to close that to save money. Now the only location to return equipment is 40 minutes away in North Haven and, relatively speaking, it was worse than the DMV in Hamden. It was understaffed and the wait was ridiculous. After many years with Comcast I would have to say they are a horrible company to do business with. They hide deals online from current customers by blocking the URLs of the specials and say you have to call them. In reality, you can circumvent their attempts to censor you: If you clear your browser cache and DONT log you can see all the deals they wont tell you about. They are way overpriced and there is absolutely no competition in our area so you have no choice. I hope the FCC steps in. Were just researching our options such as Hulu TV or Youtube TV and once we find a service which carries the 10 (out of 1000 useless ones) we watch well be saying a long overdue adios.
