This place is great and staffed with great people. On weekend mornings, I might try to grab a chocolate lemon pie before they all disappear. They take orders too, but I enjoy the thrill of checking in.

The meats are nothing but the best quality. You can taste the difference. Far superior to other meat markets. Charlie will cut you meat to order. Who ever heard of lean sasuge. It is the leanest sasuge I have ever cooked. The inside of the market reflects the quality.

I purchased steak which cost over $30 at Montowese Food Center to make steak and cheese sandwiches.It was so tough and chewy we could not rip it with our teeth let alone chew it. We threw all the cook meat out.I brought back over half of the uncooked meat and explained to them how bad the steak was, they did not believe me. They only refunded the portion of the meat that was brought back, not my entire purchase. They just did not believe me when I explained how bad the steak was. They said I should have brought back the cook portion.They are overpriced and do not stand behind their product. Do NOT shop at Montowese Food Center, there are other places to purchase quality meat where they treat their customers with respect and stand behind what they sell!
