I was amazed by the fresh food and produce available at Broward Meat and Fish. The local fish marked is especially busy ensuring you of fresh products. Great prices as well. I usually end up buying more than I need! 😀

Great fresh seafood selection..service on my visit early Sunday was very very slow. Nobody acknowledged you or paid attention to the customers that were waiting and stacking up. Not the best experience. But a fair value if you like to wait for lt

A wonderful, amazing meat and fish market at very affordable prices. You can find big packages or smaller portions of fresh fish or meats and a butcher to make your favorite beef cuts to order. They are a regular supermarket, with fresh vegetables and fruits, bakery goods, and theres plenty of ready made food (huge selection) for take out or for eating in (they have tables and chairs nearby). The service was good and its very clean. I will definitely go back!

Publix should be ashamed of themselves for the prices they charge. Great prices on the main items you need to prepare you meals. If you dont feel like cooking this store has their own food court so you can pick up a delicious mouth watering meal to take home. Have a big event coming up let their food court make you party the event of the season. The staff is friendly sometimes theyre learning English as a second language but a little patience and your returns will be great. They have a couple of stores the only one without the prepared food is on State road 7

Found my meat spot. The prices are crazy and good portions. They have fresh meats and fish. Fully stocked with soo much meat and fish choices. Since penn Dutch is no more I will bring my business here.

Some days its pretty crowded....get there early, fruits & vegetables as well! Prepared food also, small sitting area...on your way out play the lotto!

I like Broward Meats, but I cant handle the smell. I would shop more often if they had better ventilation. I get that its a very island store and love the fact I can get things there that are not at Publix, but ventilation!!! Anyway it would be 5 star if I could shop there for longer periods of time!!! I can only hold my breath for so long. The fish are really fresh and so is the meat and Im not taking away from that.

2 stars for check out customer service🖓I supremely dislike flirting at checkout. It is one of my biggest pet peeves. It holds up the line and is unprofessional. On another note, the prices are great. The butchers and the fish mongers are great. The store is clean and well kept.

If you need fresh and high quality seafood this is the place you must go, prices a crazy low, full ingredients for paella and they have the pan if you need it too.

Wow! Love this place. All kinds of foods from different nationalities. Fantastic fresh meat and seafood market. Fresh prepared foods at the other side of the store. The Cuban sandwich was da bomb.

The McNabb and Pembroke Pines stores are the food retailing establishments of the future. Coupled with their meat and seafood departments their international array of packaged goods the stores are always beautifully and meticulously maintained. These locations are truly a shoppers delight.

After reading so many glowing reviews of this location I thought to call in advance to get some prices in the seafood department before I make a 25 mile trip. No one was available to answer the phone in that department so I called back to speak with someone in Customer service. That person informed me that they were not allowed to give out prices over the phone. I then asked to speak with one of the store managers and was informed that it is the store policy which in my opinion seems ludicrous in light of the fact that they pass out store flyers with the prices on them. Needless to say they lost a potential customer.

Shopped for first and last time bought some fruit here on 10/12 it had sell by 10/19 on 10/14 the water melon was sour berries mildew

This was a quick trip to get some fish. Fish was pink and fresh. Very appealing to the eyes. Service was fast. The only downside was, the price of fish has gone through the roof. Ive noticed that Broward Meat prices are very very high. Dont let me get started on when theres a hurricane!! Price gouging!! You have to be a smart shopper and go there for the things you absolutely love and shop elsewhere for cheaper prices. Oxtail was $10 per pound!! Ridiculous!!! No wonder I havent eaten oxtail in a while. No wonder the resturants charge so much!! I get it now! I think Broward meat has good fish but they really need to come down on their prices.

Love love love this market! If you haven’t tried grabbing a plate of food, coffee, or some of their baked goods while shopping for groceries then you need to. Their food is AMAZING! I only came one time to grab lunch for myself. 😄 They also cut fresh fish for you. I’ve only encountered friendly staff, and the variety of groceries, especially meat is the best that I’ve found so far. They always have great sales for the meat happening too, buy one get one. Love this place!

I went shopping at Broward Meat and bought yam. I didnt looked at the price because this is an item that I normally pick up. After reviewing my receipt, I realized the price of the yam was $4.49 per lb. I went to their website and checked the price and it was $1.56 per lb. I called the store and they told me the price is $4.49. I am wondering why the price online from the same store is almost triple the price in store. This price is exuberant. Now I know I definitely have to pay attention to the cost of these produce because stores like Broward Meat and Fish just there to rip poor people off! Literally! I only give a 3 star because I have been a long time customer and really never had a problem like this before. Just be careful to check prices and do not go by what is on their website. Especially now in this Covid-19 situation. Its a shame...

