Troy does show quality work. Just go look at his work you cant fake a great job

Cant say enough about Troy Edwards and the way he runs his shop!!!.....Hes a true car guy who takes great pride in his work and it clearly shows in the finished project...Car was completely repainted in a very reasonable time frame.He kept in close communication with me through entire process on how things were progressing with the job,I totally appreciated being kept up to speed on where we were with it.Car looks absolutely fantastic thanks to Nice Twice Auto Restoration.!! Ive been complimented on how beautiful the paint looks every time Ive been out with it, even winning its class first time shown!I would HIGHLY recommend Nice Twice for your auto restoration needs or repairs....upon completion of my body and paint work I took my car home feeling as if I made a friend more than just another paint job completed.

Definitely was a great experience with Nice Twice Auto. I sent my car in after being beat up in an accident and it came back in a reasonable time frame, good as new! I was overall very impressed with not only the speedy service but also the quality of the service. Thanks again!!!

Didnt sand the hood and fender. The paint chipped without even touching it. Did not square the rear tail light panel that was replaced. Didnt sand the floor and engine compartment before painting it black. I can still see the carpet gunk that was present before I sent the car to his shop. I guess I trust Troy (owner) too much. Enter at your own risk.

I thought long and hard about if I should make this review. I have decided that I will to try to save someone else the hasle of working with Troy. The original reason I chose twice nice was his advertisement on Craigs list. In the add he claimed he would strip all paint down to the metal and then repair body, not just stick on a bunch of bondo. I wanted a person who could strip the car, do body work, and paint. In our initial consultation Troy quoted the cost would be around 5-6 grand. But after he had the car he constantly found more things to charge me for. The final cost was 8500. And I was fine with that. The part that I found intolerable was the constant dishonesty. He NEVER removed all of the former paint, which I asked him about over and over again. He ended up using a ton of filler and not striping the car, all he had stripped was the hood and trunk which he had to send to someone else to do. The overall look of the paint job is ok, but far from amazing. The car has pockmarks all over it, there is paint buildup and drops, overspray on the glass, and spots where it looks like bugs were crawling on the car. Im bummed that I spent almost 9 grand and I know in a matter of a few years I will have to pay to have it done all over again. I know the next time I have any work done on my car it will not be by Troy. I would not recommend him to anyone. If you are considering using Troy due to his supposed low cost paint, think twice. You get what you pay for and you will have to end up paying someone else to do it again right. Save yourself the hasle and spend a little more to do it right. Twice nice is nothing more than a bait and switch.

I have had at least two dozen muscle cars done by Troy and I have been very pleased with the work he has done. If an issue arose he would handle it quickly. These were full restorations and allowed Maraudermotorsports to sell the Mustangs, Chevelles, Broncos, GTOs, Novas, Cadillacs, El Caminos, Rancheros as well as Vintage Chevy and Ford pickups at a very nice profit. I have also recommended some friends who had collision work done on much newer cars and they were absolutely amazed by the quality of his work and color matching. Just to give you a little history on Troy before he owned his own shop he worked for a large automotive paint shop. Whenever there was a defect in workmanship that needed fixing Troy was the go to guy to handle all those issues and make it right. We have tested other shops that were much more expensive and the quality of work was no better. I guarantee you will not be disappointed by the quality of the work done by his shop.