Went to the store and spent $45 on oxtail only that I was expecting to enjoy with my family. It has been a while since having in which I figured I would try out this establishment. Needless to say 3 hours later, half of my oxtail is cooked and the rest is as hard as a rock. I would appreciate some one from this establishment to reach out to me.

Omg I havent been here in years and stopped in yesterday to pick up flank steak and found honey butter (which no other store in our area had) and Sugar Free cool whip!° so now I know where to go for rare finds!!!

Not that impressed. First time there and their meat selection was standard. The meat looks fresh, but selection of good steaks was not great. Only had NY strip and ribeye.. No filets. Not sure I would make the trip again.

Associate at the meat counter was very helpful and pleasant.stire was not too crowded and the cashier was very customer friendly.

We decided to try this market since the one we usually go to has made some changes and is much further away. This is much nicer than the old facility, clean, bright and bigger with better selection. The one thing that bothered me was the smell as we walked in and which got stronger as we neared the fish area. I know that meat and fish markets generally have a specific odor, but most arent this strong. It seems like there should be a way to correct it by ventilation, or whatever.However, on the flip side, the selection of meat and fish was huge. The prices were more reasonable than the chain grocery stores that plague this area. We bought a lot of meat of all sorts. We had the baby back ribs tonight. We got a huge slab for under $10, easily enough for 3 of us with some left over. They were meaty and fall-off-the-bone tender. The best back ribs for the best price that weve found.Im hoping the rest of the meats will do as well and Ill update as we try them.The fish selection looks fresh and promising. There were a lot of varieties that Ive never heard of. After some research, Ill have to try them.

I like this establishment. They hv fantastic prices on produce! They sell fresh fish and meats. They also hv a selection of frozen fish. Perimeter shopping is really affordable. Pre packaged not so much unless it’s on sale. The food at the hot food area is really good. I’m super picky about where I eat a beef patty from but theirs are fire; as long as u get it fresh. You can find Caribbean candies on end caps and or displays. They also sell their own rice, cornmeal, and seasonings. They so money orders and hv a stand upfront which sells a bunch of other things like medicines and elixirs. It’s definitely worth checking them out if you’ve never been. Also it can get stuffy with customers sometimes because they usually don’t have enough cashiers and there isn’t a self check out area.

But I love the deli and the wide selection of foods I choose for lunch or dinner....and the prices are reasonable. The service was terrible, they did not send me some products, the vegetables were damaged, the weights are not correct, I do not plan to use this service anymore.

Really good prices on meats and seafood! Cant beat the deals. The butchers do an excellent job cutting and cleaning whatever youre purchasing. I recommend a light Jacket while you shop! Also the weekends are packed. If you can, shop during the week day or morning!

Stopped in late last night to check this place out. A coworker mentioned to me that they have a huge selection of fresh fish and that this place is a must try. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised on the selection, i had a craving for shrimp so i bought a few pounds. Shrimp was great and price was by far better then places ive gone in the past.

Ive been shopping here for the last 3 years, its practically one of my top grocery stores to go to for meats and fish. With a Caribbean influence things that we would find at home (in the West Indies) majority of the items can be found here! Prices are decent, when sales are on its madness. But other than that my experience her is always pleasant!

Great market. Butchers are great. Prices are unbelievable. Produce is beautiful and far cheaper than the traditional chains. Highly recommend.

The Price is Right

Their employees have absolutely no concept of customer service. My most recent visits have all left me perturbed, and on my last visit I actually just walked out of the store thanks to Isabel behind the custom service counter.It is blatantly obvious that they do not care about the customer. I am left to wonder - since so many of their team members are so rude and unprofessional while on the floor and in plain view of customers - what then are they doing when packaging food in areas where they cannot be seen by customers?! What are they doing to meat and such in order to exact vengance for whatever slights they feel?!Additionally, the hand baskets for shopping are filthy and I have seen numerous packages torn open, with the food item exposed, that were still hung up for sale.When I have to start questioning basic things due to an indication that the minimum expectations for quality and general consumer safety/welfare are not being met by the business (at a minimum) I will chose to spend my money somewhere else...
